The food was delicious and cheap! Really yummy. However, I saw the lady behind the counter eating with her fingera, not washing her hands, then cooking. As an American, I need to see hand washing. This is the only reason for my 4 star rating.

I tried the Cochinita Pibil, which was served with rice, black beans, cabbage salad with avocado, and pickled onions. While the meal tasted ok, something was lacking in the seasonings. Plus no salsas were served. However, my waitress was very cute so that made up for the bland food. 😎

We managed to order food with poor Spanish, the host was very helpful though. The cochinita pibil taco was really nice. And the entire meal for 4 costed less than 400 pesos (20 USD)

One of the best places to eat authentic local food. The owner Gloria is a real boss lady 😆 Do not judge this book by its cover. We stopped here to eat after our 3 hours tread in Chichen Itza.

TRY THE PLACE NEXT DOOR - The food was decent but nothing to brag about. I think its a matter of popularity rather than taste. We had a party of 8 and ordered different foods but nothing stood out. The place looks clean and well kept. However, there are two other food places next to this one that I regretted not trying.

So glad we ignored the negative nancy reviews and stopped for lunch, I am thinking shills from the adjoining restaurants that try to swoop in when you get out of your car and guide you elsewhere. Friendly staff at Fabiola's. We sat at a table in front of the counter and watched them prepare our lunch meals fresh, including pressing the tortillas. I had 4 tacos (3 chicken, 1 cochinita pibil) excellente, my wife had the cochinita pibil platter, we split an order of 4 empanadas and 3 frescas to wash it down. Total bill was 250 pesos or $13.60us.

It's slow but worthy of waiting for. The exquisite part of a gourmet meal is the wait. Read the bill carefully, they're known to add a little.

Panuchos with conchinita were good taste wise but very oily. Papadzules are tortillas filled with cooked eggs. Yummy sopa de Lima (refreshing in the heat) Cheap compared to other places

Delicious mexican traditional food! Better food and better service amd better prices than all the other fancy restaurants around.

GOOD food from a friendly owner. We had a nice conversation with the owner and he gave us good advice about the area. This is a good choice to stop when you go to Chitzen Itza

We absolutely loved this place. We had Cochinitas, Sopa de Limon, and Horchata. The food was perfect after walking around Chichen Itza
