The ambience is chill but cool, unique space. Staff was nice. The Goat cheese and beet salad didn't have a lot of goat cheese on it. My shrimp and grits were good but maybe woild get with less maple drizzle next time; it was a little sweet to me. Beers were good!

Support a local, woman owned business. Had a great experience at Eris. The outdoor seating is fantastic. Plenty of tables and a little play area for kids. Started with a glass of Punx and really enjoyed it. Had the shrimp and grits as they were serving brunch and do glad I did. They were excellent. They have a decent kids menu as well. Will definitely be coming back.

Loved the ambiance of this place - didn't feel too hipster-y like some breweries. Ask about the history of the building - I like to think the disco ball upstairs is a remnant of when it was a Korean temple. Food was FANTASTIC (pork belly gyros were so good, the meat was so tender), as was the cider. I'm not a beer girl so it was awesome to have more than one option for hard cider.

Local women owned business that’s truly a special gem! Love that they offer various sizes of their ciders - I always get the smallest glass so I can try a handful and basically build my own flight. Food is way better than stereotypical bar menus. I recommend getting a sweet dish for the table to share then going primarily savory for food if you’re drinking ciders since those can be on the sweeter side

My partner and I stumbled upon this gem while in the area looking for lunch... What a pleasant surprise! A beautifully restored old building also featuring an incredible beer garden on the side. I had the BBQ bacon grilled chicken sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten! The service was excellent, with quick seating, an attentive server, and hardly any wait for food. Exceptionally clean and very tastefully decorated bathroom! I look forward to returning so I can sample the cider and beer. They told us there's a Happy Hour 4-6 M-F with $5 cider/beer and app specials!

Amazing beer and cider options! Service 10/10. The outside seating is awesome when the weather is warmer. Plenty of seating all throughout! Great appetizers, salads, and the cinnamon donut was super yum!

We had a team meeting at Eris Brewery and had a great experience overall. We arrived a little late around 8:20pm and the kitchen closes at 9pm. We ordered cauliflower wings, pasta prima, grilled cheese with tomato soup, and a couple of ciders. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The only downside was that we ordered a dessert that never arrived, but it wasn't added to the bill either, so we assumed the server may have just missed it. One thing that was a little frustrating was that when we declined another drink at 9:15pm, it took the server another 10 minutes to bring us the check, despite there only being a few tables in the room. He even came back and asked if there was anything else we would like, which was considerate, but then went to stack chairs for another 5 minutes before finally bringing us the bill. It's frustrating when servers drag out the bill unnecessarily, and it can feel like you're being held hostage when you're ready to leave. When the server first asked if we wanted another cider, he had a terminal in his hand, so it's unclear why he didn't ring us up in that moment since they were closed and we were ready to go. Overall, I would highly recommend Eris Brewery for a team meeting or casual night out. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The service could have been a bit more efficient, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.

So my friend and I came here because my birthday plans got changed at the last minute. We decided to have a nice lunch together, she suggested ERIS and I can't say enough great things about this place it is absolutely amazing. The food is great. Great is the best way to describe how good the food was. I had a brisket burrito, yes, yes I said a brisket burrito with asparagus on the side. It was to die for. This is quite possibly one of the best food menus for a craft brewery. I suggest coming here for an event. I suggest going to their trivia night. Even a simple lunch with friends this is the perfect spot for almost any occasion.

We had a nice experience at ERIS. The decor was incredibly charming. Casual and yet classy. Our food was mostly good. We got the cheese curds and the smoky cauliflower wings for apps and they were both amazing. The butternut squash pasta was alright. They have a big selection of vegetarian options. The ciders and cocktails were nice. Our service was very good. Polite and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Incredible food, building, and service across the board. Their vegetarian options are just as good as everything else and their beers are as good as their ciders. If you get a chance, go say hi to bartender Efrain. He's a super solid dude, who loves to chat. His energy and service was top notch the last time I ate at the bar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Eris. Our group all kicked off the night with a Cider Flight, Fried Pickles & Cauliflower Bites. Everything was delicious. The vibe was a lot of fun. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. We will definitely be back.

We had a great meal and I didn't get sick! They have a variety of gluten and dairy free options. I had the burger on a gluten-free bun with vegan cheese and fries. We also tried the fried pickles with vegan chipotle ranch dipping sauce, which was fantastic!

We met with a few friends for beverages and dinner. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were not greeted by the staff, which I thought was odd. It's a beautiful establishment with a nice ambiance and upbeat music. Then came the ordering of the beverages. I went to the bar and ordered a beer before my friends got there because I didn't want to be the first one at the table. I'm the type of person that likes to taste the quality of the beer minus any type of water jet being sprayed into a glass, especially if it's a brewery. I like the true taste of the beverage before it is watered down. I requested that no water be used for my beer glass. The bartender indicated that the water is used to clean the glass. First of all, I would hope that my glass was actually cleaned by a professional dishwasher before it made it to the bar. In any case, I started to receive attitude from her. After the first glass was washed with that water jet stream, she then proceeded to give me another glass without the water being jetted up into the glass. The beer was delicious. This brewery has very good beer. Onward to the dinner. If you order food or beverages from the wait staff expect to wait at least 30 minutes to 40 minutes in between orders before you see a waitress. Each time we finished our beverages, we had to look around for our waitress. Another interesting note, every time we received a beverage or food, I noticed that when someone would thank the waitress, she would simply walk away and that was also the case with the bus boy as well. It certainly wouldn't have hurt to say "you're welcome", or "is there anything else I can get you"... I think I'd have to point the blame at the managers for not properly training wait staff in proper etiquette. We ordered the cheese curds, the fries and the fried pickles for appetizers which were delicious. Also the the entrees we're pretty good as well. I would like to give this establishment a better rating, but unfortunately the customer service was some of the worst I've encountered while in Chicago. This was not just my opinion, but six other guest opinions as well. :(

This place is essential to the Chicago craft beer scene experience. They're obviously known for their ciders, but I had one of the best brown ales I've ever tried. I'm not vegan, but I ordered their vegan meatloaf and was blown away. Come for the cider, stay for literally everything. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Fantastic place to have a group! The food was delicious and they had good gluten free and vegan options!! The drinks are a great price and really interesting. I highly recommend. Do NOT bring a cake though there is a $50 cutting fee.

GREAT service, esp for cider recommendations - our server really knew her stuff! Also rest assured that even tho there's only 1 red & 1 white wine offered, they are both South African, very nice and a very fair price point. Food is elevated bar food. Most of ot is a bit heavy but comfort all the way. It would be nice for a few lighter choices besides salads. Bring your vegan friends, the gluten free gang cuz they have options here. And don't miss their outdoor space when summer returns!

Love this place. So many gluten free options! They have a skillet gluten free cookie! The cider is delicious and we got a flight to try lots of the flavors. The prices are a little expensive but it is a great date night! We can't wait to come back again.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Eris in September. It was a great experience. The venue was beautiful. All of our guests loved the outdoor cocktail hour. Cider flights were provided, which i loved. We had kids at the wedding and the parents loved the games and places to run around. Nothing but rave reviews of the food. The staff was so kind and energetic. They have bar and table service for drinks all through the reception and dinner. They were very accommodating and set up everything we brought in. I would definitely reccomend having a wedding here. Such a unique experience.

So happy Eris is in the neighborhood! We’ve been going for years now and the food, drinks and atmosphere do not disappoint! This place is great for an intimate dinner or with bigger parties. The servers have all been attentive and friendly, offering drink and food suggestions. Every time, we eat here, I tend to order the pork belly gyros and fried pickles. (If you’re a pickle fan, they’re a definite must-try!)
