I love this small Whole Foods! It's the perfect size for my neighborhood, and it has everything I need for my weekly grocery shopping. The produce is always fresh and delicious, and the meat and seafood counter is top-notch. I also love the selection of prepared foods, which is perfect for busy weeknights. The staff at this Whole Foods are always friendly and helpful. They're always happy to answer my questions and make recommendations. I also appreciate that they're always willing to go the extra mile to help me find what I'm looking for. Specifically the cheese section- they have amazing samples and I am over the moon with the selection here.

Love this whole foods location. Really sad their breakfast bar does not really exist anymore, they used to have the best grab and go breakfast. Still, their hot bar selection is pretty decent for lunch and dinner and the pastries are yummy. It is quite expensive though, 12$ per pound for the combined hot bar and salad bar is really overpriced, given there is also lots of items like mashed potatoes or salad greens that should definitely not cost 12$ per pound….

Nice store environment. Concrete ceilings provide a cool warehouse vibe. Cashiers are pretty friendly. They have a big produce section, however sometimes things can be a little less than fresh. Perhaps that's because they don't use chemicals. They have a great cheese and wine selection. Lots of grains also. Good music which makes it a pleasant shopping experience. Lots of self checkout registers so it goes fast to check out.

Definitely enjoyed visiting and exploring this Whole Foods location. Overall clean, organized and well-stocked with inventory and all types of food. Recommend this store to anyone looking to grab a bite to eat or for groceries for the home.

Whole foods always has consistency in their hot bar and pizza on a national level, from Florida to NYC to here in Chicago. The pizza isn't 100% identical to a NY pie but it's very very NY inspired and it's the same quality no matter where you are in America. If you like NY pizza you'll like whole foods pizza as it's quite similar about 98% similar to a NY pie.

Good place to buy fresh food and it was good within walking distance from my hotel. Very tidy and most staff inside market were kind but the staff at self counter was very exhausted and didn't help customers well. she looked like she doesn't want to do anything.

Excellent and most fresh salads in the salad bar My favorites from salad bar - keto friendly white sauce mushrooms - Mediterranean - hot and cold pastas - coconut encrusted flavored sweet potatoes

Nice location in the heart of downtown Chicago. Within a short walk of about a half dozen hotels. Prepare ahead and get your munchies there for your stay without even having to drive elsewhere.

I recently came in to this store to enjoy the salad bar. Once I prepared my salad I noticed there was no oil or vinegar in the salad dressing area. I spotted a young woman wiping down the counters and asked if she could please replenish the oil and vinegar for me. She proceeded to tell me they were all out of oil and vinegar. I reminded her that this was GROCERY store so they had to have oil and vinegar in the building. She told me that is true, but the salad bar is not allowed to use THAT oil and vinegar, just their own supply and they are out. I looked around to see if this was a prank being pulled on me and told her I couldn’t eat the other options, and she responded with a “sorry sir” and a shoulder shrug as if to say “oh well”. I put my salad down and walked out. This is customer service at its absolute worst. A simple and reasonable, easy-to-resolve customer request is met with a shoulder shrug. I won’t be going back to this story again. Oh well.

It’s a expensive supermarket… but i like to buy soup and bread. The soup’s price are: 4,99 small, 7,99 medium e 10,99 large. For the brazilians people, they have many good options of food like beans, rice, salad, chicken and meat. It’s a self service and the bowl is $12 per 1lbs. I’ve had breakfast in this place and it was good.

I do love this store overall but have kind of a complaint. Yesterday went to go get some French bread sliced only to find that they now have a self server slice machine. The machine is nice but I'm really worried about the cleanliness. I watched and nobody used gloves and there was no hand sanitizer near by. Everyone touching the same stuff which inevitably will touch the bread. Gross! Sometimes machines are good but I liked the worker that did this (cutting the bread) and it was much more controlled and sanitary!

Just really love the large and clear sign prominently displayed at the entrance stating that service animals are allowed but no pets are allowed. No ambiguity, unlike the other Whole Food Store at 3 W Chicago with a small sign amongst many on the window that one never sees. Clarity and transparancy are alway welcome!

I don't know which whole foods I'm reviewing but I have loved whole foods since I first went in one when I was 14 visiting my brother in Evanston. Their foodie/vegan/vegetarian options are great. They carry some of my favorite foods. Thanks Whole Foods!! Keeping it healthy!

