We came here on a Friday night and had a great time. We had a reservation, but it didn't seem too busy so you might not need one. We started with the oysters. They tasted amazing, but we were disappointed that there were only 4. We also got pizza, beets, and broccoli. The pizza and beets were fantastic. The broccoli was good, but not on the same level as everything else. Service and atmosphere were great. Overall everything was great except the price, which was a bit high.

Had a great time at Etta. Came for brunch on a Saturday and it was busy but I was able to get a table without reservation. The focaccia was a round load of bread, a little different than usual, but it was incredible, served with ricotta and jam. The Cinnamon Roll was to die for, probably one of the best I ever had. We also tried the diavolo pizza which had a nice sweet and spice flavor. The crispy potatoes were a great side. The only thing we didn't love was the chicken sandwich, it was good but it lacked a sauce or something. Overall I had a great experience and I plan to come back for dinner.

A solid 4.3 stars for their brunch menu. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with an order that was not up to par (Ill explain further). Ordered the soft scramble with tomato pesto, avacado and arugala. The scramble was definitely fluffy and accented nicely with tomato pesto, creamy avacodo and tart arugula greens. Toast is toast! The side of breakfast sausage was charred and had a bitter burnt taste, which they corrected by re-firing the meat and it was much better when cooked properly (to my surprise, complimentary). The sausage was herbal and fatty and juicy. I dont have an issue paying for the sausage because they did correct their mistake. But I respect their commitment to their craft and their customer satisfaction. Kudos to the management. Just a side note, I rarely return any food but the char was just too overdone. Lastly, the kouign-amman was a very good pastry. The carmelized base was sweet and sticky, the cinnamon and sugar on the top was nice. However, the flaky center could have been a bit more moist, was slightly dry but was still very tasty. Well worth a visit, the bar area is lavish and had comfortable high chairs. UPDATE: Made it for dinner at Etta and it was worth it to re-visit this Bucktown staple. The saffron agnolotti pasta was silky and pillowy. Filled with creamy ricotta in a flavorful sundried tomato pesto sauce. The tart arugula was nice contrast in taste and texture. Arguably one of best stuffed pastas in the City.

A spectacular dining experience in a fabulous Bucktown setting. The food had the right amount of spice to give it heat on a chilly December night. Try the roasted cauliflower or firey pie for a good warm up! The staff was fabulous and accommodating, and they were always attentive and so incredibly friendly!

LOVEEEE. Great music. Great atmosphere. Amazing food. The Celebration dessert was a perfect finish. Our waitress, Angelina, was perfect. I’ll definitely be back.

Delicious plates with trendy vibes and good service. I’ve been here multiple times and have loved everything we had. Some details: - I prefer their pastas over pizzas - the hype for the bubbling shrimp is justified - the spicy meatballs were a little over-salted

On this visit, Jessica R, our server was very nice and polite, got our order right, and took the time to explain the menu. The food was, and the drinks were as well. The second floor has an open patio to enjoy some sun during the summer. They have a large bar just in case you're just here for a drink. The decor is chic and cool, I like the ambiance. There is paid parking all around the main avenue.

Been meaning to stop in for some time, and let's say I did not expect the mood, the menu nor that service. Everything was so wonderful to say the least. Great servers, there was not a single thing we ordered that we did not like. Baked Focaccia is just simply a must have. Pastas are phenomenal! We also had chicken and whipped potatoes that were absolutely delicious. Unfortunately no room for dessert but next time I will.

The Etta chopped salad tasted super fresh and the vinaigrette dressing was perfectly spiced. I would say that I wish there was more smoked salmon on the salad to make it a little more filling. But the freshness of the salad definitely comes through and the ambiance is perfect for a brunch.

Had a great meal here, came around 5:30 with no reservation and was able to sit at the bar right away. Loved everything we had but the focaccia was a standout. We also enjoyed the ricotta pillows, oysters, mushroom ravioli, and snap peas.

Etta is AMAZING! Unfortunately, we were so hungry that I failed to take photos of the burrata, focaccia, and the wood fired chicken! Everything we ate was incredible. The flavors were amazing, and everything was very fresh. The highlights of the meal were the fire pie (we requested garlic to be added), the pork porterhouse, wood fired chicken (holy moly), and the focaccia! The service was extremely attentive, and the venue is wonderful. I can’t wait to indulge here again SOON!

