This hot springs resort in Ukiah is the oldest hot springs in California. It claims that Jack London visited. The "mountain cabin" we stayed was comfortable for two but had no TV or or food on the premise. However, It was soothing and quiet. The champagne mineral hot springs helps with circulation, it's not real hot but rejuvenating. The main pool was very warm with heated mineral waters. We walked on the trail and enjoyed the flora and fauna. It had exquisite scenery.

Got a 2 hour pass at the Vichy springs for $35 per person. The spring is not hot but the tiny bubbles are the specialty. Had a calm relaxing moment. They have a hot tub as well and it was great to soak in there too.

I went three times the summer of 2023. It was too hot for the round pool and I'm ADA and couldn't get into the smaller baths. However the giant swimming pool was an absolute DREAM. It was the perfect temperature. It is filled with spring water. They use a special filtration system that does not use chlorine. The water in the pool is pristine and clean. They have a nice outdoor shower and restrooms near the pool. Plus plenty of tables and high quality lounge chairs. There's lots of trees and foliage near the pool for shade. There's a beautiful fountain at the end of the pool. I love this place and can't wait to go again

This was my 2nd time and amazing time of the year to visit this historic inn. Built in the 1850s It nestles into 700 acres in Mendocino County. It was cold, specially for this Hawaiian girl. But once you got into the spring water, the bubbles of the minerals equalized your body temperature. With a nice warm robe supplied by The Inn, I was able to not only enjoy the Springs and mineral hot tub, but the brilliant colors of autumn while I soaked. Nights were mystical. The fact that I traveled twice within 3 months to a place so far from the Hawaiian islands says so much about these special healing waters.

I went for the first time to Vichy Springs Resort as a gift to my daughter. We had been vacationing in Ft Bragg from the SF Bay area, and drove from Ft Bragg through Willits to get to the Resort. It was 101Β°, and I have had 3 bouts with Melanoma, and am scheduled for surgery for a Squamous Cell carcinoma in a couple of weeks. So I didn't want to be in the surin, and Kristin who was working there was so helpful and kind. She let me sit in the wonderfully cool air conditioned office and read while my daughter had a restful, healing time in the mineral baths. She told me as we were leaving that she had pain in a knee and a hip when we got there, but the pain was all gone when we left. I highly recommend this place!!

Old Cowboy style mineral spring bath. Spring water is less than Luke warm, but it does have enough bubbles to consider champagne like. The private 2 bathtubs rooms are clothing optional, other places are not (I didn’t see anyone opted for no bathing suits). I did $35 day access (2 hours use). Facilities are clean. I would come again.

We really were able to unwind here. It is far enough away from the town to be real quiet, but close enough to town for many dinner choices. Our room was comfortable, the grounds are beautiful. The included breakfast was way better than average. The tubs for the springs are old and look it, but quite functional. My wife was a little unsure about them and the sulfur odor to the spring water, but after being in for a few minutes, really enjoyed it. We both preferred the bubbly spring as compared to the other choice.

Historic mineral baths of naturally carbonated water, warmed by Mother Earth. Ahhhh! Followed by hot tub soak in the rain! Beautifully tended grounds. Swimming pool is open seasonally. (We opted to spend a few hours at Vichy Springs before continuing our vacation in lovely Mendocino County.)

This place is always a gem to come back to. Truly relaxing and magical! The grounds are well kept and the overall vibe is very peaceful. The baths are a nice lukewarm temperature to take a bath in during the late afternoon of early evening. I love coming here because the staff is also very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are cozy and a bit smallish. What could be improved are the bathrooms on the mountain side view. They are very small, with one tiny shower stall with very limited lighting. It could definitely use a some upgrades to match the cozy interior. Thank you for letting me stay here!

We celebrated our one year anniversary here! Wonderful hot springs. Very secluded. Romantic. Not a place for children though

An amazing place with a lot of peace, Vichy is not only hot springs you can hike to different places like the waterfalls the incredible breakfast the very friendly staff and the room we had next to the river. Not to mention how relaxed you feel. There are only 3 in the world so I feel very lucky to have been there.

