Burrito Beach located at terminal 3 of the O’Hare international airport is a great burrito place! Large shell with plenty of filling and very delicious. Customize the fillings. Staff was friendly too!!

If you are hungry and want to end that feeling, this is your place. I have never been here before and wasn't feeling it at first because they had a black guy doing burritos and I thought he didn't knew about anything about hispanic food. How wrong I was!!! They prepared me a Monster burrito and were very friendly. Definitively I recommend this place.

I was at the ohare airport and was in line at McDonald’s about to order but had to step out of line to dig out my wallet out of my backpack. I’m so glad I did because at that time I saw this place. I ordered the Miguel breakfast burrito. Definitely the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. So much flavor, everything in it went so well together. Made my morning finding a great breakfast at the airport thank you!

Exceptional customer service, fast, and tasty. I highly recommend the veggie breakfast burrito with egg whites. The coffee was not great but the food was exceptional.

Excellent burritos! High quality ingredients, generous portions, value for the price. Recommend: Miguel’s Breakfast Burrito

I got the char grill chicken burrito at the airport location. I think it's about $11. It's a big burrito for a small person I think I finished it after 2 meals. This one had the longest line out of all the other diners at the airport so I decided to give it a try. They also made it pretty fast but if your have short connecting time it may be pressing it.

Horrible. They claim to make a big bowl but they’re chintzy with anything you want to put in it. Tiny portions of meat, cheese, salsa, lettuce and anything else anyone wanted, while I was there. Every employee was working hard to add the smallest portions into the biggest bowl. This is the first and last time I ever dine there. I do not recommend them, at all. Find something/somewhere else to spend your dollars. I’ll never come back. Bad experience, overall.

Absolutely disgusting. I’ll start off with the food was of terrible quality, especially after paying over 14 dollars for a water and a bowl. I’m a vegetarian and if you don’t chose meat, I was told you still have to pay extra for guacamole. Which I did, and was given a tablespoon worth. The service was terrible, they were rushing me even though there was no one even in line. Please safe yourself the nightmare and go eat somewhere else. I try to support smaller businesses vs the chains (chipotle) and things like that.. but I really wish I had taken my business elsewhere so I didn’t have to spend 14 dollars to just throw all this disgusting food away.

Good, quick meal. Line moves fast. Chicken quesadilla was really good. Rice and Bean tacos were very bland, needed salt and seasoning. Have been here multiple times, and will visit again if given the opportunity.

✨VEGAN OPTIONS✨ It is actually impossible to find affordable healthy food at the airport and I don’t really trust airport meat, so it was amazing to find vegan options at this place! Not only we’re there good options but the portion/price ratio was amazing. I got a HUGE bowl that I didn’t even finish with double grilled veggies and grains that kept me super full. Highly recommend.

The food was good and the staff weren't unfriendly. My order was made quickly and the place didn't seem dirty from where I was standing. I ordered shrimp and they gave me a decent amount. No complaints.

Had an overnight flight and then a layover for two hours. Glad they open at 6 am because I wanted some hot food and there wasn’t much for vegan options. I got a very veggie burrito, added guacamole and potatoes to make a somewhat breakfast burrito. Were a tad busy considering they just opened but it’s at an airport, what do you expect. The burrito was huge! And had a nice mixture of everything. The guacamole seemed newly made and had a nice flavor. It’s located in terminal 3, concourse k, gate k4 + they have a military discount which is super nice. My total was $12.34 just for a burrito is $7.99 but I added extras. I was not disappointed! Definitely will stop here again if I’m ever at O’Hare.

We scoured terminal 3 and I promise you the tiny salad/smoothie outpost attached to Burrito Beach is THE best option for healthy, fresh, fast food that happens to be cheap! You can build your own huge salad bowl for $8-something taxes in. Unfortunately the dressings aren't clearly marked so there was confusion as to which were dairy/ egg free (vegan). The Thai dressing worked out.

This is the only place I'm aware of in ORD to get drip Inteligencia coffee. It's just $2, has significantly more body and flavor, and is way better than waiting in line at Starbucks at the foods court. The burritos are fine for breakfast or any other meal, but I wouldn't go out of my way. The coffee, however, is something I'd walk from a different terminal for if there's time.

Probably one of the best buys in the airport. Tortilla was Chipotle size or bigger, employees weren’t shy about stuffing it, and it actually tasted WAY better than airport food for $12. I’m a large and hungry man, so if you’re looking for the most bang for buck, this is a great option.

  • 5/5 Sarah M. 3 months ago on Google • 39 reviews New
Awesome experience, team was efficient and quick to get people through the line so they could catch their next plane. Man who started the orders was kind and funny. Had a shrimp and cheese quesadilla with chips and guacamole. All well made. Good place to stop if going through the. Chicago Airport.

