The displays of the Chicago Landmarks were wonderful! A fun filled day, the kiddo spent most of his time at the build & test area. I wish the build & test area were just a little bit more cleaner and organized. The kingdom quest ride, Merlin’s apprentice ride, pirate adventure island jungle expedition were all good.

Wow, is all I can say... to only be a 2 story building, there was SOOO much to do!! My kids (5,6,7&10) had a Great experience and so did I!! The staff was very attentive and friendly. The establishment was clean and just overall so fun. My kids were going crazy over the amusement ride In the middle of the floor. They had a movie theater, so we were able to watch a 3d movie, I could go on with how awesome this place is. If your in the area, It's definitely worth the stop.

Really enjoyed my time here with my family. My 2 year old daughter who's over 30 inches in height was able to do the two rides available. Although the ride in the playground was out of order was a bummer. There should be a discount since that is not an option for entertainment. The many different dioramas were awesome to see! I would definitely recommend this place if looking for something fun to do with the family on a very hot/cold day.

It was fine, I had higher expectations. My 5 year old loved it. Lots of places to build Lego and add to their existing sculpture. the displays were cool. The rides were fine. The 4D movie was very cute and clever. Nice jokes for the adults. The biggest disappointment was the store, it has limited options and I expected a larger selection and some exclusive kits to the location, not the case.

Dirty. Broken displays. Staff absent at posts. Lego building areas had cruddy assortments. Did i mention dirty. Rampant violation of kid parkour on apparatus’. Totally packed, ridiculous price for what was to offer. Use your money to just buy Lego at the store in the mall.

I'm very disappointed with how this place has fizzled in recent years despite COVID-19. It's very static/stale nowadays and very frustrating how many times rides are out of service or not functioning 100%. The attractions don't change... No temporary exhibits either. The staff is friendly and they did a great job with the safety protocols during the peak of the pandemic. The environment is nothing like the ads online...and it just seems really, truly overpriced now. It should be no more than $15 per adult IMHO. Today it was $75 for my kids and me?!? It's just not enough value plain and simple. They should not advertise things like Master Builder Academy if they aren't even available. The 4D theater is never 4D... Nothing extra ever happens during the "experience" ... No smoke/water/whatever... They are short 3d movies that need updating just like the theater. The bricks seemed dirty today, my friends. My strong suggestion: post online what is out of order BEFORE people arrive so they can make their decision ahead of time. "Sorry for the inconvenience" is BS during times where gas is $6/Gallon. This is not at all how I imagine a place that is branded by LEGO to look and operate. Corporate needs to get involved.

Definitely a one-of-a-kind experience and my boys who are 2 & 7 years old absolutely loved it. First time ever visiting here was this past March during spring break which was most likely better to go during the week vs. any given Saturday. Plenty of neat exhibits, rides, a movie theater and building opportunities for the kids. My boys didn't want to go on the rides when they were there though, just wanted to build. Great year round family fun at fair prices at a good location near Woodfield Mall and will mostly be back being my boys mention it from time to time.

I took my grandson to Legoland Discovery Center 10/6/23. He is obsessed with legos. He was ready to leave after about an hour and 20 minutes. There were some pretty impressive Lego displays on the ground floor which caught his attention for about 20 minutes. We then headed upstairs for some interactive play. He was done in an hour. We spent about 15 minutes in the gift shop. The problem is we drove just over 200 miles to get there. It just really wasn’t worth it.

We had so much fun here. Easy to find and navigate to, plenty of parking. So much to see and do here! We hit all of it I think, except the Ninjago section. All over there are places to build, activities and the food spot is good. The magic ride and the 4d cinema we're probably our favorites, the rides were fun and the play area is big enough for everyone. It is a great family day adventure, for all ages. We had as much fun as our kiddos did! The stamp adventure is well worth the 6 dollars too. Just make sure little hands are helped, we did get a little pinch but it was taken care of in a timely manner!

Lego land is a cool experience for the little kids. I don’t know if i would take a kid over 10 here. The activity pass isn’t worth the $6. You get this lanyard with a scavenger hunt on it. The kids wasn’t really into it. Could have saved that $6 for one of the actual activities they had. A vr game and more. My favorite part was the upstairs with the play area. After i got my Starbucks cofee, i sat and watched my daughter run around with other kids. Really talented people whom built the Lego displays. The navy pier was my favorite.

This place is the real definition of fun. All I can say is that this place is amazing and the kids really enjoyed the whole time they were there. The place is somehow clean despite the mess that the kids make when they are playing. The place is also a good spot where the kids are able to have pictures with those wonderful displays, for memories and all. The already built legos inside were really cool and a great inspiration and model for the kids who really love to build those kinds of things. The most important thing here is that the kids are safe and they were able to have fun with the activities they did inside this amazing place. This is just such a wonderful and amazing place for kids. Every minute of the kids' experience inside was precious because I could really see the smiles on their faces, which really proves that they love being inside the place. If you want your kids to also have fun and enjoy themselves aside from the park, I highly recommend this place.

