Amazing dive center with a true passion for scuba! I reached out to Buceo Almuñécar four months before my trip and from the very-first contact the communication was exceptional. The owner, Yvan, even called me to discuss plans for my trip. I ended up doing 17 dives with Buceo Almuñécar and getting an Advanced Open Water certification as well as Nitox and Deep specialty certifications. For all the courses, my instructor was David and I must say, he is an outstanding instructor and guide. The owner, Yvan, is passionate about his work and it shows. He is very positive and greets everyone each day with a smile and an "all good?" to make sure you're having a great day too. It's clear from the start that Yvan wants everyone to get the most from their dives and enjoy themselves. He has a bunch of 15L tanks to make sure that people like me, who use more air than they should, can get the most bottom time possible. He is also flexible and fantastic at scheduling. Night dive with three other people? "You have a torch? Yes. No problem! All good!" Doing a Nitrox-certification dive? Yvan will get the Nitrox tank filled and have it ready right on schedule. "No problem! All good!" Instructor David is also fantastic. He has an incredible amount of knowledge and is very calm and patient. He seems to also be intimately familiar with where every conger eel and octopus in the region lives. He would take us right to places without any problems. On one dive, we saw five octopi thanks to David's knowledge. David is also responsible and mindful. He knew where all the divers were at all times and was constantly checking on us, even when giving me skills tests. He frequently made sure we were all okay and was asking us to check our air supplies regularly. I was never worried and was completely confident with David as my guide and instructor. They work hard at Buceo Almuñécar to have good, quality equipment and to make sure it is maintained and functioning properly. All the tanks are in great shape and can easily be switched to DIN at a moment's notice. After every dive trip, Yvan and David are a bustle of activity rinsing, washing, hanging, filling tanks and so much more. They function as an efficient machine and everything is checked at least three times before any dives. During my time diving with Buceo Almuñécar there were also many locals who came in for a dive or two. There were even people who had made return visits from abroad. It's clear that Yvan has built a community that everyone loves to be a part of. I can't give more than five stars to Buceo Almuñécar but it deserves more. Being this friendly and professional at the same time takes a special kind of passionate person and it truly shows with Yvan, David and Buceo Almuñécar!!

5 dives in 2 days with Buceo Almuñecar, had the most amazing time. Yvan is really attentive and helpful, and transport to and from locations was provided. João was a fantastic guide, I felt comfortable and safe and saw so much amazing wildlife!! Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

After 2 years without scuba diving I have discovered Buceo Almuñecar and it was great. They have a lot of experience, gives you a lot a confidence and are very adaptable to your level and skills as the groups are reduced. I will definitely will be back diving with Yvan and the team. Thanks!

Flawless and great diving experience! During my stay in Almuñécar I completed my Advanced Open Water certification with Yvan. I stopped by the dive shop spontaneously and within a few minutes Yvan had planned all the dives I needed. The equipment provided is state of the art. Dry dives and nitrox dives are even possible. I also did a try dive with my friends who had no diving experience. Yvan likes to take his time with every diver and has a real passion for his job. With his positive nature he infects everyone and inspires people about the world of scuba diving. The diving spot, which is practically right on the doorstep, is beautiful. Lots of colorful marine life and orange corals. It only takes a few minutes by car to reach the next bay and numerous other diving spots. I will definitely come again! 🤙🏼

Very good club in Almunecar Family atmosphere but also very professional. No complaints Top for passing levels, baptisms… They have a smile, they adapt to customers, speak English/French and Spanish of course.

Excellent diving. Instructors super knowledgeable, patient and always available. Quality equipment. I had my second baptism and a day of snorkeling. I still carry with me the wonderful experience in the beautiful backdrops of Almuñecar and surroundings. Congratulations to Ivan and his team.
