Very solid option when you're in the mood for chicken. The chicken itself is tender and tasty. I ordered the Country level of seasoning and while it's fairly plain, it's still perfectly good. The shake fries are very flavorful. The slaw and pickles are very good, but they don't have a sharp vinegar bite that some people love. The Mac and cheese is Boston Market caliber (if you know, you know). The pudding is also solid, but I wouldn't get it again at the price point. If you're looking for the biggest bang for your buck then get the sandwich, it's big and heavy. Couple that with a side of fries and you'll be stuffed.

As far a hot chicken sandwiches goes this is as good as it gets, especially locally and is honestly one of the best I've ever had. Nice thick crispy chicken breast but still really juicy and would be flavorful even if I didn't get it hot. Got it medium, I recommend hot if you love hot foods but perfect if you don't have high heat tolerance but want a nice kick. Slaw is perfect and not runny. Shake fries were good also. My brother had nuggets and those were just as good and I also had banana pudding that I ate in the car which was a mistake because I couldn't get another smh 🔥.

Chicken is yummy and always comes out fresh and hot!!! I wish they offered different fries or even tots im not crazy about crinkle fries! Their ranch is delicious! And for those picky soda drinkers they only offer Hosmer soda. But service is always excellent and restaurant clean. Would recommend to anyone who loves chicken tenders or chicken sandwiches.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered chicken tenders, french fries, cole slaw, and mac n cheese. The chicken was medium heat, very tasty, moist, and tender. Very satisfying. The cole slaw was strangely dry but had a vinegar taste in every bite. The fries had been sitting a bit and the macaroni was average. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 7.8.

Delicious Fried Chicken, amazing flavor on the spices. My husband and I have ate here on a couple of occasions and look forward to many more visits. They have different levels of heat for their chicken. •You have the Country which has no heat, but a good honestyle batter. •Mild which has very minimal heat. •Medium heat starts to get a little burn (one of the heats we typically choose, not the most flavorful weirdly enough, but still really good), •Hot as they describe burn baby, burn (This is the other heat we typically get and the flavor is amazing with this one, you do get a burn, but the flavor is kickin') •Code breaker (their menu states) Do you really want to do this? Try at your own risk. I love some spicy food and some days I can handle spice better than others, but be acknowledgeable about how much you can take. I want to try code breaker, but their hot usually puts me down. So if you can't handle spice order accordingly! (For some clarification which may help to order, I have been known on some days to find a McDonald's Spicy Chicken sandwich too spicy, but then there are days when I can sit down eat fresh jalapeños straight and chicken with ghost pepper seasoning without an issue and not be satisfied because I'm looking for something spicier. An average spice day for me would be somewhere in between) The one and only complaint would have to be the price, my husband, myself and my inlaws each got a meal, 1 drink each and 2 banana puddings. With tip the total came to just over 90.00. I will say this, the taste and texture of the chicken is undoubtedly amazing and all the price point does is makes it so we may not eat here as often as we would like, but we will continue to frequent this establishment.

Better than Popeyes!! If you love Popeyes chicken sandwich then you will love this place more. Their chicken sandwich has a very thick chicken breast with coleslaw and yummy sauce. Everything has wonderful flavors and is cooked to perfection. Fries are seasoned well and the banana pudding is light and sweet which is a perfect dessert after a hearty chicken sandwich. This restaurant just might be the very best chicken in CT. Highly recommend and I’m definitely going to bring my family and friends here because I know they will love it too!

Getting right down to it, a chicken sandwich from this place = juicy breast with amazing batter and excellent fry. An absolute pleasure to eat whatever your spice tolerance. However if you're looking for a challenge their highest spice level is sure to tingle. I eat at least one spicy dish per day and the code breaker still left a slow burn in my mouth!

The employees are very nice. The cashier is always helpful, and never tries to rush us to order. The workers that let us know our order is ready, are very polite and always ask if we need anything else or help with bringing the food over to our table. Very clean restaurant, including the restrooms 😊👍 Indoor and outdoor seating, and the food is always amazing. I definitely recommend this restaurant for all you chicken lovers 😋

Had our first meal at BirdCode. Everything was delicious. I would rate this 4.5 stars if I could. I wish they had a Coke Refill soda machine and added a few more fries to my meal. But everything we ate was great and will definitely try again.

