Lucretia was very kind and shared her Mayan history with us over breakfast. She makes a good and reasonably priced breakfast and also sells some chocolates and chocolate mixes! This is a wonderful local spot you can support on the way to Chichén Itzá.

We stopped here on the way to the ruins and also on the way back. Nice modern place. I had the omelette, and my husband - pasta. On the way back I had pasta and he had beef lasagna. Beautiful drinks. The only thing was we ordered cake and it was not great. I think noone orders it so it was probably old haha. Otherwise, really happy with this place, recommend visiting.

On your way into the cozy little town of Piste, make sure to stop by Choko Coffee. Excellent service and an outdoor or indoor option. It’s up to you. You get the feeling of being greeted by family and friends. The coffee is great and the menu is varied. Very nice place with a beautiful atmosphere. Just visit. You don’t have to take my word for it. Chichén Itzá is right up the way.

Absolutely amazing coffee/breakfast spot close to Chichen Itza. Staff were amazing and food was incredibly good for such a low price!

Great pizza and ice cream! The best coffee in town, hands down. They serve coffee in the mornings and evenings. On weekdays, the shop may be closed during the heat of the day (Monday and Tuesday for us). My kids wanted a “regular” meal after extensive forced variety and this was perfect. :)

Although the coffee is located directly on the street, it was - at least when I was there - very quiet. I ate a sandwich and ordered a cappuccino. The sandwich was quite okay. Especially the price-performance ratio was right. The cappuccino had unfortunately again the "cinnamon problem" and was also not particularly tasty. Cappuccino 2 out of 10