What an amazing and cozy setting! We really appreciated the family style service it was like having dinner at home without the cooking and clean up! We enjoyed the ricotta pillows to share as a starter - 7 amazing cheese stuffed fluffy gnocchi with a tasty creamy garlic sauce. We the got the 40 oz beef rib family picnic and it was so amazing. Our waitress was very attentive as was the person that kept our water glasses filled and our table clean. The family picnic is something we’ll repeat, maybe next time with the pork! The house red and white wine were great options and complimented the flavors, but did not overwhelm them!

Went with a group of 6, our server recommended the wild mushroom pizza - which was delicious. The focaccia bread with the honey butter was definitely a hit with our entire table. We ordered everything to share, and I’m so glad I got the opportunity to try so much of the menu. Service was great and timely. Food came out hot and fresh. The drinks were all very tasty but I just can’t stop thinking about the bread. The sauce the bubbling shrimp was in was so smooth and incredible. This is a Chicago must-try if I do say so myself.

Great place to eat with friends and family. Was super hyped for the food becuase everything is made in house. Our server was amazing but it was kind of slow, maybe due to them being short staffed? We ordered a few appetizers, drinks and pastas. One of our pasta was too salty so we let our server know, without any hesitation, he sent it back and we got a new one. The new one was delicious. Couldn't have ended the night with a dessert and a celebration shot!

It is a great brunch if you are in Chicago. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday lunch, and we had a great time. This place has great ambiance, and we spent a few hours here without notice. The salmon salad and pizza I tasted were good. Loved the turmeric tea.

Had one of the best dinners here. Everything about that night was amazing. The vibes were great. The aesthetics were beautiful. The food was delicious. My friends and I came on a Saturday night and I was glad that we had reservations because every table was filled for the night. We were seated right away and the waitress was very helpful. For drinks, we got the Porrin & A Polaroid. The drink in the porrin glass was rose and we were given a film of polaroids to take photos with. At first, some of our friends were skeptical but the whole experience turned out to be so fun! You have someone else pour rose directly into your mouth and you take a picture to have that memory. As for the food, every single dish was delicious! Again, this was one of the best meals I've had in Chicago. I highly recommend if you're in the area!

**Updated review** WOW. That's all I gotta say... the food was PHENOMENAL! Service was spectacular, ambiance and music was dope AF, and the food.... you just have to go in for yourself. I'm stuffed and know I will be dreaming about this meal tonight. We will definitely be back and bringing friends.

We traveled from San Francisco and found this gem by accident. Open kitchen, and pleasant dining space with minimal decorations. Really enjoyed the fusion dishes, pizza and whole vibes.

Very good restaurant. We ordered pizza, burger and Ranchero for lunch. All delicious. Little pricey but, worth it. Servers were busy. Could use more help. Overall, will come back for the dinner menu.

Came with a friend and we ordered the sweet potatoes! It had an interesting sauce on them with a flavor I’ve never tasted before, not a bad thing! I ordered the vodka sauced pasta and it was delicious!

Spectacular service and even better food! Pizza was way better than expected. All the sides we had that aren’t pictured were also great. The potatoes were simply perfected and the banana bread cinnamon toast was just… can’t describe. Heavenly.

New Year's Day menu was okay. The aesthetic inside is so pretty! We ordered oysters, meatballs, a smash burger, a bloody Mary, a mocktail, and an alla vodka pasta dish. Will I be back? Possibly, but most likely for a girl's night for drinks. Not so much as to become a regular, everything was just okay, except for the drinks, they were great!

Oh their Neapolitanian style pizza 🤤 great food great service every meal is designed to share! The place is pretty pricy but worth the experience and when you have an open kitchen it always adds this extra warmth and trust.

Loved it! We sat in the upstairs outside portion, and it was beautiful! Definitely recommend the ricotta pillows, saffron agnolotti, and the whole branzino. If you normally don’t eat whole fish because of the bones, don’t worry because they debone it! We ordered the sweet potatoes, which weren’t bad, but compared to the other dishes we might not order it again. Overall, great spot for a good dinner!

Came here for dinner before going out for the night with friends and had a lovely experience. Our server was helpful and kind, even agreed to turn the heaters on the patio down since it had warmed up so much. All of the food was beyond amazing, delicious and special in every way. Great cocktails and a lovely experience overall! Highly recommend!!!

