The great platform of Venus is also known as the Tomb of Chal Mool. It has steps on all 4 sides leading to Plumped serpents head guarding the platform at the top.

Venus platform is a beautifully restored and preserved small pyramidal platform adorned with snakes heads guarding each of its four stairways. It can be located between the great ballcourt and the Castillo pyramid. Beautiful and powerful building.

Chichen Itza is a must see if visiting the Yucatan peninsula. The best way to see it is by renting a car and getting there right at 8am. Almost noone is there at that time. The big tours don't arrive until about 9:30. We just used online videos to learn about the different ruin highlights.

Beautiful architecture and interesting to see old rings on other parts and this is how they used to play games. Very interesting 😊