Always a delicious 😋 experience at Whole Foods. I gotta the white fish with capers and olives, General Tsao Tofu and Cauliflower, macaroni and cheese, mixed veggies, and a kale and tortellini soup. I was so pleased with the taste of the food and the freshness. Chicago Whole Foods is a win!!!

I was absolutely blown away by this amazing store, it looks tiny from outside but when you get inside it is cavernous and packed with the most wonderful fresh foods. Abundant fruit, vegetables and even a hot and cold buffet style area where I picked up some soup and a full mixture of food… not to mention all the normal supermarket stuff! I wish we had these in the UK…!

Don’t even bother placing a pickup order from this location via Amazon. I have placed two pickup orders and each time was a disaster. Both times, the staff couldn’t locate the order and I had to sit there and wait while they packed it (even though the text messages and Amazon app said it was ready for pickup and I selected check in 10 minutes before arrival). This most recent time, they couldn’t locate the order because it went to catering. Their staff needs serious training on pickup orders and following the Amazon process it clearly outlines to its customers.

Bought my dinner here. I got 2 sides and 1 protein meal for $14. Broccoli salad was amazing. Staff was very friendly. Good cheese selection. Not cheap but good.

I used to love visiting this Whole Foods because of their vegan selection of donuts and croissants in their freshly baked goods section. Since the new year, these options are no longer there which is very disappointing.

I was anti Whole Foods for about 15 years. This place gets more and more amazing every time I go there. Beware, you could wind up spending like $150 for a hand basket worth of stuff. Great quality overall.

A very nice, well equipped, clean store with self service check out available. We tried the food and it turned out to be as good as it was expensive - very.

This is the greatest grocery store. They always have a great selection and the healthiest options. One of the better places to buy your daily needs. Whole Foods Market was a wonderful grocery store shopping experience. Very clean. uniquely organized. VERY reasonably priced. Super high quality, the employees are so helpful, professional and pleasant. Excellent customer service.

A clean decent, and reasonably priced store that will satisfy your food and general grocery needs when in this part of Chicago city. And definitely check out their 2-slice pizza while you’re there, I got mine around $7.50

I like this place, but my real problem is the manager. about a month ago, I had an interview with the manager Malik. we talked for a while in detail about a lot of things and then at the end he did extend a job offer to me. I was so happy. he said in a couple of weeks I would get an email for training. well I waited and waited and waited. today i call and say what's up? someone else tells me there are no open positions...i said, but he offered me a job...she said nope theres nothing... I said ok. i was very very sad. and still am. i was realllyyy looking forward to working here !!! I was really excited. I dont know why he would just lie to me about a job :(

Super big whole foods store. The pre-cut fruits are fresh and delicious as a snack especially in the hot Chicago heat! Perfect to eat along the river walk and along Lake Michigan during the late afternoons with the breeze blowing 😆

Decent Whole Foods but smaller than others . A lot of the times items are not in stock (Almond flour tortillas for instance).

This particular Whole Foods is especially busy considering it's location, setup, ambiance, cleanliness, treatment, and more. From the first time I came here I have loved coming back. They have almost anything and everything you could need or want. They are very huge on healthy eating options. The buffet area is the only area I wish they would pay more attention to. If you get there immediately after they put the food out it will be great. I unfortunately am not always fortunate enough to know when they will put fresh food out. Breakfast gets cold quite rapidly and eating cold eggs is not appetizing. The lunch and dinner food is quite extravagant and extensive. There is a very wide selection to choose from. Everyone in this location is friendly, helpful, and caring. I have never met one that doesn't want to go above and beyond to assist. Even the coffee shop and bar is friendly, and fresh. You never have to cook if you shop here. They have more than you can ever want. Great wine selection. Awesome fruits and vegetables. If you live anywhere in the loop or are staying in the loop this is the best place to go.

The floral department is the best! The woman who made our floral arrangements was so kind and helpful. I got the flowers for a work party and don't live near this location but I would return for flowers just because she was so lovely.

Not bad. Similar selection to most of their other locations. Prices of course are insane here. They did have some interesting sparkling tea options and decent selection of fresh fruit. Staff was also friendly.
