Reception staff was neither particularly competent, solution-oriented nor welcoming. They managed to botch nearly 99% of our requests we made months in advance to our stay and during. The food was very prettily arranged but astonishingly bland. The cuisine was an insult to what I heard is world-famous cuisine. The rooms were mostly clean. The pools really small. The elevators didn't always work. The A/C was faulty during our whole stay because they didn't fix it. This is absolutely inacceptable and from what I've read a lot of other reviewers had a lot of the same complaints. The breakfast for our departure day was a joke: a hard, unripe orange and banana, unflavoured yogurt, croissant, a few slices white bread. We found it curious that they couldn't be bothered to put jam, butter and maybe something hot to eat even upon request on the table. All in all, beautiful beach (!!), extremely underwhelming hotel and customer services and subpar cuisine. I've stayed at better 4* hotels. This is a testament to how far Iberostar has yet to go. The complaints I made a very basic and any serious 5* hotel should be able to process complaints and feedback with grace which my experience showed me they were not capable of. I don't feel they are worth 5* at all. Nevertheless, there are plenty of hotels on this Novo Sancti Petri strip if you don't want to wait around for them.

Beautiful resort in the heart of Andalusia. While Chiclana is super busy this tine of the year, you could not feel it here.. it’s quiet, beautiful and felt like an Oasis. The layout and common areas are beautiful, the pool and restaurant are amazing. The staff was friendly. The rooms are clean and beautiful, a little aged, but beautiful!!

Thanks to those staffs: Juan Jesus(Always greeting me like best friend), Samir(buffet server, He gave my husband a good knife When cutting meat with difficulty), Manual(buffet beef corner chef, cook amazing delicious ox tail and tell me kindly about food informations), Jairo and Maria(buffet sea food corner chef, They cook amazing delicious octopus and beef carpaccio and they were also kind!) Wonderful stay in this hotel! Especially staffs are nice. Super kind and always smile ! Amazing friendly staffs. (Need to improve) Some foods are really delicious(like ox tail by Manuel or Octopus and carpaccio bay Maria and Jairo), but some was quite disappointed. Salad and fish wasn’t fresh. sometimes I can’t eat fish because of bad smell and beef steak was quite tough. and egg tortilla wasn’t cook well. I felt 1 or 2 food was exceptionally nice everyday but the others are just average or below average. The taste of many food is overrated . Also plate is too dirty. I think they don’t use appropriate dish washers. There was food residue in every plate. So many flies at the buffet. Flies were attached to fish and fruit. It looks not clean. Room clean also disappointed. We provided enough tips every day, but bedding and bath robes were not changed for one week. I left the dirty bath robes on the floor to exchange them, but staff just picked them up and hung them up again (I can notice that I left small trash in robe’s pocket) Also front staffs were not kind at all. They didn’t explain parkinglot fee when we checked in. We were embarrassed we found it was 10euros/day. Thin little beard male staff should have to explain fees. But overall I really appreciate this hotel and definitely visit again for meet up great staffs!

We were not impressed with the additional 30€ to park your car. A/C in the room was week to say the least. You are put in a 45 min. time slot for breakfast. The hotel is well kept with a good location and friendly staff. We just didn't appreciate all of the little hidden cost.

There are plenty of five star hotels strategically located along great beaches, particularly in the Sancti Petri area. All of them, including this one, offer a series of services in accordance with their category. Great location, food, and drinks, ample rooms from where to admire the ocean, several swimming pools, cable, a plethora of entertainment activities, live music at sunset and luminous marble halls and fountains. Thus, why this one, why does it stand above the rest? The answer is simple, the personnel working there. You feel at home and that kind of feeling, in a place located far from your home both geographically and culturally, is really hard to achieve and goes well beyond the efficiency expected from the personnel. You don’t just have a good time, you feel well being there and that feeling is what differentiates this hotel and its people from the rest.

We stayed all-inclusive for a few nights. The service was warm and friendly. The food was extremely good quality, especially the a la carta lunch. If you like Spanish food, you'll love it here. With fresh ingredients and quality wines. The beach is so close too! We are definitely looking forward to our next stay!

