Took the Chicago Chinatown food and cultural tour. Our guide, Jeff, was awesome. He was kind and helpful, checking on the participants to ensure everyone was doing well. Jeff knows the history of Chinatown and the culture of the area so he didn't need notes as he gave us color about each stop. And the restaurant selections were fantastic. The tour exceeded my expectations.

Nate was our guide and there were about 18 people on our tour. He did a great job of keeping track of everyone, telling us about the history of the city, and some stories about the establishments we visited. I would recommend this tour for newer visitors to Chicago, and to repeat visitors who are not as familiar with the west side. We’ve done a few food tours in Chicago, but this was fun because we covered more ground, saw several neighborhoods, and rode off our delicious and generous servings of very different food offerings! Great tour!!! See below for some of our stops—I forgot to take pictures at Antique Tacos. 😞

My son (10 years old) and I went on the 9:30am tour and had an amazing time. Aside from it being an unseasonably cool day (high in the mid 70s), our guide Lou was knowledgable and friendly, and we felt like we were in "good hands" the whole time. He did a lovely job making sure we were safe and having a good time. I highly recommend Bobby's Bike Hike...AND asking for Lou as your guide! :)

We did the bike tour with Dan and it was great. The tour was with great people and Dan was very responsive to everyone and their needs. We had local Chicago foods and it was a beautiful tour. Definitely a must to go to this one!

This was mine and my husband's first time visiting Chicago together. I came to visit the Christkindlmarket, and I chose the Holiday Hike tour for its combination of food tastings and tour of the city. The food was full servings so quite filling after visiting three restaurants. We visited some key points of interest along the way, and our tour guide, Mickey, did a great job of educating us on the history of each location/meal we tried. There were 12 of us in our party, and Mickey helped to break the ice amongst the group. My only "disappointment" was thinking the samples would be from the Christkindlmarket since it said "seasonal samples" and had the photo of the market. Did get a Belgian Chocolate at the market, but would have loved a brat or pretzel. Still would highly recommend. Worth the investment.

Definitely worth a morning or afternoon. Great to see and learn about Chicago in a fun and healthy way. Easy, well organized riding and Gabe was very informative, funny and helpful. Learning and laughing the whole trip. Good for a family or individuals.

Our guide Joe was fantastic! We did bikes, bites and brews and it was a great, quick way to get sights and food in without traipsing everywhere by foot. The pace was just right, with plenty of time at each spot, and the group interaction entertaining. The ride was super safe (my 16 year old joined)…not once was I concerned about riding amid the traffic. Joe is a fun storyteller and engaging personality, thoughtful with his interactions and an enjoyable guide. I highly recommend touring thru this group!

The bikes are very upright for a hybrid but comfortable nonetheless. Easy checkin and out. Cool Looking t-shirts to buy. Biked 25 miles in the 4 hours and bike had no issues.

Brilliant tour today with Dan. We took the food tour, billed as four hours but actually 5. The bike pace was leisurely and the various food stop offs were universally excellent. We enjoyed pizza, beer, cup cakes, hot dogs and more beer! Great opportunity to see some parts of the city that we would otherwise miss, entertaining facts and history blended throughout and good to meet some of the other guests from different parts of the world. Thoroughly recommended.

I had an incredible time on Bobby's Bike Hike's "Bikes, Bites & Brews" tour in Chicago, led by our knowledgeable guide, Jeff. This experience was the perfect blend of adventure and culinary delight. We pedaled through the city's scenic neighborhoods, stopping at various local eateries to savor delicious bites, and sampled some fantastic brews along the way. Jeff's passion for Chicago's history and food scene was evident, making the tour not only fun but also educational. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this tour is a fantastic way to explore the Windy City's culture on two wheels.

Dan led an amazing tour of bikes, bites, and brews! I loved the trials of food, getting a beer near Wrigley, but my favorite was just the leisurely calming quiet bike ride back along Lake Shore. DEFINITELY recommend this tour!

