The BEST food I’ve tasted in a long while! Amazing flavours and spices, full of flavour and presented well! The restaurant itself is fantastic and so beautiful. The staff are so friendly yet professional. One of my favourite restaurants in Spain!

What an experience! Such a beautiful, magical place. The entrance to the restaurant through steep staircases, narrow isles and little arcs was a wonderful experience on its own. The restaurant offers the most beautiful atmosphere with lots to see. There are beautiful pieces of art all over the place, the lighting is so lovely. Everything is so lovingly collected and arranged! The food was absolutely great as well. :-) will be back for sure!

Beautiful restaurant that serves fantastic Arabic food. Everything we ate was really good! Friendly and attentive service. Really good wines. Make sure to reserve a table or come early since it's very popular.

Lovely spot on the terrace upstairs for Arab style afternoon tea and cakes. Nice view and a cool breeze.

We booked the lone table in the cistern for an afternoon lunch, and had a fantastic afternoon. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing and a wonderful place to spend a couple of hours. The building was rich in history and we look forward to coming again, perhaps dining in the gardens.

Booked a table as my foodie sister was visiting with friends. Hands down one of the best meals of the week. Lovely atmosphere, great service. Everything was delicious, but we particularly like the seafood pastela. Can't wait to go back. Thank-you!

Recommended to us and so glad we took up the recommendation. Every aspect of this was top notch, the whole experience from start to finish was superb. We have an apartment in Spain (not in Vejer) so have been coming here for many years. Have to say I cannot remember a better experience anywhere. Lovely staff, lovely setting, superb food. Do yourselves a favour and come here, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful ambiance in a very nice place. The olives are great. I had the chicken lebanese style. Unfortunately it was burnt (a bit too much for me, somebody else might like it this way).

Amazing food, environment and service. The quality of the food is amazing with good vegetarian options. Highly recommend the chicken Pastella and the mezze of califa . We paid 74 euros for entry, plate and dessert with drinks which was a good price for the quality .

Do you want to feel like Ancient Arabic royalty? This wonderful restaurant will make you feel just like that. You can reserve online and the woman manager is polite, efficient and friendly. We had the Halloumi cheese for starter, and our main courses were Chicken Pastella which was to die for and Lamb Couscous which was delish. We ended the meal with two Moroccan teas, sweet and tasting of hierbabuena (peppermint).

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this Moroccan restaurant in Vejer de la Frontera! The food was excellent, with every dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared with fresh ingredients. The cozy atmosphere and beautiful decor of the restaurant made for a memorable lunch, and I felt like I had stumbled upon a hidden gem among the streets of this charming town. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided attentive service throughout the lunch, making us feel right at home. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious food experience in Vejer de la Frontera!

A wonderful place to eat and well worth a visit if you come to Vejer, could not fault a dish or course and the price was pretty reasonable as well.

Had a wonderfull lunch. We were on a daytrip to Vejer and found this place on Google Maps. Decided to walk in and ask for a table. The kitchen was not open yet and most tables had been booked. Yet the friendly host managed to squeeze us in. What a treat! The food is impeccable. There is so much taste. I have no (negative) remarks on this place. 10/10 would recommend anyone. Just make sure you are on time, have a reservation and it’s a bit pricey (yet, not in comparison to what you get)

Food, service and location excellent. Very popular and just off the central plaza, I would strongly recommend booking as far in advance as possible. When booking, opt to eat in the outdoor terrace, it's an amazing setting.