Very nice 5 star hotel. We are there for the second time. First time was before COVID. The view from our suite is very nice and the big pool is ideal for swimming. The food and variety is fantastic. The prices for good wine are also fine. It is also very easy to go to the beach and we like the weather which isn't humid even that it is hot. There is always some wind. There is friendly and good service and we felt very well served from Francis, Juan Diego, Marcial, Irene and Rodrigo. They were very helpful also our Spanish is very, very limited and we can have good and super friendly conversation in English... ..after having a great check-in experience in the evening of arrival, the check-out experience was unfortunately disappointing and put a small shadow on the very nice overall experience and the very friendly employees. After asking Maria at reception to stay until 13:30h to bridge the time to our departure a little bit at 14:50h and leaving enough time for cleaning the room until 15:00h, she was in our view very straight, highly process oriented and less customer friendly and did insist in a tough way to leave the room latest at 12:00h - for staying two weeks in an expensive suite, our expectation for 2,5h additional hours was at least different based on experience in other hotels of this category;-(

Incredible service, wonderful food, great fitness opportunity’s!!! Matha the fitness coach is doing an awesome job at the programs such as at the aqua gymnastics!!! Christians spinning class was also very good!!! The gym is extremely well equipped and the pool is amazing! The service is so incredible, as Ismael states a perfekt example of a friendly, very competent and kind member of the staff, as well as Galvan who helped us a lot!! But they are no exception as every single member is very competent and kind. Thank you so much also for the wonderful room service as they are doing a perfect job twice a day! Last but not at least the food never disappoints it is so exquisite and delicious! We’ll look forward to next years visit!

I had the best holiday so far in this hotel. The place is just so beautiful, the food is incredibly good (for me food is the most important point), the rooms were very clean and the people are so nice. If you decide to go there, you should also definitely join the free courses, like aqua gymnastic at 12.30 with Marta. I really enjoyed her course, because she put in so much effort and was very motivating with her funny and warm-hearted way of being. I can warmly recommend this hotel and will definitely go there again next summer!

While the location is fantastic and the service is great, the rooms do not have any real air conditioning. There is a light fan that turns on but nothing that makes any noticeable difference. The room is so hot that we cannot sleep and a call to the front desk results in asking us if all the wi dies are closed. Yes, they are. While I want to love this place, the most important thing is being able to sleep which I could not with the heat and lack of AC. This is a total fail 😟

when rest is a pleasure 😊 this year everything was wonderful, I don’t want to overpraise 😂 we plan to return next year. the hotel corresponds to the level of 5 stars. I was very pleased with the cleanliness, the service upon arrival. Of course, I would like to make a remark about breakfast, there are drawbacks 😏 unfriendly staff and tasteless coffee, but this is only for breakfast. In general, I liked everything very much, the price-quality corresponds. 👌

First of all, the appearance of the hotel is very neat and everything is put together beautifully. It's very clean at all times and everybody is extremely polite and eager to help. The animators (Marta and Christian) are doing an amazing job. Especially aqua relax and the fan painting were great fun.

Second year in a row. For me the best deal beach 5* hotel I found in Andalusia (up to now). Highlight for me are the facilities (including gym, bar, restaurant), on top of the beach, very quite area. Drawback is that there is not much life around. But this is also good if you are looking to rest.

having a great time here at this beautiful place in Andalusia! We are totally enjoying friendly staff, delicious and fresh food and a clean hotel complex. The beach is a wonderful place as well to have a long walk either in the direction of Cadiz, or Conil. Bus transfer to the airport took about 40 minutes

The hotel was excellent in all aspects: rooms, pool, restaurant, food. Marta the fitness instructor was one of the many highlights of our stay: fun and fitness. The staff was always helpful, friendly and with a smile.

We had a great time at Iberostar, the buffet is unreal - takes hotel buffets to a whole new level with many different islands for different types of food. The staff are friendly, helpful and kind. Live music is played most evening with classical Spanish music. Great place to bring the family, relax and enjoy the beach!

Marta is the best! We stayed at the hotel 3 years ago. At that time there was no animation like this year. The themes offered such as spinning, yoga, water gymnastics , Bartik shirts etc. is a great addition. All these themes are run by Marta. She is incredibly fun-loving, incredibly friendly, competent and happy to help with the different exercises. A great staff member! Any hotel would be lucky to have such a staff member. We like the hotel very much and will consider to put this hotel to one of our favorite places to be. Nothing to complain about. On days where our bodies were tired somehow Marta could motivate us to join her fitness program to become strong.Marta you are the best and we are not angry at you for making us move our muscles in the contrary we always felt much better after your program.