This is a great tour! I had so much fun and our guide Joe was awesome! It's fun to get out around the city by bike and I loved all of our stops! Wrigleyville was the best!

What an amazing experience! I attended the Chinatown tour with my 8 and 10 year old kids. Jeff was our guide. This tour was amazing- guide, tour, info, food, and company. We tried so many new foods and saw things we never would have without the tour. It also gave me the confidence to stay and explore even after the tour had ended.

Great way to get an overview of Chicago food & downtown! Our guide Gabe was the perfect balance of engaging & informative. He was pleasant and seemed to enjoy leading our tour. He has great knowledge of Chicago, not just the tour points. He was fun without any of the corny jokes that sometimes come on these types of tours. The food stops were delicious and a perfect overview of the famous Chicago foods. We added the beer, which I recommend, even not being a big beer drinker. Highly recommend taking this tour!

I joined a biking tour led by Bobby’s Bike Hike. Having explored the central part of Chicago, I wanted to see the relatively less explored parts of the city, so I joined the Lakeside Neighborhoods Bike Tour. Our group was led by York, who was entertaining, informative, and really helpful as a guide. I learned so much about Chicago’s northern neighborhoods while enjoying the views and without having to worry for my safety.

Brooke was an amazing tour guide for the favorite foods of Chicago walking tour. She allotted for stops along the way to share some history, take pics, and look at the amazing architecture and landscape. She took the time to know our names and provided great recommendations. She checked and double checked any dietary restrictions. We made four food stops and several stops in between for the scenery. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes! Also…it’s a lot of food for one so we brought ziplock bags…I know I know super touristy but we are slow eaters and again it was a lot of food!!! Absolutely worth it! I highly recommend this tour and I would definitely do another tour with Brooke!

We had a wonderful time with Justin on the Chicago's Favorites Ultimate Food and Walking Tour! He was friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and found the shadiest routes for maximum comfort. The food was a great way to experience all the must tastes of Chicago in one afternoon. Would whole heartedly recommend!

Had a great Bites Bikes and Brews tour. I felt safe on the roads and enjoyed the sights and food stops. Brook made the tour very enjoyable and was passionate about the city and it’s food. I’ve never done a bike tour before but would recommend it strongly for anybody wanting to catch a bit of the city and a good portion of the lakeside trail.

What a GREAT TOUR! I enjoy biking all by itself but when you add in pizza, beer, and hot dogs what else could one ask for? Julia our guide was a ball of energy and a ton of fun for the whole group. She made all 10 of us feel like a family by the end of the trip.

  • 5/5 Jocelyn J. 2 years ago on Google
We did the Bikes and Bites bike tour. Literally the best way to tour Chicago. Our tour guide was Julia. She was so knowledgeable, funny, and such a ball of fun energy. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Our guide, Chloe, was amazing! Her knowledge, personality and humor kept us engaged and magnified the incredible food, views, and fun!

Wow, is all I can say! This tour was amazing. Brooke did a phenomenal job and was so professional. We made several stops that hit all the Chicago musts. Brooke did such a great job explaining the history of different sites along with some thrown in humor. Definitely take this tour and if your lucky to get Brooke, you will be delighted. Thanks again for an amazing tour.

Greatest way of sightseeing Chicago. Our tourguide Paul was just magnificent. I love traveling and biking, so mixing both of my hobbies was one of the best experiences ever. Took the bikes, bites, and brews experience and had so much fun...plus the beers and food were delicious. Also Paul took some pictures and they were just amazing. I totally recommend this!

Having been to Chicago many times, we were looking for something new & different to do. We decided to try a Bobby’s Bike Hike Tour, it did not disappoint! Our guide, Lou, was fun, friendly and informative! We saw so many different parts of the city we’ve never seen before, learned some interesting facts and enjoyed some delicious tastings along the way!! It was a great time!!

The Chicago Favorites Food & Walking Tour was a good time, and Gabe, our tour guide was really entertaining and knowledgeable! Would totally do this again, it was a great way to try Chicago favorites, without waiting, while learning some food history! Chefs kiss! Wish I had snagged pics of the delicious food, but here are some from the walk.

