Great food and great service! We stopped here after visiting Chichen Itza and it was one of the highlights of the day! The staff was very welcoming and the food was excellent. We'd eaten at the Mexican restaurant in our resort the night before and this was way better, the best empanadas we had the whole trip! They were also very accommodating and offered several vegetarian options (try the huevos mexicanos!). We will be back!

Tried the Lomitos, which is chopped pork slowly cooked to be fork-tender in tasty sauce, and served with chopped egg, rice, black beans, cabbage salad and tomatoes. Not as good as place next door, but yummy nonetheless. With a soda the whole meal was 110 pesos. Recommended.

Honest review Food: was soooooooo good!! An absolutely MUST stop!! Cochinita is the specialty of this area — it’s a must try dish Drinks: The banana milkshake really hit the spot on the hottest day ever haha Atmosphere: local, chill Service: The staff were all soooo nice Cost: Good value and cost is closer to local pricing 10/10 would recommend When you park there may be someone who comes to your window with a different menu.

Awesome and affordable little restaurant. Amazing sopa de lima and juice! The only downside is that they don't have beer.

Cheap and good. Good place to stop by for food. Nothing special tbh. Portions were tiny

Our party of 5 enjoyed a delicious and inexpensive lunch at Los Arcos. It was recommended by our excellent Chichen Itza guide, Carlos Curtiz May. He said it is where he eats, and is a local place, not aimed at tourists. All of us enjoyed our meals. Not sure whether they have a bathroom.

Delicious food at a very reasonable price. There was a buffet available but we were a bit too early and we didn’t want to be too late for Chichen Itza. We ordered off the menu instead.

Picked based off of Google review quality, everyone is very nice. Make sure you go to correct restaurant-there are three nearby and the servers will harass you to get you to go to theirs. The tomatoes on the poc-chuc were not fresh. All other food seemed good. Everything was microwaved. There aren't many other choices so I think this is the best you'll find.

Good authentic food with very reasonable prices, that would be great if they can add more vegetarian options, they don't have a bathroom which is a downside specially when you've been on the road for a good while. The food tasted good and the staff was sweet

The cochinita pibil was good. The chicken nachos were very soggy and flavorless. The Cuban sandwhich was plain. I wouldnt say it was great or recommend it.

The ladies at Lonchería Los Arcos were very nice and helped accommodate and substitute food items to make them vegetarian and kid-friendly. I ordered a platter of cochinita pibil, little one had grilled chicken breast with rice and tomato avocado salad, and my gf had huevos rancheros without meats to make it vegetarian. The horchata, Jamaica and tamarindo "aguas frescas" were really good too. Would go back any time passing through. No pictures of my food as I inhaled my meal after spending 5 hrs at Chichen Itzá but the dogs there were friendly and non-intrusive. I almost adopted 3 dogs :D

The best line soup, first day was excellent the service but the second day didn’t like the way another girl treated us… the food is good tho… would come back.

After leaving Chichén Itzá we wanted a quick bite to eat because we were going on a three hour drive back home. One of the tour guides recommended this restaurant and I ordered the lime soup with chicken and tortilla chips and the broth was flavorful but the chicken was a bit over cooked. Other folks on the table ordered the sope And some tacos but it was nothing worth raving about. The location was near multiple outdoor restaurants and in front of the plaza (nice place to take pictures). There were adorable street dogs roaming our table and one of them Kept politely bopping their nose on us to call our attention. I loved it but not everyone on the table enjoyed the dogs while eating :0) There were a few local kids who approached our table and offered to sell souvenirs and recited some ‘bombas’ in exchange for tips or a purchase. They were polite and sweet I was extremely impressed.

Stopped in after visiting Chichen Itza specifically to have empanadas. We had both the chicken and pork. With a little habanero sauce they were perfect. Washed it all down with some cold papaya juice. All this for $170 pesos. You can’t find a deal like that anywhere. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
