Good place to eat all you can eat Sushi in south loop. They have a large variety of seafood selections. A little bit slow in serving but very respectful waiters/servers. You should give it a try.

Great sushi place and well worth the visit. We thought we were hungry enough for all you can eat and ordered a couple rounds, and everything was great. Plenty of choice for sushi and alike. After we finished our hostess ran the bill and found it was a bit cheaper to go with the a la carte prices since we didn’t eat that much, so we ended up saving a few bucks. Glad we came!

We went there for all you can eat dinner and it was worth it. Probably one of the best all you can eat options in the area. It does get pretty crowded around 8pm so get there a little early so you won’t wait for long. Not my first time going there and definitely won’t be the last time.

Ordered two ramens for delivery. Average price for ramen in the city. Was expecting something different though 😔. The pork belly was tough, and when I went to bite one end, my teeth didn't bite through all the way. It was a disappointment since the pork belly is a delicacy I looks forward to when I eat ramen. Maybe they cook it differently here, perhaps cooked on a pan. The marinated egg was OK, a little too much on the salty side for me. My partner ate his whole ramen though, so maybe there is a crowd for this type out there?

I wanted to try this place for a few weeks now but was very disappointed. They have Hamachi Kama, which I love, but ruined it by covering it in some spicy seasoning. All it should have is salt and lemon. We ordered the "all sashimi" appetizer and it never came. My wife received her ramen and I got my Hamachi kama and four pieces of sashimi, but were still waiting on two special rolls (mango California and dragon). Sad to say they never came either. Tables around us filled up much later after we got there and they received their food before us... when I asked to speak to the manager he said he must've lost the ticket. Sorry but never coming back. There are plenty other Japanese restaurants in the area. I do not recommend Sumi.

I ordered online for pick-up, there was a free edamame for "first time" customer, and it was on the receipt. The scheduled pick-up time was 11:15 but the food was not ready until 11:55, and there was no edamame because "it is only for order over $30 and your order is $25". The sushi was okay, a little below average, the ramen was too salty, and the service was terrible.

The foods were okay. We’ve taken the all you can eat package. However, they provided a compulsory 18 percent tips. So you need to pay 18 percent more than the actual price. And the voluntary tips have to be paid extra! Modern day scam! I thought Japanese people considered tips as an insult. Don’t know about this one.

My favorite place for all you can eat sushi. The price is decent and the variety of food they offer for all you can eat is a lot. I love how they present all the rolls in a dragon boat. My favorite sushi roll is sunny.

Food was okay. Small plates were good enough for all-you-can-eat for group of two or more people. Solo dining could order regular menu if not rice comsumer :) Service was fine overall, except the lady welcoming and serving us seemed not to be a happy face... About 12 minutes walk from Shedd Aquarium. Street parking available in front. Recommended for food and atmosphere.

Everything was delicious! The flavors are really different, innovative and surprising. Definitely worth it to go to the All you can eat promotion because some rolls are small.

This is one of the best kept secrets in Chicago for sushi! All of the rolls taste incredibly fresh, the size of the rolls are great and the prices are awesome for what you get. They even offer an all-you-can-eat lunch special for a great price. Dining in is more "functional" than fancy, but the taste of the food while be more than worth the sit down or it's a great option for pick up or delivery because sushi "travels well." Highly recommended restaurant and always good when trying to figure out something quick and convenient to eat!

Excellent sashimi, maki, and hibachi (scallops were perfect). The mochi ice cream was really tasty, too. Service was a little slow, but forgivable with the delicious food. Seating is limited, but it wasn’t busy, perhaps because we beat the dinner rush. I would definitely go back.

Great party trays, nice value. I ordered two A trays and two B trays, that was more than enough for 25 people. Everyone loved it. Good communication and service. Will come back

Fair prices, good food, and nice atmosphere. Would be a nice place to go on a date; Especially since it is near the train station, Aquarium, and other things.

I was a little nervous when we walked in on a Sunday evening because there were not any other customers yet. We were pleasantly surprised! We were visiting Chicago and this was the first time we had taken our kids to get sushi. The Maki rolls were great and so were the Udon bowls. Such a neat little gem of a place. We were happy to see more people come in as we were leaving.

The pot stickers were the flavor and texture of cheap frozen microwave kinds. It was basically not even fried. They looked and felt microwaved. Not a toasted part on it If you want nice pot stickers and food go to Minghin Cuisine. Other than that the Ramen noodles were overcooked and the sushi was nothing special.

Food: 3.5 Value: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Service: 4 Avg: 3.4 The appetizers were so subpar. The maki rolls were pretty standard. I wish I hadn’t gotten any appetizers.

I don’t know why people rate this restaurant high. I purchased based on Google reviews and got very disappointed. We ordered 6 different rolls from signature and normal size plus Miso soup. Everything was very disappointing. LOW quality, NOT fresh material, basic/ low packaging for delivery. We are sushi lovers, but got disappointed with our experience with Sumi food. The taste is bad, and quality and freshness is no where. You can simply verify when you take a bite. Don’t even spoil your appetite and waste money.

They have hibachi to-go! I ordered the steak hibachi and it was delicious and a huge serving! Definitely got 2 meals out of it. I would return for the hibachi and to try one of their signature maki rolls. I picked up my takeout order around dinner time on Sunday and the place was empty. Please support this South Loop business.

My nine year old said this place has great decor and the salmon is very fresh and tasty. He gave 5/5 stars.

The server we had on the Sunday we went needed to improve their game! The restaurant was empty but, we had to remind them to bring our "come with" items!! The food is fresh and delicious

Mediocre or worse. Ramen was average with a hard boiled egg and chashu was hard and thick like a brick. Broth was the best part. Hamachi Kama was completely tragic and I usually love it. Covered with some kind of seasoning and drenched in sauce when it should be grilled with salt and served with lemon/radish. It showed up ice cold with a spoiled smell/flavor. I sent it back because didn’t want to spend my Sunday with food poisoning. They didn’t seem to grasp why I wouldn’t touch it.
