Good pizza but awful service. I was excited to have a good pizza spot close to my house when we moved to Chico. The first few times we went and/or ordered were great. However, lately it is impossible to get through on the phone and they don’t offer online ordering. The last time I tried to order the phones were not working so I drove over to place an order. I walked in to a handful of customers and 2 young ladies behind the register, backs to me and looking at their phones. I mentioned my experience and they said “yeah…we’ve been really busy and we turned our phones off”. Then she proceeded to tell me there was an hour and a half wait to order a pizza. As I looked around, the entire staff were just standing around. No possible way they were busy. Trying give benefit of the doubt here but this was really bad. Disappointed that we don’t have a good pizza spot anymore.

This was not a good pizza. I dont post reviews very often, but it really upset me when I got home to eat it. Dont get the vegan pizza here at least, it was 30 bucks and disgusting. I am not a "foodie" or picky eater, I eat whatever often, but this was just plain nasty to eat.

I hate to do it but this is just crazy. Idk how my pizza can be raw and overcooked at the same time but somehow this kitchen staff managed to do it. The veggies in my salad were very obviously not washed. We've come here before, about 5 or 6 months ago, and it was really delicious, they had the best cherry soda too. But I don't know, I guess the kitchen staff must have changed or something because it was repulsive this time around. I'm unsure if I'll give them another go after this.

Tried 2 different pizzas from Farmstar. Both were overcooked, lacking in flavor and chewy. They gave us 2 free pizza coupons because of it, so we tried again a few days later. Same experience. I won't order from Farmstar again.

The pizza was really good here, the mac and cheese was ok, the cheese from the mac was not the kind I like on my mac and cheese.

The pizza used to be a lot better. I haven’t been there for awhile and went today and my pizza was dry with very little toppings that I ordered. If you pay almost $40 for a pizza it should be worth that.

I ordered a pizza here and told them to cook it lightly. I like the crust soft with no burnt spots. They assured they would cook lightly. When I got home and opened it was the most burnt pizza I ever saw. We got a knife and scraped the burnt spots off as well as we could but it was beyond fixing. It just all tasted burnt. Completely black

I went here with a family member after they highly recommended it. The pizza was good, we got a pizza with pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, and red onions on it (I can't remember what it was called). However, the crust was not distributed well. The crust was very thin in the middle (about the thickness of a piece of pepperoni), so the slice was very floppy, but it had a regular sized crust. For me, it wasn't a huge deal, but it was a more little messy to eat than I'd like, trying to keep the pizza toppings from falling off the floppy crust. My favorite part was the ability to draw on the tables with chalk! I'm no artist, but it brings out my inner kid to draw random things. I loved being able to draw on the table with the fun colors! Overall, I'm going to "chalk" this up to an off pizza, as there was nothing wrong with it except the crust, and I'd love to try it again!

This may be the best pizza place in Chico! And their service is incredible. 10/10 would recommend, try the Hawaii 5-0

The restaurant looks nice, it's decorated in Mimi's Cafe sort of way. The pies are one size fits all and they are thin crust. We ordered two pizzas and man, those pies were scalding hot. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of thin crust but as far as thin pizza goes, it was ok. My wife and daughter loved it though.

I've had 4 pizzas from them: 2 were so excellent I sent photos and raves to friends. 2 were nearly as good but had far too much extra black pepper sprinkled atop the sauce. I can barely eat the most recent pizza because there's too much black pepper. This means I bought $50 worth of pizza that is marginally edible. If all the pizzas could be like the excellent 2, I'd give this place 5 stars. As it is, I gave a generous 3 only because 2.5 isn't possible.

Best pizza in Chico. Not your run of the mill greasy pepperoni. But great farm to table ingredients. Kid friendly. Craft brews on tap.

We love this local pizza spot. The pizzas and salads are amazing. Whenever we need a last minute meal, we call ahead and order our favorite (pig and the shroom). The staff is polite and helpful.

Very high-quality pizza though a little on the pricey side. If wanting to keep the tab low, one can go for the plain cheese pizza, which is a pretty decent New York style pizza with a thin crust.

Will never come here again. So overpriced, we spent just under fifty dollars for one single pizza (made it GF/dairy free due to allergies, etc) and it was the same size as a pizza from MOD. The pizza didn’t taste good, and also took approximately 45 minutes to finally come out. Really disappointing. We’ll take our business elsewhere!

Let me begin by saying I'm A New Yorker. Farm Star Pizza and The Vegesaurus Pizza I ordered along with The Farm Star Salad rate in my humble opinion as two of the best selections you can order from Farm Star. Get a "Real Pizza", not one that pretends to be one. Organic ingredients, locally harvested, cordial and courteous service. My Go To Pizza Place that reminds me of New York Style Hometown Pizza.

The pizza is great if you like specialty foods. Great place to go if your you have food allergies or just like gluten-free or dairy free products.

Pretty good pizza, but not the best pizza of this style in Chico. We've enjoyed it a few times, thought it was terrible other times. Overall not a bad place given the local options.

For me the crust was to thi. And hardly any sauce on our classic pizza. The toppings were good but just not hitting the spot for me. The prices were way over the top. But I'd go back to try some of the salads that I saw others get. Nice people for sure. Getting to the bathrooms was odd and not very feasible if you have difficulty using stairs. Overall nice vibe.

Very cozy, with a rustic aesthetic. The salad and pizza were both fantastic. The pizza crust had just the perfect amount of crunch to it, the sauce was delicious and not overwhelming, and the flavors of the meats were spot on. A little pricey but the quality you're paying for is 100% worth it. Absolutely reccomend.

Great pizza. When they say "thick slices of bacon" they're not joking. We had a build your own with bacon and spinach and it was good. With friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere I definitely be back.

SUPER TASTY & SUPER FRESH.!! What a great find. Farm to table artisan pizzas, salads and a whole lot more. I cannot stress enough how good this was. I had a Farm Star salad and their lunch sized Classic pizza. The freshness and quality of the ingredients are great. The staff is very friendly and awaysl smiling. I would be too if I could eat there everyday. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Adding this to my Top 5 places to eat in Chico for sure.
