I came to pick up my online order. I was told to do a line inside. I did the line, once I got to speak to a customer service representative I was told that I was in the wrong line and that I needed to be outside. Once outside I requested to speak to a manager because I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment and they did not allow me to pick up my watch earlier than my arranged appointment. I explained my reasons of needing to be accommodated. I was running out of time, needing to drive to Lagrange IL. I was offered to come for the watch (online order) on another day. I live very far from this particular store. I asked for an accommodation, staff informed Manager Courtney of my situation, Courtney saw me from far and send staff to inform me that she was busy. Manager Courtney came 5+ minutes after, I explained my situation, she informed me that I had to wait at least 7 minutes before my pick up. There was barely 3 people in line. I was standing in the corner until my time, suddenly a caucasian women showed up at 12:18 and said “I am here for my 12:30 appointment”. She was allowed to go in. The 2 staff did not tell her that she needed to wait. I looked at them and they realized I was standing there waiting for no reason. I am posting a picture of the line. I am suggesting for cameras to be looked at. I could not come up with this! I finally got in, during my pick up time I asked staff for a different size in watch. Staff member informed me that it was a big process to give me a different size. To take the watch and that I had 14 days to return. Absolutely nothing went right on my visit to this store. The worse Apple experience I ever had. Never will I come back to this store. Apple I suggest you do mystery shoppers on the daily. Garbage store!

I bought an Apple Watch and it broke in the first few weeks due to a defect. They are unable to give me a replacement option due to system limitations. And they can’t be flexible with any solutions. This is when I switch to a Whoop.

Andy was extremely unhelpful and rude didn’t even care to ask for what color of the case I was looking for; instead, he decided to read the whole inventory of the store, of course, so that he could make his sell I walked away without getting my husband his valentines gift. Andy needs some more customer service training and actually Ask for what the customer is looking for and NOT what He wanted us to buy.

Super busy in the middle of the day for whatever reason. Everything is slow and there's not enough workers to get through customers efficiently. Not to mention everything is overpriced. A basic setup with large wooden tables where people can sit or stand. At least it's cool inside so you're bot burning up while you wait.

We are fans of Apple products and we always appreciate the convenience and helpfulness of all the technicians who work at Apple. However, we went there today in the afternoon at around 2 pm just to pick up an order. There was a line and we waited for a few seconds until the front guy came to greet us. He said hi and told us to go sit down without even asking for our name and the service we wanted. We still trusted the process and were patient enough. But they let us sit for about 40 mins and no one came to service us. We went to the front guy again and he just did not even remember us sitting there for 40 mins already. He started to ask what he could help and never even said sorry to us for having us wait. Well, it is something that front workers need to pay attention to and be aware for future customers.

They gave the system down, as soon as we walked in the greeter said hi and checked us in for our appointment. We only have to wait about 5 minutes before we were served. They troubleshoot our laptop in no time and was about to fixed our problem was n no time. Glad Apple have the Genius Bar to fix Apple products in a hurry. Only complaint: it’s incredibly hard to find the right link to sign up for an appointment, the stupid Ai wasted so much of my time with dumb questions, I feel Apple really prefer I don’t made an appointment and come in.

Terrible service, despite the fact I was greeted very nicely, scheduled to buy iPhone 14 pro max once I stepped in. No coordination between staff, long waiting hours just because they are not coordinating well enough. It is extremely slow Apple store, can’t compare with Michigan Avenue Apple Store which is unique in terms of service excellence. I have been just sitting in the store for the last 57 minutes, I am sure they will tell me that we will close the store soon. How come it is extremely difficult to buy IPhone for which you will pay 1000$+ . Please to another store to enjoy your shopping experience and not to waste your precious time.

Great customer service. Shopping for iPhone 14 max pro but not have in stock need to order to pick up. New item is coming on 10/7 so need to wait and see. Mac book also possible. See technician need 5 hr to wait. So please make an appointment ahead of time. Apple store will reimburse for parking up to 2 hr. Crowed as usual.

I went into this store and was greeted enthusiastically and cordially. I had them answer some questions for me about both iPhone and MacBook Pro. My questions were answered fully and adequately. I was walked through increasing my iCloud storage in order to back my phone up to the cloud. We also looked at how much a new MacBook Pro with my desired specifications would be. That’s why I deducted a star, because the prices seemed astronomical, making it very difficult to upgrade my laptop. I have a 2012 MacBook Pro. It has gotten me a lot of mileage and helped produce some great music, but even after hours on the phone and in-store with Apple Support, it still runs very slowly and puts a dent in my effort to be creative and spontaneous. I hope I can save up the money to buy their new MacBook Pro, but that might not be for a while. In the meantime, I am stuck with a very slow computer and that is a challenge.

After the release of the new iPhone, we searched at multiple locations until we found our perfect match at Lincoln Park. The customer service at this location was just outstanding. Bola was very helpful with the whole procedure of purchasing the new phone. The attentiveness of the employees greatly enhanced our experience!

I've had to go to this location for repairs twice, because apparently my phone is a lemon. The first time they replaced my screen, and the second time they replaced everything else. The first time they wiped all of my data because they incorrectly wrote down that I had an iCloud backup, even though I had explained that I did not, because my phone had basically turned into a brick. The second time, I explained that I had a computer backup: the person at the beginning explained that when I picked up my phone, they would set it up with me to ensure that the cellular plan connected and then I could restore my data at home. When I returned to pick up my phone, I was told that they had no idea how to do that and without a second device with me for the two-factor authentication I would have to do it at home. I guess I'm going back tomorrow morning, because it's still not working.

