Visited the dinosaur drive thru. It was great but takes a while to get in and get to the display area. Make sure your kids have patience. It could be a while before you hit the rest area. The display was average but couple of dinosaurs were really good. I wonder if visiting post Sunset is really pretty with the colorful lights. Definitely a one time visit! Check out the photos

Many of the buildings are a bit rundown and you can tell are quite old but the Ribfest event over the weekend was awesome!

Dinosaur adventure would have been good for kids if it wouldn't be for the 55 min wait once you get there just to get to in. That's with a 2 hour window that you're suppose to show up. Got there at 5:50pm for a 5-7pm time slot. Kids are getting hungry but I'm stuck in a car. 😠

I have been going to the Fair for yrs. This year was sooo disappointing. No demolition derby. No bull riding. No raffles. No live music outdoors. No carnival rides for adults. No beer tents. Just a few food tents and a quarter of the animals. A whole lot of pickleball, if you are into that. I don't think too many folks go to a fair to exercise and work up a sweat. Bring back the fun!!!!!

So we came here today to go to their animal expo to see all the little animals and reptiles. Came around 11am so was busy but not too busy. Found parking right away and didnt have to wait long to get in. Wow they had a lot of reptiles there. Snakes, geckos, dragons, chameleons, frogs, turtles and more. They also had a small section of puppies and kitties, and my brother actually left with one of the kitties. Overall we spent only about 45 minutes in there but that was plenty enough time for our almost 3 year old. Thank you!

The grounds are more beautiful each year. Don't miss the butterfly garden. The county fair is full of fun things to see and do for all ages.

A decent hotel with some plumbing issues. No hot water. Otherwise kind staff and good accommodations.

We were there over the weekend for Indian pow wow. It was tight there was quite a bit of people there and the booths where people were selling their wares were along sides. The dancers that were there they were very beautiful the regalia was amazing and the participation from the audience was very nice. The down side was that they only had two food vendor one was selling Mexican food and only one selling native American food, it was located outside and it was raining!! They were so overwhelmed with the orders they had to close down for an hour just to catch up!!! Please next time have several native American food vendors.

I guess inflation strikes everything.. not just food & gas. Hubby wanted to stop by the plastic toy show event yesterday & it was $7 to get in. Seriously? The place was jam packed so they definitely could take some of that money & fix the gawd awful potholes that lined the entrance. It was absolutely ridiculous!

$10.00 per ticket to get in haunted flea market. Too much. ( I may be mad, because my health only let me stay an hour. Bone cancer with a side of hernia). My wife and son purchased tickets without telling me the price. I feel spending $10.00 to go in expecting to spend another $100.00 or more was just too much even if I was healthy. Bummer.

My daughter and I had a great time. Her first time this far north (we live 5 hours south of here). Hopefully coming back for the October flea market.

Wheaton Halloween flea market & craft show was so much fun for this first-timer ! Huge variety of sports memorabilia, clothing, household goods , decorations, antiques, crafts, yummy goodies & sweet treats and everything vintage you can think of! You can find everything here...clothing, vintage memorabilia, crafted candles, clothing & so much more ! It was great to see families in costume having fun, making deals and enjoying the yummy treats ! I'm definitely going to make this an annual event!

We went to check out Comic-Con. It was smaller than the one we normally vend at in Wisconsin but still nice. Bathrooms were clean.

If you like toys, comic books, sports cards and jewelry you would love this. Very few food vendors. Funnel Cakes $15.00 a piece. We did buy fresh ripe peaches that are delicious.