  • 2/5 Angelo D. 3 months ago on Google • 34 reviews New
Honestly a bit disappointed in how the food tasted and how expensive it was, I mean I understand it’s the airport but $17 for a bowl with guacamole? That should be illegal, even sadder is there’s no airport employee discount which is crazy how I don’t know a single place that doesn’t give you one.

  • 5/5 Madilyn S. 4 months ago on Google • 18 reviews
Honestly, probably one of be worst burritos I’ve ever had. Definitely wouldn’t get it outside of an airport, but to fill up my stomach in an airport for less than $12… 5 stars.

After traveling for hours it was a relief to finally meet people who were warm-hearted and kind! Kudos to the only friendly staff at the Chicago airlines! After being in Ghana where everyone welcomes everyone, it was a sad shock to be shoved into the States by so many rude, impersonal people, but the staff at Burrito Beach made my day by being so fun, interested and caring. As for the food, it was bursting with flavor! Thank you so much.❤️

Was on a connector to Texas, stopped here. Had a good waiting line and short menu - a great sign. Got the steak burrito, added some good stuff and it was boss over any airport food. Get a lot for your money. Recommend!

Great burrito. Could tell it was going to be great based on the line up and the flight crew eating there. The line went quickly, and the staff were quick and efficient. Although there was a lack of personalization based on how busy they were. Give them a try if in Chicago airport. Right beside gate k4.

I got the rice bowl with steak. what's not explained is how much it costs to add grilled veggies, or what all comes with the meat vs chx vs veggie bowls. so basically added $5 for a spoon of grilled veggies. this plus a bottle of water $17. taste was very good. but I was expecting a bit less according to the board. maybe expected for airport food. just think costs should be more transparent

Located in the food court near the H terminal. Only giving it a three star rating today because the food was pretty salty (quite possibly the mixture I chose for my bowl which included Baja chicken, black beans and red rice). The guacamole was not that great in that it didn’t taste fresh. For the price paid, my bowl avg around $10 and $5 for the guac and chips) it’s pretty standard for airport prices and your typical burrito spot. Having said this, there are many good things about this spot, including the friendly staff, the portion sizes and the wide range of options: vegetarian, vegan and gluten free, plus a range of your standards like chicken, beef and shrimp. They also have a breakfast menu and some alcoholic beverages.

  • 1/5 Michael T. 1 year ago on Google
The food looks nothing like the photo. The shrimp “grilled to order” was precooked and just sitting in a warning oven. False advertising and disgusting.

  • 3/5 Erica T. 3 years ago on Google
First time eating here. I had the Cabo shrimp burrito and my fiancé had the Cabo shrimp quesadilla. Price was fair. For me flavor was bland. I gave it a three because the burrito was fulfilling.

Filling burrito at a really great price for airport food. Had a quick layover here and I was very impressed. The line was long and the employees were taking and managing orders very well. I'd definitely return and even go out of my way (time permitting) next time I'm at ORD

I have celiacs and they are by far one of the best at making sure they wash their hands, use new ingredients that haven't been cross contaminated, etc... they also have vegan and vegetarian options too. The owner is super nice and clearly cares about the customers allergies and food preferences. Kind of a walk to terminal 3 but worth it to me every time

I'm a return customer but I've only had the breakfast. The food is tasty and I appreciate the ability to really make it spicy with El Yucateco green sauce. The chorizo and egg taco is my go to, and gets you a flavorful hot breakfast in an airport for under $10. They also serve Intelligentsia coffee! The Prairie bar a few doors down to the left is a great place to sit and eat your food while you grab an adult beverage before your flight. 5 stars for service and atmosphere, because they keep the line moving and get you good, affordable food, fast

  • 2/5 Cul P. 8 months ago on Google
Had the Very Veggie Burrito. Good serving size and reasonably priced (sp. for airport). Problem was that there was no flavor. Salsa on the side was not any better. It was just vegetables in a tortilla. Although, will admit that it is a good healthier food option at the airport. Line moves fast.

I was pleased to find this at O'Hare, they had a few vegan options for me to choose from.

  • 5/5 Adela T. 9 months ago on Google
Good value, compared to other airport food. Vegetarian options. I totally enjoyed my goat cheese and bean burrito- helps that they put it in the squish-toaster right before putting it in the bag, so got a tiny extra yummy crisp. I couldn’t quite understand what one of the guys behind the counter was trying to ask/tell me. It’s a little loud and airport-chaotic but I’m glad I chose this one!

