👍👍 This is probably the best medical care I've ever received (went in for a vasectomy). Staff was super courteous, caring, and professional, making me feel very safe and welcome there the whole time. Even went out of their way to figure out my complicated insurance situation, and made sure I understood... People often mention care, staff, appointment, wait, time, told, planned, ultrasound,

This is probably the best medical care I've ever received (went in for a vasectomy). Staff was super courteous, caring, and professional, making me feel very safe and welcome there the whole time. Even went out of their way to figure out my complicated insurance situation, and made sure I understood all the details of the procedure. Unlike the others here I had no trouble with wait times (but my appts were mid-afternoon). They always saw me within 5-10 minutes of showing up. Maybe it's different for walk-ins? A huge thank you to everyone there! I am grateful you're here.

The services I received were excellent. The staff was professional, open and approachable, attentive and compassionate. The wait was long, but I was told on the phone to prepare for a 2 hour visit, so I did not mind. Truly, I am happy to wait for quality service.

This place is spread too thin for the area it serves and has gone downhill in the last couple of years. If you are walking in, forget it; they will turn you away. Talk about a lack of empathy! I needed to see a Dr. for something simple, waited 45 minutes in line, only to be turned away. Make an appointment! When booking an appointment, you don’t talk to someone from this specific clinic but a person from an answering service. That in itself is incredibly impersonal. They don’t care if you can’t be seen same day, and are in pain (aka not enough pain to go to ER but not enough to ignore). They are not your neighbors. When it came to insurance, the woman who fielded my call led me under the false impression that I was qualified for FamilyPACT, which would of covered my costs. I was absolutely wrong! The woman at the clinic said that I needed insurance, which is not helpful when your copay is high and you know what’s wrong with you, and all you need is a piece of paper with the prescription. In the past, these guys were bomb. What they stand for is important to me, but they need to work on empathy, line triage, and bedside manner. They know that they are the only one in a small pond, so anything goes. Other PP clinics I’ve gone to have taken great care of me and are courteous and professional, but this place leaves you feeling...ok...

Dropped my friend off at her 4pm appt to get rid of a Birth Control implant at 3:50. She didn’t finally get back until 4:30. No one came in until 6pm saying they will be back with everything sterilized in 30 mins. It’s now 7:30 and no sign of them, They close at 8. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Either they need more staff or get off their butts and do their job.

Beautiful center and caring staff. The services I received at my appointment inJune were very good. The medical assistant who roomed me was warm and the provider really listened to me. The staff called me with a result and I felt the care was excellent.

I had an IUD removal at this place that went very wrong. It became stuck in my cervix for a month after that. St Joseph’s ER did nothing for the pain but was referred to another local obgyn that took a month to remove it via a dilation procedure at St Joseph’s. Several years later I’ve been told by fertility experts that as a PCOS patient, I should have never had an IUD to begin with. Unfortunately PP does not use any form of anesthesia to insert or take away the IUD, but I’ve heard of other places and countries that do offer pain relieving options. PP does a lot of good for people, but also people should do their own research on the process & possible long term damages of these birth control options in the event that you want to conceive later in life.

Great services and people but holy cow the wait times are crazy. Don't have anything planned for the rest of the day, you may be in the waiting area for 3 hours.

Wait times are always an hour after you are scheduled, once you're in the room it's another hour before seeing the doctor. I got a referral to St. Joes for an ultrasound but was never told I would need to schedule it. When I called St Joes to ask, they said they were still waiting for a referral from planned parenthood. Five days later with no news I call planned parenthood to ask and they said that the Eureka PP health center didn't do anything. Meanwhile I've been in pain the entire time. Unprofessional services.

Why give me a 10 am appointment when the NP actually couldn’t see me until 12pm? I would have turned the appointment down if they said it was actually for 12pm. I had to rush off to work since I want to keep my job. Lady at the front desk initially said she would take my co- pay at the end of the visit then switched up and took it before. Now I wasted my time, still need treatment, and I’m out 25 bucks. So annoying. They health care system continues to fail me whether it’s the planned parenthood in eureka or some fancy office in Beverly Hills. Thankfully this was just annoying and they didn’t permanently damage my body like some other place did to me before.

Obviously I can't afford or don't have medical insurance to have my kids sucked out new Hi-Tech and in a professional way .... He just make sure and call my ex before I go out there. Then I turn his throat into my own personal 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year drop off for my kids at daycare... (His throat) LoL!!!

Kind and caring staff. Really helped me and answered any questions I had. Edit: thought they helped me get a month of pills but nothing was done and I've been back and forth with phone calls to CVS and their office. Really put a damper on my day and my car gas

If you are going to me people wait over an hour to be called in for their appointment, for heavens sake please get some comfortable waiting room furniture.

I always have a wonderful experience here. The staff is friendly and so helpful. Yes, you WILL have to wait sometimes (even if you make an appointment) because they can get backed up. It’s never a problem with me — But if you don’t know this going into it, then you may get frustrated. Overall, I’m super grateful for everyone here!

Yes it's a long time to get anything done, came in with an appointment and it ended up being about 3 hours. BUT everyone is so nice and kind and friendly, protestors stay down the road so it's not spooky to drive or walk in. Insurance is always tricky but that's never their fault, they are as clear about cost as they can be.

I feel very cared for here. My expectations are always surpassed with careful care and attention from providers. I highly recommend going here. I feel very thankful to have this medical provider in our community.

The doctor was good, but all the staff were poor at listening and helping. I felt neglected. Go here, but express good care to ensure you get it. I even called the Northern CA office to express how I was greeted. I want back because symptoms did not go away, but worsened. I feel so disrespected when I come in here. Please avoid this place, under valued treatment. I hope this place closes for the sake of our community and the help we need here.

I came here when I discovered I was pregnant after having significant bleeding. I told them that I initially sought prenatal care but due to insurance issues i was quoted $400 for an appointment and $2000 for an ultrasound. Planned Parenthood specifically Dr. Gibson told me I didn't need one and sent me BACK to the place that quoted me $2000 for an ultrasound. Then they wrote in my patient notes I saw on mychart that I had DECLINED THE ULTRASOUND. An absolute lie. Turns out I was 5 months pregnant with identical twins sharing one placenta (more complications generally), and they told me I *did not* need an ultrasound from them at that time even though I hadn't had one yet and specifically came there looking for one and to verify I was pregnant. Not only did they decline to offer me an ultrasound but they only gave me a pregnancy test and even suggested an abortion to me at 5 months pregnant. This pregnancy ended in a full term stillbirth, and I think a lot of it had to do with the way reproductive healthcare is handled in this county. I'm disgusted with the way I was treated here, the way my unborn children were treated. The biggest thing is that when I had an abortion in the past, I was given an ultrasound without even asking for one, and they asked if I wanted to see the fetus. So ultrasounds are free standard routine , but why didn't they just do one when they realized I was so far along and right there.

The staff were so polite and kind to me during a time I was being very vulnerable. The woman with pink hair was an absolute angel, and was so helpful with my paperwork. Syd who did my screening was also so kind and a great listener. The ladies that work here really care about those who come in, and it shows!