Three of us ate here on Thanksgiving and there was a special menu for the day. The food was delicious. Wonderful service. Very expensive. I was actually surprised by just how expensive it was. I don't regret it since everything was so great, but I don't think we will be doing it again. I would like to have dinner off their regular menu sometime though!

So, let's start with the positives: 1. Great ambiance. The indoor seating on the 2bd floor opens up into the outdoor terrace. It's lovely. 2. Music has a smooth vibe and it is doesn't down out the room. Now for the challenges: 1. Service- waiter was not hospitable and was not attentive. We felt rushed and some of the common niceities were not provided. 2. Food/Drink-There was two of us. We ordered wine, the caesar salad, gem salad (salads are shareable), roasted oysters and bubble shrimp. The salad were drowning in dressing. The shrimp and oysters were also swimming in butter and fat. Personally, I like to taste the natural flavors of my food.. I do appreciate sauces, glazes etc, but it was just excessive here. Lastly, the Food just wasn't very flavorful.

Went to Etta on a Saturday night. I recommend making a reservation if going on a weekend given how full it was. However, they did have some bar seating available. We ordered 3 plates: 1) my favorite, the charred eggplant, was spectacular; 2) the spicy meatballs were pretty good as well, full of flavor and the spice level was just right; and 3) the saffron orecchiette pasta was a let down, flavor was alright but the pasta itself was chewy. The service was nothing special. Our server was a bit condescending, which we didn't appreciate.

I have been here for dinner a number of times but this was my first brunch experience. Fantastic service as always and the food was all delicious. The server provided excellent recommendations for the whole table. Admittedly I did think it was a bit pricey for what it is, but that’s brunch in Chicago and at least everything is fresh and made in house vs other brunch’s churning out more generic dishes and experiences.

Wow! Such a cool spot that makes you feel you are in a modern ski lodge!!! Thank you Keith for making my birthday 🎂 special and the exceptional service!!! Taking the shot ski was so cool and the Polaroid photo keep sake was a cool touch! Not to mention you can cook smores right at the table! So cool!

Excellent cooking, nice wine list, casual atmosphere, fantastic service 👍 baked oysters; savory tomato butter & chili 👍 bubbling shrimp & pita: succulent, buttery & garlicky 👍 burrata & beet salad: big creamy cheese ball 👍 pig picnic pita: tasty fluffy pita dough, doner-style pork, all flavors and textures marry beautifully 👍 wild mushroom pizza: umami, crispy thin crust & balanced flavors 👍 halibut & clam chowder: fresh clams, big pieces of halibut, broth leans more brothy than creamy

Highly recommend the oysters. Flavor like no other. Great touch on the different chiles used in dishes

Came to etta with family friends to catch up! We were there at approximately lunch time and it was relatively empty and peaceful. We sat in the patio and when the sun really started pouring in and warming things up, the staff was quick to lower the shades which made the space the perfect temperature- hats off to them! I’m a big water drinker throughout my meal and not once did I have to ask for my water to be refilled, my cup was always full (definitely a huge help with the Chicago heat)! Moving in to the food- we ordered the oysters and focaccia with honey& ricotta cheese. The clams were very good, and the focaccia was served still nice and warm. Main course wise we ordered a variety of things. I’ll start with the pizza. We order two different ones. The margherita was good, there was nothing to complain about. I personally really liked the other pizza we ordered- the wild mushroom one. Both had very thin crust! Served with four different pizza garnishes on the side, the wild mushroom pizza with chili oil was the star of the meal for me. The rest of our party ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and the pig picnic pita. All plates were empty by the time we were leaving, so I’d call it a well chosen restaurant to eat. I will definitely be recommending etta to people!

Five stars. Nice restaurant. Booked it for my birthday. Unfortunately couldn’t book outdoor sitting since they had an event. Inside is beautiful too. Drinks and food were delicious. I’ve been there twice and both times excellent service.

Excellent and tasty brunch I have for a long time. Fast and intuitive services. Quality and tasty bloody Mary. Love the Focaccia ricotta cheese and really tasty mix jam. Best crispy chicken sandwich come with amazing seasonnig potatoes. Love spicy? Ask for habanero aioli on the side. Restaurant new normal 20%+tip and 3-5% extra charge for staff benefits which is customer responsibility.
