Came here for breakfast with my family. We loved the chicken and waffle. Also, the chicken pot pie was so good. Definitely will come back to try their fry fish Friday and shepherd pie. Parking was ample in the plaza. Will definitely recommend to friends and family to go to metro diner.

This place is solid! Fun menu options, the food and drinks are good, affordable, and it's a nice family spot.

We did reservations online 15 minutes before we got there walked in the door and got seated immediately at 10 AM on Sunday morning. Kathalee was our server & she was so amazing. She even noticed that I dropped my spoon for my coffee and brought me another one with clean napkin within minutes. I wish I could offer more than five stars this up fantastic!!!

Upon walking in, you feel as if you've stepped into a totally different era of time. People are buzzing and there's music and the Delisiosooo smell of food. Their menu is diverse and includes Hispanic cuisine, too! Their staff was so welcoming!

Went to breakfast at this spot in Granger, In. I tried the chicken on a biscuit . I like how the breading wasn’t too thick! Great flavor ! Also Pictured is a brunch burger and breakfast nachos . A great place to check out if you’re in the area !

So my 15 year old and I found this wonderful place from Google Maps. The food here is fabulous, Bob the manager and our waitress Christina are fantastic people! The atmosphere is so adorable! Will definitely be back many times as we're in the area every other month.

The food was good. I ordered the meatloaf. I wish the waitress had told us about the specials like the pumpkin options. I didn't see them written on their boards until after we already ordered and had our food.

We really liked this place. The food was really good and the prices were reasonable. If I lived closer, I would go back regularly.

Very happy with my experience. This was the first time I have come here and was super surprised. I ordered some of my favorite items: Mac n cheese and chicken noodle soup. I didn't have very high expectations. I was fully expecting a bowl of Kraft Mac n cheese but was genuinely surprised when it wasn't and was very good. My best friend enjoyed the Mac n cheese so much, she had to get some of her own. The chicken noodle soup was one of the best bowls of soup I've ever had. My best friend ordered the Caesar salad and green beans. She said the green beans needed some salt, but other than that, they were genuinely delicious. She enjoyed the Caesar salad, eating most of it. The atmosphere is so comforting and welcoming. I was shocked that when I walked in, there were about 5 to 10 tables of people. The staff were very friendly and so approachable. For two Mac n cheeses, a bowl of green beans, a Caesar salad, a bowl of soup, and a Coke, it was only $25 excluding tip. They as long offered for us to take food and drinks to go. I really enjoyed that they have different coffee and ice tea flavors daily, as well as soup of the day. I can definitely see myself becoming a regular! Will 100% come back!

Wow! We had an amazing brunch at Metro Dinner! The waiter Christina was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. The food was hot and fresh amazingly delicious. The memosa where perfect for the time of day and the atmosphere was phenomenal. The food prices are reasonable! One more thing, the womens bathrooms were so clean! We will Definitely be going back!

I went here with some friends. The food was very good. I had chicken and waffles. The portion size was huge. I barely ate a quarter of it. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The spicy syrup was delicious. If chicken and waffles is what you are looking for id go here.

This was our 2nd time here, and the cinnamon pancakes are delicious! The only issue this time was our server. She was too busy with her phone. We definitely will be back.

It sadness me to say today (6/17) was the worse experience I had there. 1st they myself, my fiance and my brother in law at a table, where you could barely pull out the chairs. Then my fiance order was wrong. The waitress seemed loss. I have been here before it was good. But today was the first time for my family. Why would the waitress walk us to the table thru were the servers get there food? It was disappointing.

I was really disappointed with Metro Diner, especially since it had such good reviews. My hash browns were undercooked, as in, I was taking bites of raw potatoes. Prices are expensive, and portions are very small. Service was okay. The dining area was dirty, food all over the floor, and crumbs on our seats. I would not return.

Simple, fast, and delicious food. Metro Diner is a great restaurant for breakfast or lunch. The food is excellent and even when they are busy, the service is friendly and quick. Do not hesitate to enjoy a meal here.

I’m normally an omelette guy but I HIGHLY recommend getting the fried chicken Benedict. Glad I went out of my comfort zone on this one. Great food, nice, fast, friendly service.

I stopped here for a late lunch at 1:30 pm and I was seated right away and given a menu. My server came right over and took my drink order, and I also placed my order. I started with the cheese broccoli soup along with the Hot Turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, steamed green beans and cornbread stuffing. She brought me my soup right away and it was very cheesy. I like cheese, but this was almost too much. It was also very thick, so closer to a dip than a soup. The Turkey was sitting on top of the stuffing with the mashed potatoes, Turkey and stuffing covered in brown gravy. The gravy had a different smell to it, it didn’t smell bad, but it seemed off a bit. When I tried it, everything tasted just fine. The turkey seemed to be hand cut. There was a large piece of fat along one edge of a piece of Turkey. Outside of that, it was an OK meal.
