This place is completely under the radar, and I have to say their personal tavern style pizza is one of my favorite deals in the whole city. You can pick it up and bring it along to a visit to the nearby Map Room. That's a full Chicago experience. Amazing texture of the crust and great flavor. Really recommend!

Myself and my friends had an absolutely fantastic time at My Pi. Friendly service. Great explanations to a group of deep pan virgins. We had vegans in our party and they were extremely well catered for with a whole vegan menu. The pizza itself was stunning. The tomato sauce was rich and zingy, sweet with a soft, chunky consistency. The herbs and spices took this pizza to another level. The dough was soft with just enough crunch. Flavourful and the perfect accompaniment to the toppings we chose. The garlic bread and tomato dip was also phenomenal. Thank you so much for going above and beyond. This meal capped off a perfect first day in Chicago. Love from Dino World x

Got a small deep dish pizza with vegan cheese but pepperoni (dairy allergy) and the vegan garlic bread. It was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend. Be sure to call ahead for pick up (we ordered at the window and had to wait awhile).

Great deep dish pizza. The thin crust pizza was pretty decent too. Visiting from Ontario I was shocked about paying 80$ cdn for two small pizzas but I guess that's the way it is???

I wanted to get the vegan garlic bread which was unfortunately not available, the vegan pizza is made with Daya cheese, so just to let know others because it's good to know. There is a nice selection of vegan options. I chose a salad and we ordered also small deep dish regular cheese pizza with kalamata olives. It was both great. We enjoyed!

Important to note, this place is take out only! They have a couple picnic tables outside but there is no indoor seating. As vegans, we really appreciated that they provided non-dairy cheese, but I just didn't love the pizza. It just didn't seem that high quality to us.

Well pickup was not the nicest. The pickup space is so tiny. Only 3 people can fit. So waiting in the cold for longer than 15 mins isn’t fun. Even more when the cashier is lollygagging. I finally get my pizza. And to be honest it’s dry. Bare minimum sauce and it’s thin but not even crispy. I got the thin sausage pizza. For $22 a medium with this quality makes me feel cheated. I could have went to Fiesta Pizza and got a medium sausage for $10 and it’s better quality!!

I ordered My Pi's deep dish pizzas via nationwide Goldbelly delivery. Can't get deep dish pizzas like this in NYC. The pizzas arrived fully frozen, intact, and on time. Their pizza's can be compared to the others I've had in the past from Chicago (Lou Malnati's, Pequod's, Bartolini's, etc.), however, My Pi's aren't quite as "deep" and heavy as the other's I've mentioned. Still large enough to feed 3-4 people easily, though. Their sauce flavor isn't as robust and flavorful as the others, but I was impressed by the amount of toppings on each pie. Cheese was super gooey, as a pie like this should be! Overall, a solid deep dish pie experience considering it came from half way across the country!

We didn't have a lot of time passing through Chicago, but definitely wanted to experience authentic deep dish pizza. We stopped at My Pi based on Google reviews, and our expectations were completely exceeded! Everything was perfect. The crust was tasty, and somehow soft *and* crisp. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. The cheese was perfectly melty without scorching our mouths. And the sauce. Oh! The sauce! Is there an Italian Nonna in the kitchen making it? It sure tasted like it! If I could give My Pi 10 stars I would!

No indoor dining. Take out & delivery only, which was not accurately reflected at their web page. Luckily, it was a nice day & they do have outdoor seating. We sought out this place, specifically for vegan deep dish. It was amazing! We order the vegan cheese pizza & a vegan spinach, which also has mushroom, onion & bell pepper. Scrumptious! The pie crust was perfect. I love that their sauce is not a puree but rather has chunk of San Marzano in it. They offer a thin crust also, that I did not try. Parking is very limited. Order ahead is recommended, because it literally took 30 minutes to get a deep dish. If you are ordering vegan, please emphasize that, because they serve omnivorous also. I had a little miscommunication with the person who took my order & ended with a pizza with dairy cheese. The server realized it when the pizza came out & made it right, but again had to wait another 30 min for the right pizza. All in all, a good experience & worth the time & effort for an exceptional vegan deep dish! Will recommend & plan to visit again.

Our best pizza experience ever. We hadn’t tried a deep dish yet, so actually stumbled upon this place for a deep dish. The waiter advised us to start with a thin crust to be able to compare a deep dish to a thin crust. What a great advise! Both pizzas were amazing and we enjoyed the comparison very much. Highly recommended.

Pizza is my favorite food. This was the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. Very vegan friendly restaurant. I got the small pepperoni deep dish and my friend got a vegan pizza and vegan garlic bread. All very good. Employees were very nice. Refilled our waters many times and let us use bathroom. No indoor seating but there are picnic tables outside. Great place. Will come back next time I’m in Chicago. THANKS!!!!

Actually quite good. Spinach, sausage and garlic deep dish pizza. It had a good strong flavor, no blandness. I’m used to a lot of cheese in stuffed pizza, but this isn’t stuffed. My friend would’ve preferred more cheese though. I picked up the pizza (after driving through crazy traffic) and the building is quite small in a strip mall with not too many and tiny parking spots. The person that rang me up was nice. I don’t think you can sit inside, or maybe i just went to the pickup door/window. When i paid it automatically asked for a tip. I clicked none. I don’t like when they set it up asking you for tip for stuff we never used to tip for. I mean, companies please pay your people properly and stop shifting out to tips.

On my trip to Chicago I wanted to try Chicago deep dish. I had plans for somewhere else, then I realized I needed to find both vegan and meat. This is the only place I could find. It was amazing. I don't know if I'll try another place, why should I when this was so good.

Amazing take-out deep dish in a convenient location. The crust was crispy, toping were fresh, and it was delicious. Fast service, and there are a couple of small tables outside if you want to eat it there.

The food is really good, very flavorful. The vegan mozzarella was amazing, and they catered to vegans very well. Cannot recommend enough.

I'm such a huge fan of the spinach souffle pizza! It's so unique and such an amazing blend of the spinach cheese and amazing sauce. I've been going to My Pi for years. It's mostly takeout but they do have some nice picnic tables outside you could eat at if the weather is nice

Vegan cheese deep dish was soooo good! Flew back to Nashville with it and it was still amazing after being in the car, going through two airports, and the flight. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town. Also, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The location was great, too.

The vegan deep dish is out of this world!! My non-vegan husband even loved it! All of the employees were super nice as well, and we had fun sitting in the outdoor tent seating. We will definitely be ordering some to ship to back home to Iowa when we need a deep dish fix, and this will be our first stop when we’re in Chicago again!

Being new to Chicago, we have designated Fridays as pizza night. We have been trying different pizza restaurants and tonight was My PI Pizza. Omg this pizza is amazingly delicious!! The crust is crispy and soft at the same time, the sauce is so flavorful with a hint of sweetness. We also ordered a Caesar salad and the dressing tasted like it was made from scratch! All in all this was a super yummy Friday pizza night, Thank You My PI Pizza we will come back and try the thin crust.

A gem of a hole in the wall! The spinach and mushroom vegan deep dish was amazing! The sauce was incredible and the crust was perfect. Friendly service and tourist advice included! I’d come back to try the Vegan thin crust if I were in town longer!