Awesome place with mineral baths from the 1850s and a big swimming pool to cool down after. The staff was the best and very nice place.

Vichy is such a special place - it's comfortable, quiet, and not only can you relax in the carbonated baths, the jacuzzi, and the pool, but the hiking on site is so beautiful and really shows off the best of this little corner of Mendocino County. We have stayed several times and always feel welcomed by the staff. I rest better at Vichy than nearly anywhere else (the beds are great) - there is just something about it! We have stayed there in the winter in pouring rain and it was still awesome. And yes, there is even a tree house! Highly recommend.

Everything about this trip was great. Beautiful facilities, friendly staff (tell Blondie and Sissy we say hi!), beautiful property and hikes, the springs were such a unique experience. So worth the stay and relaxation!

Loved the warm natural mineral springs. There is a nice trail to a beautiful waterfall as well. Great place to relax and get away!

We dropped in to see the resort during a working trip Ukiah. The lady at the desk was friendly and helpful. We will come for a stay or to at least do a day visit.

Lovely old place but felt complacent. A group of us visited and depending on who answered the phone we either got a friendly welcome or a cross, stern person. Customer service shouldn't be hit or miss but consistent. We visited in very hot weather (over 100F) and none of us were told to hydrate, where to get drinking water for our large water bottles. We had to fill up at crude, outdoor water fountains. That is not acceptable in this day and age. Maybe in the 1850s, but not today. We had a great chat with the general manager who is wonderful and gave our suggestions for a water station at the pool house next to the ice machine as well as one in the lobby and by the baths. This would save on people using plastic, disposable bottles. We also suggested grab bars to help folks in and out of the baths. Historical or not, guests' safety ought to matter more. The rooms are immaculate and beds are comfy. That's a great feature to depend on but also to recommend the place with confidence. The dining hall is classic old school charm with a basic spread, but again, for a place that is supposed to improve one's health, offering plastic creamers is an insult, esp at over $200 per night. That has to change immediately to real cream, or give noon-dairy options. For heavens sake, this isn't the 1960s. The general manager was so nice and receptive he even took notes when we all suggested signs for people to keep quiet. There need to be more signs for overly excited young adults to keep their swimwear on in the hot tub as well. There was some decidedly inappropriate behavior. That is wretched and against public health code as well as decency. Staff need to make much more frequent walk-throughs to maintain standards. Despite all the room to grow and get better, I've told many people to visit this old shrine but really want to see the venue show more initiative in caring for guests' health and safety with easy access to drinking water, physical safety at the baths (I could never invite an elderly person and that seems so unfair just because the mindset is so stuck in the past), and healthier options in the buffet. Overall wonderful if you are able bodied and not handicapped or too elderly. Be sure to go to town for the AMAZING Silver Oak coffee and the yummy food at Cultivo. Ukiah has growing pains but it's getting better and worth a visit.

Lovely springs and hot pool with beautiful land to hike. Room was rustic and comfortable although curtains did not quite close all the way and there was a gap around the air conditioner. Breakfast was decent although more hot options wouldn’t have gone amiss. Would also be nice if robes were available for guests for free instead of being required to rent them (a refundable deposit would also be ok). Lesson learned to bring your own robe!

Beautiful location and hot springs. The Champaign baths were very different and an awesome experience. Wish they were a little warmer, but would definitely return

We only did day use and the Vichy champagne bath is my favorite. Bubbles form on skin and the nibbling sensation as bubbles break is addictive (and healthy due to the capillary bed actions) Beauty (boran) bath is good. Both are not hot so summer visits should be ok too. Spa is the usual hot tub temp. Pool is not heated. Restrooms and semi enclosed shower are right next to the pool.

These mineral baths are served up in the same stone tubs used in 1860. Heritage is fun, but they could at least upgrade to include lockers or lockboxes for valuables. The fizzy water is a trip. It’s more visual than physical. I was very relaxed when I left!

Great experience, would love to stay here a week. Staff super helpful. Albert went and got me another towel after I accidentally got mine soaked. Don't leave your stuff right next to the tubs. Loved the all the greenery, openness, large 🌳 trees. Olympic size pool was awesome too. Only saw a few other people, so not crowded at all.
