The last sign post said "Dog Beach 250m". My son, dog and I entered through the "Dog Beach" entrance where a boardwalk takes you a few hundred metres to the beach. There are no further signposts and it's impossible to know where the dog friendly beach starts. After about 30 minutes of fun on the beach with other dog owners a policeman came on a quad and told us one by one to move further up the beach. I saw him writing tickets to some dig owners. He wasn't very helpful. We walked and walked, but he wanted us to walk more. In the end we gave up and turned back and went home. I won't return. It's a pity, such a long and beautiful beach which is advertised as dog-friendly but it's made impossible to use.

About 5 kilometers of beach if you would connect it with Playa del Castillo in the south towards Sanct Petri. Dark-colored sand with rocks and shells make the beach look dirty. But it is actually clean. DRINKS, FOOD & BATHROOM: There's a chiringuito right at the entrance with limited shaded outdoor seating. PARKING: Plenty of spaces at a dedicated lot less than 3-minute walk away. Watch out for big waves with the wind, especially in May and October. Big Smile!

Very beautiful beach with enough space to sit and to keep distance. The beach is very well looked after and super clean. There are showers taps and toilets available. Easy to reach by car with plenty of parking close by. Also possible to come by bus.

(Translated by Google) INCREDIBLY PRETTY. Of the many times and beaches that I have visited Cadiz, I have to say that it will be one of the best beaches. A lot of parking with little gorilla, sand and water to get lost, bathrooms, showers and beach bars of the best of the best. You can see a neat, clean beach that you have to go to see ... Don't miss the sunset from there. (Original) INCREIBLEMENTE BONITA.

Great amenities among an abundance of free parking. Showers, restrooms, the boardwalk, and the street side parking were all perfect. If you’re looking to get to a beach out of the heart of the city this is the place. A bit of a south wind made the sand tough to avoid but the showers took care of it with easy. Seems to be some cool hiking trails and free camper parking. I would love to go back and cycle the new VERY LONG board walk they are building.

It is a good a not so overcrowded beach with a hot water. My children found it especially great because there were tons of very nice shells!

Probably the best beach in the area, my favourite anyway. 1) Plenty of parking 2) Backed by dunes (as opposed to an urban area) 3) Recently (last year?) renovated facilities every 500m or so 4) Couple of seasonal chiringuitos which, though pricey, are nonetheless pretty good

(Translated by Google) Wonderful canine beach, clean, wide, you have to take a walk of 1.5 km to get there but it is worth it. The standard is done by a catwalk and it is done well. At the beginning of the walkway there are showers for dogs. Another point. (Original) Maravillosa playa canina, limpia, amplia, hay que darse un paseo de 1,5 km para llegar pero merece la pena. El padrón se hace por una pasarela y se hace bien. Al principio de la pasarela hay duchas para perros. Otro punto más.

😠 This is not a beach. What there is are the sediments of the Bay of Cádiz. That is mud. A lot of garbage, glass, plastic containers. Regarding sunsets, there are better places in the area. The beach bars, good fish, poorly attended, and for what I left and will not return again, a rat walking around...