Great service, Kevin was so nice. Our first time here and we loved it!!! Tender chicken and not greasy, everything was fresh. Chicken sandwiches were huge! You can order different spicy intensities, mild had a kick, Ill be ordering the country chicken patty next time with no added flavor. We definitely will come back. Ordered two Sando sammiches and one order of fries. The code breaker- not super flavorful, just ridiculously hot and painful. Soggy bun 😞 Thought it was way overpriced for what it’s worth. Decor was cool, was excited to try this place but will probably just go to Popeyes next time.. $35 for two people to eat was a bit steep. I do have to say, the service was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly, and helpful!

Tenders are my favorite food so when I say these are the best tenders I think I ever had that's saying something. Something about the texture and the crunch that's just chefs kiss* The prices are good as well.Customer service is not just friendly but helpful and always energetic. The chicken is spicy but typically when u pick something most would find unbearably spicy they will warn you so if that wasn't what u wanted, u can then choose something more suitable. The only down side to this place....They're taking all my money!!! 😩It's just so addicting lol

I've been ordering from BIRDCODE for a long time, and have been genuinely happy for probably 30+ orders. However, the last 3 orders have come without utensils via Uber Eats, even though I ask for them, so I can't actually eat the meal! The Mac & Cheese, despite being $6, is only filled up halfway in the cup when it used to be almost overflowing. Things are unfortunately heading a little downhill which is a damn shame because I loved this place. I hope it gets better!

Best hot chicken we have found in a long time in CT! Really good hot chicken with amazing customer service! We love to try out new hot chicken places & this did not disappoint. Their homemade sauce is out of this world & the chicken is seasoned well. Their “heat chart” it very accurate. A good variety of drinks, including water, various sodas, beer, milk & iced teas. We will definitely be coming back.

A solid option for fried chicken, especially chicken sandwiches. Another spot without reasonable heat escalation though. Still haven't found a happy medium in CT. Respectable drink selection. Staff is friendly and helpful. The wait has been reasonable the handful of times I've been here. In the area, this is probably the best option at the moment.

I put my order in 2 minutes before I got to the restaurant and by the time I got there my food was already ready and it was fresh and hot. The food was delicious, the batter on the chicken was so crunchy but still light enough to were I could taste the juicy ness of the chicken. I drove 45 minutes to try this place and it was worth the ride !!!

An absolutely beautiful restaurant with incredibly friendly staff and delicious food. Portions are generous, staff is very knowledgable/attentive (they checked in on us while we were eating inside to make sure everything was excellent), and the speed at which food is ready is impressive! I've never had a wait for takeout longer than 15 minutes and my food was ready in 5 minutes last time I ate inside. Outdoor seating is wonderful for the summer! Highly recommend. Best hot chicken in the area.

The food is good, I like their chicken sandwich and my children prefer the tenders. I usually go for the mild sauce, after a couple of times already having made the mistake of trying the medium one which is already very spicy for the average human. Service is great, staff is friendly and helpful

I believe I first saw this on TikTok and figured why not try it out? The atmosphere is bright and clean. The staff were extremely kind and helpful with our order. The mac and cheese was creamy. The fries were well cooked (not my favorite fries, but alright). I like that they have the Hosmer soda brand. And even though I didn't get a beer, I like that they had the option. The most important part, the chicken. It was great. I probably would get tenders next time instead of my chicken sandwich. I tend to like smaller or flatter pieces of chicken, but if I did enjoy thick chicken breasts, it would be phenomenal. The breading on the chicken was greasy and crispy. Ngl, it was good chicken. Even though this is a hot chicken restaurant, I got the country non-spicy chicken sandwich (I loved it). And my SO bought a medium level of spice, which was decently spicy. 🔥 Oh! and I really like the boxes that the food came in!