It’s a great indoor place for children. They require all adult visitors accompanied by a minor(<17 yo). This makes sense to me after our visit because they literally have little to nothing for grownups. I would say if you have kids in the range of 3-10 years old who loves Lego, you would want to spend hours in here. Unlimited 4D movies and rides with unlimited lego games. Low energy requirements for the caregivers/parents while the kids enjoy their time. On the second floor we found a “Starbucks” which has limited items. Snacks are also available to purchase in here. Parking is easy and it’s located in a plaza with many shops. I took one star off because the admission tickets are expensive for the amount of things we can do in this place.

Great time here. Kids were enjoying the rides, 3d movie, making Lego shapes, jungle expedition. Mini land of Chicago mesmerizing view for adults and kids. Basic ticket was reasonable too. Parking is free and lot of parking was available on garage as well as open parking lot. Great job streets of wood field and legoland.

Visited today 12/10. Place it not worth money. Look for reviews with low rating.all telling the same thing.good display of Chicago and jungle theme but not much activities to do. I regret not seeing the review before. It has 2 indoor rides last for 5 min. 4d movie not working during our visited. Lot of legos for open play which kids can do in their own home 🏠.We paid 24$ per ticket. Not worth.

We went on Monday and it was such a great experience. We are definitely going to be going back. The dragon ride was very fun that we went twice. Upstairs is great they have a cafe but it’s mostly snacks and drinks no real food.

It’s too expensive for what it has… things are the same as the way they were 10-15 years ago. Even the life-size Lego displays are dirty, peeling paint, or discolored. It’s disgusting. It’s basically a giant Lego store where there are a few activities, a play place, and tables to build Lego creations. You are paying so much because it’s Lego and that’s all. You are done in 1-2 hours. I’d recommend going to a children’s museum instead.

It's a very fun place to be with children. Mesmerizing place! Affordable.

Expensive, and I expected it to have more attractions or games for the kids. The V.R is separated from paying the entrance, no one offered to take our picture at the entrance, and the tables where so dirty when we went to sit down.

Love all the activities. Need better maintenance. TWO rides broken down and the airplane ride the pedal fell off and there are only three rides. It took 10 minutes to get the maintenance man there. Too many thing not opened. 4D movie was very fun. The virtual ride was great when working. The gift shop was great. Bring alot of money, very pricey. Pictures package was great and pictures beautiful. Dont know if I would go again unless the standards were improved. Snack bar was good I just got a coffee late. If you have a person who has a walker or wheeled chair the floors are scattered with many lego pieces. Love the bathroom door paintings. Depends on what package you get is how high the price gets. The employees are very friendly and helpful.

Clean and Very friendly staffs. Our toddler loves this place. He loves the play house , build your own lego area, enjoy a personal cheese pizza on the second level. We enjoyed the Downtown Chicago built with lego blocks, jungle on the first level . We didn’t go in the ride located next to the jungle. I recommend to get there when they open possible, otherwise it gets very crowded.

This place is great for kids... if they are into Legos... great rides for entertainment but not worth the price... also why are you charging adults the full price to watch our kids as they enjoy this experience... at least gives us an adult ticket at $10 not $25 to watch kid

It's really nice but for $25 per person. I could've had other experiences that are inclusive in age. Lego is appropriate for 11 and younger at best. All the parents looked like they were being tortured.

This place was super cool. It was perfect for little kids. Three stars because it’s only two floors so it was a little underwhelming once we got upstairs but it’s actually so much to look at. The best part was the actual characters. They weren’t made out of lego, but they were block styles which made them look like they were. Overall its a great experience

Fun experience. My partner and I did the building three figures (for $12.95) as part of a small date night we did. We also grabbed some of the small miniature blind bags that are about $5 and one of the Halloween mouse/cat sets pictured. We felt a bit crowded because it was a weekend though. The Lego keychains didn't have a price on it. It said 3 for 16.50 but didn't say the individual price on it. We grabbed one as a gift though and it was about $7 or $8 so three for 16.50 is a good price if you wanted them. There is an experience for kids to the right side of the store. And parking wasn't hard for us to find.

Great fun. We didn't give it 5 stars because some major attractions weren't working. The Kingdom Quest and the 4D movie were awesome. The bathrooms are immaculate too.

We had a great time. Everything was clean, and the employees were helpful and friendly. All rides were working, and the kids can’t wait to return. I’m not sure WHY anyone would rate this based on whether or THEY had a great time as an adult, given it’s designed for kids. As far as I can see on the lower reviews, the parents seemed underwhelmed while, “the kids had a blast”. Anyway, it’s a great place to kill a few hours and maybe even return on an annual pass.

If your kids are into Lego, then they will enjoy this trip. Spend time with the lego building areas to maximize the experience, and the 4d short movie was great!

  • 3/5 Angie L. 1 year ago on Google
I think that we were expecting a better overall experience for the price of entrance. We got the all access pass which wasn't worth it - just stick with the general admission. I would also say that this is best suited for kids 10 years old and under. It was really cool seeing all of the large sculptures but it wasn't very clean throughout the space. I could use some freshening up. The 4D movie was a lot of fun!

