Weird Chicago Tours

Tourist attraction Bus tour agency

😠 Way too long, unnecessary time on the bus, a couple of interesting stories but they dragged on and on. This tour should be an hour or two tops, not three. It was really disappointing the night before Halloween. The tour guide was well memorized but didn't seem knowledgeable. She didn't read the crow... People often mention tour, Chicago, time, guide, history, stories,

Way too long, unnecessary time on the bus, a couple of interesting stories but they dragged on and on. This tour should be an hour or two tops, not three. It was really disappointing the night before Halloween. The tour guide was well memorized but didn't seem knowledgeable. She didn't read the crowd well--nobody seemed interested. Other than the hotel and river stops, nothing was interesting about the physical locations we visited. I would not recommend this tour at all. Waste of three hours in Chicago!

My Husband and I went on the Haunted Chicago Tour on 09/30/2017 with Crystal as our tour guide. We went to 5 locations in 3 hours. The tour was not scary at all and I found the information really lacking. We spent a lot of time standing around in the Congress Hotel where the tour guide told us that she had so many stories she could only pick three. I would have liked to hear much more information. Instead we just waited in the lobby for her to tell us it was time to go. It was annoying. At the end of the tour, the tour guide made a statement about tips not being required, but always appreciated which I thought was rude. We finished the tour disappointed and will probably seek out another company for future tours.

Everything I expected from a tour with the name "Weird" in their title. The tour had ghost stories, true stories, made-up stories (which Tour Guide Kevin later admitted was just him kidding around), and even a heartwarming story. You will be getting out of the bus and standing outside for a few minutes at each stop on the tour so dress for the weather. There is 1 restroom stop during the tour. Use the restroom at McDonald's (where they pick you up) before the tour. * Some people on the review section are whining about the tour... What did they EXPECT from a "Weird" tour? C'mon, people! Get it together! LOL!!

The tour was awful. Our guides about half an hour talking about the Iriquios theater fire and didn't mention a single ghost. We hung out in the lobby of the Congress Hotel for an amount of time that seemed never-ending, then she went all-in on room 441 for about an hour. She spent about 20 minutes bragging that her granny was one of Al Capone's horizontal employees. Good grief, by the time Ithe tour was half way over, I wanted to fling myself off the bus .

Took an awesome ride through the downtown area, made our way to Hyde Park and got to see where the world's fair was held and a great educational experience about the Devil in the White City. Eric was an awesome tour guide and recommend checking this out! If you are planning to go-check out the book first!

Despite freezing temperatures, we had a fantastic time. Our tour guide was energetic, exciting, and passionate. Having grown up in Chicago, it was fun to learn new things about my city. One of the best parts was how Eric got the audience involved reenacting events. The tour stopped at the Congress Hotel with some ghost stories.

First time on any Chicago bus tour for me, eventhough I live here. Loved Weird Chicago Tour Devil in the White City. The bus was comfortable and clean. The best part was our tour guide Eric, he was energetic, funny and so educated. He is truly passionate about his knowledge of Chicago history and the story of The 1893 world's fair and it's many underlying secrets...

My fiancé and I have done nearly all of their tours. I loved all of them, especially the H.H. Holmes and Speakeasy tours. I definitely learned a lot about the city, also.

Took Devil in the White City tour. Very informative for someone who never researched H H Holmes not so much for anyone who's seen a documentary or two. However, even for those who know it all there are stops on the tour that pepper in other fun historical bits. Good way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Saw the haunted history tour tonight, and had a lot of fun learning about Chicago's haunted history. Eric was great, and would definitely recommend for anyone who likes history, or is interested in things related to paranormal activity.

Ghosts, gangsters, and Chicago history! I have enjoyed the bus tours (devil in the white city, gangster, & haunted history) and the shorter walking tour. I love the Congress hotel, and I also loved going to real former speak easy Simon’s in Andersonville. So fun! The Japanese gardens are beautiful. The guides are informative and funny and take you to interesting and unique places. Great for both visitors and Chicago’s own, I always have a good time!
