After
visiting
Chichen
Itza
we
wanted
to
escape
the
big
crowds
and
eat
at
a
place
nearby.
I
found
this
charming
little
spot
on
tripadvisor.
It
was
a
quick
10
minutes
drive
from
Chichen
Itza.
Upon
arrival,
the
place
looked
very
simple.
Even
so,
I’ve
had
the
best
food
at
places
that
were
as
simple
as
this
one
and
I
had
a
good
feeling
about
it.
The
owners
were
delighted
to
have
us
and
super
friendly!
And
the
food,
amazing!!
Typical
local
Mexican
food
and
you
can
tell
that
they
cook
with
love!
I
got
the
feeling
that
the
place
was
family
owned
and
runned
by
the
family.
We
were
five
adults
and
had
five
meals,
one
shared
starter,
three
beers,
one
lemonade,
one
water
and
we
we’re
stunned
when
we
got
the
bill,
only
510
pesos
for
the
whole
thing.
The
food
and
the
service
was
excellent
and
we
were
more
than
happy
to
leave
a
tip.
Give
this
place
a
try!
Don’t
get
put
off
by
the
simple
looks
of
it
from
the
street.
You
really
won’t
regret
it!