Nice little place for young kids to spend a couple of hours. We went late Friday evening, so the queues were small and hardly any wait times for the couple of rides there.

Decided to take a little family road trip from Indiana to Illinois. We surprise the kids with going to the Legoland Discovery Center. We all had a good time it was fun to say the least. What's important is that the kids loved the surprise. And you have so many shops that you can go shopping afterwards

Even though I didn’t not really enjoy my self (27) my nephew and niece (4&3)had a great time. Place kind of small only two small floors. Everything in there was pretty cool because of the details and it’s literally all legos!!!!

Great place for smaller kids 2-6. Place is small and in one hour everything can be seen. A few giant lego sculptures. A basic food ( cheese pizza, nachos, soda, juice, cookies, etc) in their tiny cafe. Small playground inside, a few rooms in which kids can built stuff. Cute but i would not buy a season pass. Sorry

My family loved this place! My son had just turned 2 and there were tons of things for him to do & stay happy! Recommend to all parents of little ones! I did not take many pictures, there is a lot more to do then play with legos.

A little smaller than I expected, located in a strip mall. My young kids had a lot of fun. I’m not sure why they charge adults entry since most of the place can’t even really be used by adults or even older children. My 5 year old and 7 year old had a great time and we would probably do it again, but my 12 & 14 year old niece and nephew came with and would not have enjoyed themselves if they weren’t playing with their littler cousins. I don’t want this to sound like a negative review, we did have a good time and would probably go again if we could find a good discount, but I just want to make sure people know this is not for adults or even older children. I was disappointed that out of the over $100 spent for admission alone I paid $50 ($25 a person for 2 adults) for my husband and I to watch our kids play. I have no issue with the $50 we spent on the kids because they had a great time! I’d like to add I wouldn’t recommend the $6.50 each activity pack that is an add on. Kids didn’t even notice let alone want to try to find the stamps to fill in the booklet.

Had a very nice time here with my girls. Went once in 2016 and again in 2022. Was really looking forward to the “mist spray” during the 3-D movie but was told it had been halted as a result of Covid.

  • 4/5 InAmberClad A. 1 year ago on Google
It was fun. Definitely great for kids. It could be cleaned a little more often but with so many kids running around who can keep up. Some of the attractions could use a little repair. Children had a blast.

  • 2/5 Elvira M. 9 months ago on Google
Waiste of money. Half of the attractions were close and the rest of the playground was dirty outdated for $54 dollars I could had done something better. Definitely not worth it and the other attraction inside was $6 dollars extra. Super disappointed if this Lego. We visited every Lego place in the us and this one so far is a no no.

  • 4/5 D W. 9 months ago on Google
Perfect for kids 4-9 but pretty much tops out there. Worth a few hours on a weekend when nothing else is going on. The gift shop has inflated prices, so just make note of what you want to buy and order from a big box or AMZN (haha yeah right, you ain't getting out if there without buying something 😂).

  • 4/5 Cheryl H. 9 months ago on Google
Lego land was fun. Filled a couple of hours of time. I wish they would have provided instructions for projects to do with the bins of legos available to play with.

  • 5/5 Barbara H. 1 year ago on Google
This was my second time at this location, but the first time I brought my own kids...6yo, 4yo, & 2.5yo. It looks like they changed a few things for the better since the 1st time I was there with an ex & his young kids from a previous marriage. The rides that they have are few but the kids def loved them & rode them multiple times. The park/play area upstairs kept them busy for HOURS. We went on a Sunday afternoon when the Bears were playing so it wasn't as busy as it can normally be, which was nice because there were enough kids there to interact with mine, but it wasn't over-packed chaos like I saw the 1st time I was there years ago. I highly recommend going there if you haven't. Also, check A around online because there are often coupons or discounts available, which makes going even more appealing to us adults. 😁

  • 3/5 J B. 10 months ago on Google
They had some cool Lego kits, including a retro Atari gaming system and a Millennium Falcon. But $25 per person to walk through the Legoland playground is simply absurd. I think it is actually a litmus test to separate those who know the value of a dollar and those that have no clue (or recently won the lottery.)

  • 1/5 Molly B. 1 year ago on Google
Tickets were 2 for 1. So it was about 55$ for the 3 of us. However we did the whole place in 55 minutes. The play area is really over crowded and designed for little kids, so the older ones didn’t want any part of it. There are neat things to see. All and all, it was good bonding time, but not worth the money for us. At least there’s free parking.

  • 3/5 Rob C. 10 months ago on Google
I really wanted to like this place! I’ll start with the good. My kids did enjoy it and overall had a good time. The city was great to look at with some cool details. Even though there were a lot of people there, it didn’t feel cramped. For the price, I felt it was lacking. My kids enjoyed the build a car ramp activity the most, but it took a very long time to find the pieces listed in the instructions. There was one ride open which had three blasters broken out of four. Some activities required additional payments which just seemed off putting. We took our time and finished everything in just shy of an hour. Again, I really wanted to like it as I love Lego as a product and company. I just felt like this place fell flat.