The check in system at this store blows! I walked in & checked in and waited to be called. I kept seeing people walk in and get taken care of and leave and I was still there sitting. Mind you I asked the person whom checked me in twice on an update (waited 1 hour) and they said I would be next. The reason why the employees are not able to find you is because the check in person describes what you’re wearing along with your name. Mind you it’s winter and everyone is Wearing a jacket. Seriously apple what kind of system is that? For a technology moving forward company you lack structure. Come up with a better system. I came in at 12pm and it’s now 3:25 and I’m still waiting for my phone to be worked on. On the plus side I did get a discount for the inconvenience however it was mediocre at best! While waiting for my phone I saw several Spanish speaking customers being communicated by a translator by non Spanish speaking personnel. Seriously this store lacks diversity. You must not really care about the customer service being provided.

They used to be better I guess. I’ve been coming to this Apple Store for years but just recently people are not as helpful as they used to be. I guess times have changed and the economy is not as great. But the Genius Bar could still be polite and helpful. In my last visit all I got was no options and a little hostility. Sucks a little bit, I love Apple products. :/ I had an appointment and they reset my Powerbeats pro for a battery issue. Told me to have them on and if they powered off to come to them. 25 min go by and they turn off, I come back and tell me the wait is 2 hrs …. After waiting for the 25 min for the power beats defective battery….

Very nice staff and we were helped quickly. I stopped by without an appointment to see if they had the new model in stock and they did. The staff put me down for a in store pickup right away and I waited around 5 minutes before being helped. Purchase was easy and they had a table in the back where we can sit while my information transferred over. This part took the longest time but it’s understandable. We parked in the New City garage and walked over (we bought something at Mariano’s to validate parking). If you’re not driving, this is a very convenient location right outside the North/Clybourn L stop.

Anytime I’m looking to upgrade any of my Apple Devices, or if I encounter the occasional technical difficulty, this place is my destination. There’s plenty of display items I can interact with to see how they’ll work for me, there is plenty of knowledgeable staff to answer my questions or solve my problem, and it’s always been a very quick and smooth process. I’ve been to other Apple stores both here in Chicago as well as other cities and this place is by far the best of those I’ve experienced!

Patrick was absolutely incredible. He has a great sense of humor, was knowledgeable about the product, took his time with me, wasvery quick to ask if I needed help, brought over a chair for me, and helped others while we were at a pause in my purchase. If I was a member of the management at this store, I would certainly consider Patrick for some type of managerial position. He was very focused on giving me the best customer service experience that he possibly could. I was a little leery after reading the google reviews but my experience was very positive. The young woman at the table for setting up iphones was also very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. ( tattoos and nose ring)

I went regarding an issue with my phone not charging. The staff was very friendly and Edgar was able to help me save over $500 on the repair that my phone needed. Additionally, when I went to pick up my repaired phone, I arrived a couple minutes after close and both the security and Apple team were extremely kind and helped me to get my phone restarted and restored anyway. Though I hope I won't encounter any more phone issues, I will certainly revisit Apple Lincoln Park if I do.

I want to just say, I respect every single worker here. Everyone’s been so kind and considerate and patient. I’ve seen idiots walk in causing mayhem for no reason at all. Hold yourselves accountable, these guys are just doing their jobs. You people have amazing patience because I would’ve been fired within minutes. well done to all the staff at this store.

Jacob was amazing! I have been to this Apple store a few times to purchase a phone, Apple watch and more. I have always received very good service. Jacob took it to another level! I was purchasing a new watch which was difficult to find the one I wanted. I also needed to return an item, and get a screensaver for my new Apple phone (they were out of stock when I purchased my phone here). Jacob’s service was exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable, and he offered a few suggestions I hadn’t considered before arriving. I have been purchasing Apple products in 3 different cities where we’ve lived through the years and Jacob is the finest sales rep in all my experiences. I will continue purchasing items here for my family and I.

I went in there to change my battery and they were so fast doing so. I had also had a cracked screen without a screen protector and when i came to retrieve my iphone i had discovered they changed my cracked screen and it was like seeing my phone for the first time. great customer service and they were so kind with their flexible pickup hours.

Shopping is made simpler by the presence of this Apple store. Additionally, it is close to Chicago's downtown. However, Apple Store staff members are disrespectful and not well-trained. They fabricate a tale out of a trivial matter to squander peoples' time. There is no acceptance of the digital Apple gift card given by Chase Bank. They only took gift cards from the Apple Store. Those Digit gift cards are simple to redeem and add to an Apple account. They informed me that "they only expected sending from an Apple Store Gmail account." sent from apple store Gmail account.'' I only waste my time going there and coming back. And I prefer my friend and family not to go to this apple store.

Very helpful staff, came in for a trade-in for an iPhone 14 Pro Max and they explained all the questions and they were able to wait and verify that all your data was transferred from your old phone to the new one, (it took time, but make sure to make a back up of your pictures and videos at home because that's the main thing that causes a lot of time transferring).

I'm not an apple user, but my partner is. When visiting the store to upgrade his phone, I received a message that a family member passed away and stepped outside to quietly cry to myself. The security guard noticed and so compassionately asked if I was okay, how he could help, and if I needed anything. I declined, but he came back a few minutes later with a couple bottles of water and words of encouragement. I wish I got his name; that man deserves all the love in the world. He stepped in when nobody else in my personal life did. Thank you, unknown Apple security guard. I appreciate the kindness more than words can express.

Jed (young man) helped me on 6/17 with a small purchase. In addition setting up a Genius Bar appointment. He is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and has such a great attitude. A+ for Jed. The store is nice and efficient, they greet you when you come in and immediately connect you with the right staff person.