OMG!! I had a bowl with rice, beans, sautéed veggies, all the toppings including guac. Soooo fresh, HUGE portions and the best seasoning on the chicken. Burritos and tacos looked amazing, too. And also really nice staff. Two thumbs up!!👍🏼👍🏼😋🥣🌯🌮

  • 4/5 Robert G. 5 months ago on Google
The food was tasty. I had two different bowls there as I flew in and out of O'Hare. I do have celiac disease and they might not be the safest. The meat and the rice are pulled from the same container that everyone else gets their food so there is a potential for cross contamination. All of the toppings though are pulled from underneath the food prep area so they have not touched other items before and would definitely be gluten-free. I did not end up getting sick but there's definitely a good possibility of it. The staff is quite nice and try to accommodate by scooping things out with a bull rather than using the utensils that everyone else did. They also watch their hands and change their gloves before making my bowl.

Great experience! The employees were very nice to me and my kiddos. I wish I had gotten their names to give them credit. My shrimp burrito was AhMazZing! Zero complaints except the fact that I wish I could have it more often. Will definitely be my go to spot at Ohare airport!

A fantastic dinner option. Very impressed with the speed and kindness of all employees on 10/16/2020 I almost didn’t grab dinner here (it had the longest line in the food court) but I’m glad we did. The food was fresh, portions were great, and the employees were all cheerful (but speedy!) Not sure when I’ll be back through O’Hare, but this will be top of my list!

I worked out of O'Hare for a long time and my fav spot for food in the airport is Burrito Beach between in the food court where the H and K AA concourses split. I'm not there much anymore, but I still always try to stop by and grab one of their INSANELY good breakfast burritos every time I pass through. Yummy fresh food, efficient and friendly service! Thanks to Karen and all the brilliant people who work there for many years of delicious, reasonably priced food and excellent service!

A pleasant surprise for airport food. Very tasty and a nice twist on burritos with unique burrito fillings. Simple yet flavorful. The staff was friendly and efficient getting us in and out in record time without feeling rushed. I would highly recommend giving them a shot at satisfying your hunger and your taste buds while you travel

Extremely fast and efficient staff. Have great vegan options (thank you for that!). They even picked out the spinach (which I think is kale) in my burrito as the vegetables are already prepped. Love that! And of course, very tasty and reasonably priced. I paid less than $9 for the burrito. They are actually located at gate K.

825am 2/24 Karen P - supposedly the MOD as she was bossing around other employees, insulting them infront of your customers about their apparent slowness on their break, ignored the gentleman on the line who informed her my order came with chips and salsa. Rang me up and processed my payment without first confirming my order while trying to get drink orders for other people in line behind me. So when I was handed just my burrito and I stood there waiting for the rest of my food, she rudely asked me what I was waiting for. I said I ordered chips and salsa, the guy on the line confirmed he told her (which I'm also unsure as to why he didn't place the chips and salsa in my bag) and then wanted to stop the line process to ring me up again. Your employees are capable of telling their own break times without someone insulting them. The person who is in charge of ringing up guests should be focused on that instead of micromanaging and insulting other employees. I opted to not beg up again and walked away as I didn't want to subject myself to your employee anymore. Positive: guy on the grill was awesome.

Employees were quite rude (dismissive of simple questions), the food was bland, and the burrito bowl was not even closed when placed in the bag, proceeding to spill all over the bag and then table. A frustrating and unfortunate way to spend $10. Will not be returning.

There’s a manager who works at this airport location.. young woman. I’ve been going there for the past 3 years and each time I visit there she is. No smile, no emotion just straight to the point and she rushes you and doesn’t even give you time to think. No patience.her voice super unpleasant. I’ve never gotten a hello or eye contact from her. I also observe her interact with customers behind me.. still the same. When I go to the next person to finish my order and then the cashier they’re always so kind and sweet with a smile. This managers attitude has to change. I’m not really sure how she’s a manager being an example for others when she doesn’t display proper customer service skills. It never hurts to acknowledge the people in front of you and make them feel welcome. Besides that food is always good.

I have to rate this in two categories: One star for cleanliness. Four stars for average food quality over multiple dining visits. Let's begin with the bad....if there's one thing that'll put a customer off to dining at your establishment it's unsanitary conditions. On this visit I wasn't in a rush and had the opportunity to browse over the food assembly area, what I found is unacceptable. Above the open and/or covered food serving bins on the glass counter frame was thick grease with heavy dust. It was across the entire interior of the glass counter. Add to that old food particulates stuck around the base and you have yourself an unsanitary work station. See attached photos. For the heck of it, I inspected the other restaurant serving areas in the food court and found no similar issues. This needs to be addressed asap and the staff should be trained on proper cleaning and sanitizing of the entire serving areas inside and out. As for the good, well almost. Usually my visits here are without issue, on this occasion the spanish rice contained overcooked grains which made consuming my chicken burrito a challenge as I had to spit out the hard bits. Although it may be against restaurant policy, the kitchen staff should occasionally test for product quality by feeling and/or tasting the food. So for an average across all the times I've visit, there's a four star review potential.
