Fresh fish, crispy batter…. Delicious chips and lovely staff!

Lovely fish and chips, good portion! Great staff. Not often you can say going to the chip shop was fun but it was! Not local to the store but it was the perfect work pit stop on a Friday. Good parking outside on street 5 star

Used to love this place but since the owner passed away god bless him it has gone down hill. I had a donner kebab last night and I know it was late as I had just finished work but it was the worst one I've ever had from anywhere. The young lady behind the counter asked for someone to come over and put the grill back on for me and all I heard was ( use what is left in the pot that had obviously been there for hours. That wouldn't of happened with the gentleman that was originally in charge safe to say I will not be going back again. Such a shame

Just had a great fish and chip supper, the best fish I have had in a long time brilliant, the staff were really friendly and helpful, even rapped my meals in foil when I said I have a little while to travel, offered to pay for the service but they said no happy to do it. Easy parking right outside 10 out of 10 for me. We'll done guys

Really really good. My wife had the cod and chips and was cooked to perfevtion. I had chicken shish and was lovely and fresh.. Perfect t after a long day at goodwood Highly reconmended

We celebrated a return trip to England with fish n chips from La Fish tonight and it was great. Our service from Lou and Mitch was super friendly, helpful, and prompt. The fish was packaged so well for takeout that it was still toasty and delish when we reached our hotel. La Fish is a small, neighborly, and very clean fish shop - and maybe the very best in all the UK!

We called through our order 20 minutes prior to collecting it. The food was being packaged as we arrived which meant we knew it would be fresh. The plaice was delicious and my wife’s gluten free cod was the best GF batter that she’s tried. Very impressed!!

Delicious! My family and I stopped here for dinner after a day at the beach (West Wittering) and it was a treat! Friendly staff, gorgeous fresh fish, generous portions and great burgers too. Will definitely be back soon 🤩

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my fish and chips. It’s not just the food, the service is just impeccable. Despite the fact that we don’t have them very regularly, the owner always recognises us, is incredibly friendly and is always really kind to the kids. First class community service.

The plaice was very small being charged at the full size. The size of fish was just over half the size of box with mostly batter. Unfortunately this was not the first we have experienced it. Couple of years back the plaice definitely tasted better and with better size. The calamari is good along with their chips.

I ordered a take away with l.a fish tonight, I was so happy with my order. Cooked to perfection and arrived 10 mins earlier than expected. Food was hot and full of flavour. Thanks for the great experience xx the team go above and beyond to make sure your catered for. Many thanks 😊

Yes though not really “ dealt with”. A refund for something I didn't receive in merchantable quality. No apology either and naturally not worth taking the risk again. The pie might be fresh daily but you are obviously keeping it heated too long? Awful, specifically a burnt(inside) inedible pie. That and over £6.00 for a pie!! The burnt taste won’t go away. Received a full refund( for the pie).

Update - genuine apology received from Yoddi. Issue resolved and we will try La Fish again as we’ve had no issues before. Great chips but VERY dried up chicken in the kebab. I tried 3 pieces of meat and couldn’t swallow any without a drink. Couldn’t eat the rest. Two chicken kebabs with two pittas which were fairly dry. Mine had a broken off piece as too dry. Inedible chicken. All for £24.50 (no sauce or salad in that price either). Awful. Used to like this place but no longer.

Been using LA for years and they are a fantastic fish and chip shop. Great customer service and they go above and beyond to keep customers happy 👍 fantastic service! Thanks LA fish

This place was a great little find for us. Staff were great chatty, friendly and welcoming and the fish and chips were superb. We will be back there again, so will my Dad 🩷🩷

Had food before, usually really good. Had it one time before on deliveroo and it was really nice and tasty. Had it again tonight unfortunately, feel robbed to be honest, when I've finished trying to moisten my mouth out from the dryest kebabs and sausage I've ever had in my life, I'll try and leave an honest review.......

Came with my little girl couple weeks back, it was a real treat to get friendly service, and the portions size is great. Definitely good value for money. More filling than a Curry/Chinese that ends up more expensive than fish and chips when you think about it. Definitely be back soon

Fantastic food from here a few days ago! Absolutely lovely staff. We had cod & chips with curry sauce & the cod was cooked to absolute perfection it was delicious! We will definitely be back!

Placed a what I consider a large order (21 Meals) to be delivered to my place of work for a post Christmas treat for our service users. Great personal service and great food delivered at the requested time, all items marked so easy for staff to distribute. Enjoyed by all and very much appreciated, looking forward to ordering again.

Ordered 3 medium haddock and chips on bank holiday Monday afternoon. Just short of £30. The fish batter was over cooked and really greasy and most of the chips were little bits of crisp. Very disappointed and won’t be returning.

Ordered via Uber Eats. Excellent, fast service and the fish was a delight - good size, batter and taste, (and I'm picky) so really top notch for a reasonable price. Only 4 stars because the chips were undercooked and flabby, but I realise that although we like ours very crispy, some people do like their chips that way...anyway, once finished off in a red-hot pan they were OK so overall recommended

AVOID this garbage. We ordered over £60 worth of food, it arrived stone cold and the portion sizes were criminally small as well as being WRONG - orders had wrong items and sauces on. We rang directly and the staff offered no solution, only excuses and blaming the delivery driver. Poor effort and poor customer service. We walked to the local corner shop and got a tastier microwave curry afterwards.
