People here are so friendly, personable, and generous! They're so nice! They sell homemade (?) SALSA that is super delicious although sometimes it could be super spicy. We lived close to this store and we always shopped here every time we hosted a party!! Salsa was always a big hit. We're sad we live far from this place!

They always have an impressive selection of beers, liquors and wines and I’ve been a loyal customer for years. Extremely helpful and friendly staff that treats everyone like family.

Truly the best bodega in Chicago — thank you guys for always being so awesome, helpful and friendly! Excellent selection including basics, produce and mind blowing tamales. Much Love.

I found myself returning to this mart that does a great job in offering some of the best selections of milk, cheese and produce for my toddler as well as wine variety for mama. It gets tiring to go to large chains like Walmart with poor customer service and cermak where most of their produce is not edible. I’m willing to pay the extra dollars for house warming service from all the guys, quality produce and home within minutes.

Very nice establishment, it is one of my favorite stores here in Chicago. It has a superb selection of liquor, beer, wine and its cheese fridge. The staff is very friendly and seems to know each customer for their hospitality. So, if you happen to drive past this area, why don't you drop by here at Puerto Rico Food & Liquors, and try their hidden treasures that adults can find, beers.

Love coming here! I moved into the area a few months ago and this quickly became a go to spot for incidentals. Great and friendly staff who are quick to help. Love Sundays as they get the BEST homemade tamales. Way more than a corner store and the prices are beyond reasonable.

Great selection of craft beers. Convenient when you need an ingredient quickly. Decent produce selection. Even offered to stock items I preferred. The guys are all so friendly and helpful. I miss living closeby. Best Bodega in town! Junior is a great guy!

For a small store, great selection of liquor, beer & grocery items. Staying at an AirBNB 2 minutes away, this is awesome shop, plus a family run business.

This corner store has an amazing craft beer selection. They're pricey, but this is the best local place to get great beer. They also make their own salsa and guacamole, and both are fantastic. While they updated their beer selection for the changing demographics of the neighborhood, they still offer plantains, cilantro, and other typical Latino produce. Plus the people who work there are fun!

They just raised their prices on wine. How do I know? The old prices are in white stickers and the new prices are in orange. The same Côtes Du Rhône was 10.99 and is now 11.99 (though same bottle is still 10.99 at Tabb down Rockwell). It’s not really an affordable local bodega anymore, and that really bums me out. Also, they do have their own hours and sometimes close early when it’s a food desert around here. They used to be reliable and super generous but maybe they’re struggling to keep up, not sure.

This place is an amazing neighborhood gem, every time I come in I find something new and interesting. They've got all of the normal convenience store items but they also take it to another level. They have an extensive craft beer selection for those who are into that, a few guys in front of me one day mentioned how they get Hop Butcher (seemed like a sought after beer) a day earlier than everyone else. What I really like is their cheese, charcuterie and wine selections. Lots of nice affordable options for cheese and meats but the best part is their wine section, great selections of pinot noir, sauv blanc, and other varieties from all over the world. They have a great pinot noir named Easy Tiger, nice and fruity. They also seem to have an extensive selection of brown and clear liquors if that's your thing, I was recommended to try a bottle of bourbon from a las vegas distillery but I can't remember the name, but it was a gorgeous bottle. They also have fresh fruits and veggies and make their own salsa and guacamole on Fridays, with fresh Tamales brought in on Saturdays. A tip from the staff working there, if you want frozen pizza it's in the back, you can have your UPS packages redirected there, and if they don't have something just ask they usually have an alternative. The staff are nice and the owner, Jr is really fun and eccentric, he's always dancing to the music and having a great time. A great one stop shop.

Great neighborhood liquor store with some unique beer and booze selection, plus some interesting food items also. People are super friendly!

The guys who work here would make it enjoyable even if there wasn’t an impressively diverse selection of beer/wine/liquor - which definitely isn’t the case! Love this spot can’t beat it!

Good selection of stuff, great people. They ran out of what I was looking for, but rang someone nearby to check and then gave me directions. 15/10. Nice selection of produce, groceries, as well
