The food is very good. The rice is vgood. This is the true test of good mexican food. Great staff, friendly. My only complaint - for indoor dining, the prices merit real silver wear. Not sporks nov 2022 the pozole was awesome. Plenty of meat n hominy. The carrotc and cauliflower spcey mix is vgood

Food was good but the prices…………the prices are out of control!! Almost $40 for one person on a platillo and a large horchata. I completely understand inflation and being understaffed but it seems like they’re taking advantage of the the economical crisis. Again food was good but consider other restaurants around the area with similar to better food with much reasonable prices.

I've been buying food from here for years and I've never had any issues but today the service was terrible. I called today to ask how many tacos came in a dinner and the young lady who answered seemed bothered with my call when I asked her if I could order she snickered at me. I had her on speaker phone and my daughter was in the car with me so she heard everything I had to keep repeating to the girl my order so I asked for 2 tacos dinner one with 3 tacos the other with 4 tacos I clearly told her Carne Asada and cilantro only, mind you I was speaking to her in Spanish. We go pick up the order and go all the way home I no longer live near the restaurant and when I open our food trays they are both filled with onions. My daughter doesn't like them and I'm allergic to them. So I call the restaurant and ask for a manager the young lady that answered told me how could she help me. I explained the situation she said she would check my order then comes back online and says that she checked the notes that the waitress took and it said onion. I told her that I never said onions and I even repeated to the waitress three times because it was like she wasn't paying attention to me. The manager tells me I'm sorry there's nothing they could do. She basically told me the error was mine. Really!? So the waitress couldn't have been wrong? So instead of telling me to go exchange for the correct tacos or that she would give me credit all.she had to say was sorry. What kind of customer service is that? Our conversation got heated i didn't appreciate her blaming me for the order being wrong. She tried to tell me that they have new staff that are still in training I was like ok understandable but that doesn't fix my order.I asked for her name and the waitress that took my order and at first she was hesitant and didn't want to give them to me when I asked her again for both names she said her name was Carmen and that she rather not give the waitress name because she only spoke Spanish and didn't Under English so good but what I don't understand is that I was talking to both of them in Spanish. Once I said that I would report her then she gave me her name Carmen I asked once again if she was a manager and she said yes. Then she gave me the name of the waitress who has poor communication skills if its her correct name Alejandra. I am very disappointed in the way she handled this situation at the end she told me she would give me credit but thats besides the point I can't eat this food now. Also, both tacos dinners were ordered the same Carmen tried to be sarcastic and tell me oh I thought it was one dinner now its two well yes I ordered two dinners you have the receipt. Its not about getting anything free its about being accurate and efficient. I understand everyone makes mistakes I've done customer service all my life but learn how to deal with situations correctly. I didn't appreciate her talking with other staff in the background like mocking me or the sarcasm she gave me at the end of the conversation . Its ashame.just because of these two individuals I won't be giving comales my business anymore. Hopefully they give staff better training.

The food is very good and flavorful. The staff knows how to take care of there customers whether they are dining in or just carry out. I personally recommend the pork or chicken tacos but the enchiladas (green or red) and the burritos are also good. This Taqueria Los Comales I recommend whether then the other ones. The owner here knows how to run this business establishment as well as management

Out of all the comales this one has the best tacos for Years, the salsas are delicious and plenty of room to sit, they did change their chips though but it's fine.

I have been coming to Taqueria Los Comales for the longest time. Majority of the waitresses have been the same ones for the past 15 years it seems. The steak tacos and Spanish sausage (chorizo) tacos are amazing! Great place to chill also since they serve alcohol too. Only problem is the prices can be a little high to come often. Overall would recommend. 10/10 would eat here again.

Warning!!! 18% Gratuity is included!! They do not tell you this when you pay. Or show you the bill until after it’s paid. The food was good and the service was average at best. You can tell they don’t care about service because they are guaranteed an 18% gratuity. Because I value service I still left a tip on the table without knowing I’d already been charged. See receipt. Also $5.25 per taco.

I spoke to a wonderful young women by the name of marv I believe, very kind, understanding and reasonable person who has given me amazing service and despite if the food is good or not. I'm returning for the hospitality. But the food is good and I'm coming back regardless.

Overpriced, below average food. Don't waste your money. There are better taco joints in the city where you get more food that's better tasting for less money. $16 for beef soup where the veggies were clearly an afterthought as they were undercooked. I've been making this soup at home since I was tall enough to reach the stove and mine is much better. You can tell when someone takes pride in their work and if this soup is any indication of that, they could care less what they serve.

Horrible experience, husband order a broth of res. And it barely had meat but let's not talk of the veggies they put half of potatoe in there followed by a big chunk of carrot and squash. That's it. For the price they charge not satisfied, it was like the last plate of the pot.

Taco meat was over cooked. And very greasy. Food wasn’t all that. Green sauce didn’t have any heat at all. Rice and beans were prob best part but overall 1 star this place is not what it use to be.

Lady at front was rude. Server checked on us once. Had to call her over if we needed anything and were the only ones in the restaurant. Tacos had fat and feel like they are getting smaller every time I go back to try them.

This review is for this location only as they all have their own way of cooking. Los Comales is a taco joint and was not ment to serve dishes. I understand you need to tweak the menu, but when you mess up the only thing you’re supposed to be good at. You know it’s time for a change Visited this location and was very disappointed, had three tacos 1) Asada - how can you get this wrong! The steak was bland and very jerky and had lots of nerve which made it rubbery 2) Tripa - was descent but tasted a bit old 3) Suadero - is just not what it supposed to taste like Overall I feel they use the cheapest steak to save money, and lost what they had going back in the days, When Los Comales was one of the best in the city. To top it off, it is super expensive now. they help themselves to a 18% gratuity, oh you don’t find out until you’re at the counter paying. I rounded up the charge and I actually paid $6.25 for each taco, mind you I had already left a tip at the table and los Comales is supposed to be a fast food taco restaurant. It Will definitely be the last time coming to this location.
