👍 If you like Camarón, it is a good place to see his origins since he was a child and his personal and handwritten things. There are very interesting things!! I expected something more... More museum. And being able to listen to all the videos, they have to be very interesting but there is no time. Bu... People often mention museum,

If you like Camarón, it is a good place to see his origins since he was a child and his personal and handwritten things. There are very interesting things!! I expected something more... More museum. And being able to listen to all the videos, they have to be very interesting but there is no time. But in general it is very nice and full of memories and it is quite good. It's free but you have to make an appointment in advance on the website. I recommend it because it is quite interesting.

It's not the best, but if you like Camarón you can enjoy many authentic personal effects donated by the family, you can even see his Mercedes car, his authentic one that is at the entrance to the center. Perhaps for me, being able to see their notes, their agendas and other personal effects is the most interesting thing about the center because to know the entire history it is not the best place, in addition, you can find most of the audiovisuals on any online platform, misses some unpublished explanation or some curious anecdote that has not been made known until now, the route is not well indicated, there are many interactive functions that do not work and the person who explains it at the beginning is not pleasant at all, he conveys very little passion for his work treating the attendees in a very unpleasant way and even when leaving the first part, he caught our attention for confusing us when leaving through another place, his ways were not appropriate, the Junta de Andalucía and Camarón's family should do it to him look, we were there on 08/22/2023 at the 7:00 p.m. pass. Tickets can only be purchased online, we had to help a couple who did not handle new technologies well (it is not designed for them) because after requesting information from the security personnel who are right at the entrance they did not get any response other than the which was provided by the sign stuck on the glass, and his next words were that we should go back because if the door didn't open... there is no other way to access the center than by reserving the tickets online, they are free and they will send them to you. mail. Thank goodness it's free, otherwise I think they would have many more negative reviews, a shame that something so representative is so poorly managed.

Recommended, it is free but with advance entry reservation, something to keep in mind. If you like shrimp you can't miss it.

It is clear that for lovers of flamenco and the figure of Camarón, a visit is essential and more than recommended and also free. The installations show a quite pleasant and attractive space, with a play of lights and colors that unifies the entire exhibition. A modern building and a very updated media exhibition. In addition, they are very well adapted for people with reduced mobility and baby strollers. However, everything was quite neglected (dirty glass, things not working and even damaged for the short time the museum has been in operation). I guess it won't be usual and we were just unlucky. In itself, the museum is very well organized in terms of discourse and quite complete, although a little chaotic to be able to watch the videos without the sound of the room preventing you from doing so. The visit begins with a reception where they remember the museum's rules and explain its organization to facilitate your tour. I recommend booking in advance because tickets fly quickly. Tickets that, without a doubt, are the key to not having to wait long to enter and giving access to more people, because there are smaller rooms in which it is necessary to control the capacity. Do not miss it!

Do go to see it but arrive on the hour! An interesting place with lots of video displays, interviews and of course the music. The whole experience is marred by a ridiculously complicated ticketing system for the FREE tickets plus the time limit of one hour. We arrived at 12.15 and had to have a 12.00-13.00 ticket, which meant we only had 45min before we were ASKED to leave...... even though there were only two other people there.

I absolutely loved it. I want to make a special mention of the young man who served us with a kindness worthy of gratitude during these times. Thank you very much and if you like Camarón, don't miss it if you can.

This is a "must visit place" by anyone who loves flamenco, Camaron and culture. It provides a great retrospective of Camaton's life and his singing carrier. I visited the place with my family while visiting Cadiz and the feria in Jerez. It can serve as great inspiration, history leson and cultural empowerment tool at this times when culture and flamenco is losing slowely its fame. By the way, the museum deserves much loud advertisment by the touristic services of Cadiz and Andalusia together. It can fit very well with the Noche del Flamenco events, a morning or afternoon trip to Camaron's museum and lunch to Venta de Vargas restaurant which is just there when you leave the museum. Do not miss the place once you are in Cadiz, Jerez or Seville.