We chose the Chinatown Walking Tour and it was great!! York was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the people and buildings in Chinatown. The food and drinks were great! The amount of walking was an easy amount and gave a nice break in between each restaurants.

Fantastic tour! The food was great and Dylan was an amazing tour guide! We learned so much about the history of Chicago as well as the history of the foods we were trying. We also got a ton of great recommendations on other food and sites to visit in the city. I'm definitely going to go on one of their other tours that they offer while we're still in Chicago (Chinatown food tour 🤤)!

This was what felt like my 100th trip to Chicago, but I never get to see everything I want to on foot alone. Took the Ultimate City Bike Tour from Bobby’s. The tour allowed us to get outside and bike all around downtown and the lakeshore. It was historically informative and I got to see things I’d never seen before (Northerly Island specifically, which completely made the trek) and we got some good exercise. Rory was our tour guide and she was amazing! Would do it again and maybe try another of their bike tours too. I haven’t ridden my bike in years, but the pace and physical activity were no issue. Inspired to get back on my own bike now!

Great experience, Bobby and the team were great to deal with, and Paul was a very nice and informative tour guide. He made sure we were safe the whole trip with the wetter weather conditions, took great photos of our group, and had great information about the history of Chicago… couldn’t have had a better experience 😄

Excellent place to tour the city. The bikes are in good shape and the staff are very friendly. The place is behind the 540 building, it’s easy to missed. You have to go through the parking lot, and you get there.

This was our 2nd tour with Bobby’s. We loved it just as much as the first tour. We did the evening tour this time with Joe! Joe was great! He knew his city and had great passion for sharing it with us! There was a downpour just before our ride and we were worried about safety. But Joe reassured us that it would be safe and he delivered! It turned out to be a great ride with amazing food and fun stops along the way! Highly recommend this tour!! Thanks for a great time Joe! Looking forward to our 3rd tour next time we are in Chicago!

Really great food walking tour with guide Janine. She was very enthusiastic and we learnt a lot of history about the city in a fun way. She also gave us tips of what to see next. And if course the food was great, all the places we got to sit inside and was all organised and set up for us, great service from the vendors! I was traveling on my own but so were a few people in the group, fun group of people and even spent the rest of the day with some of them.

This was an absolutely fantastic tour. My tour guide was Jeff, and he is what made the experience. All the restaurants we went to were either Michelin star, or heavily awarded restaurants. All the food was delicious, and you definitely left feeling full. I loved the fact that our tour guide seemed to know the owners personally. It made you feel like more of a local in Chinatown than a tourist. What I wasn’t expecting, is that we also got a tour of the city outside of the restaurants, and we had a great history lesson to go along with. Jeff was an amazing story teller, and made it super enjoyable to learn something I didn’t know much about. For anyone considering a tour (whether you live in Chicago or are visiting) I would have paid double for the experience we got, and will absolutely be doing more tours through Bobbys (the customer service was amazing to work with as well, and very flexible). This made for an amazing Christmas gift. Definitely a MUST DO!!

This was amazing. My boyfriend booked this not knowing what it was. I unfortunately could not eat due to pre-surgical reasons. Brook was amazing and made sure that everyplace we stopped, I was accommodated with being able to take my food with me. Brook is very friendly and VERY knowledgeable and gives the right amount of expression when telling the history that really makes you feel like you’re being taken back in time. I would 1000% recommend brook as a tour guide to everyone. She really knows how to capture the history in such a fun way.

👍👍 Tour could have been a little longer. I say that only because there is so much Chicago Mob history to cover, and it had to be crammed in an hour and half tour.. 🫤 Well the tour was over by 4:00 and it was supposed to be over at 5:00. We didn’t see much, just up the shore line, not the stuff listed on the website. Not worth the money. There’s a deal, but only if you pay cash and the website doesn’t clearly portray that…we won’t do it again with this place. Gui...
