This place is awesome, I’d say equivalent to 5 star level service by staff. The staff are so kind and so respectful of the guests that they wish where ever they see the guest. Moreover I was taken care of throughout my stay where the staff came and visited to ask if my stay was pleasant and if I needed something. The reception staff is good who make frequent calls if something was wrong and if place was clean if not they’ll arrange the cleaning. Best part is the extreme kind staff and next comes the cleanliness with sweet scent all around the hotel. The bathrooms were extreme clean. Would visit again for sure.

I was so happy with the service provided by the Hotel. Yes, the hotel is a bit inside from the main road, but it is so close to the central railway station and in the centre of the city. How you see out of the Hotel is not the same as inside. Hotel is clean and the staff are so good. Most what I like was the staff are “At your Service”. This is what we don’t find in most of the Hotels today after giving many levels of training in Guest Service. I appreciate their warm welcome and their extraordinary service and hospitality. I could rate 5* for the staff as pro active and their immediate attention. In addition I don’t want to miss adding this “Staff were very polite”. If I visit Chennai again, I would choose and recommend my friends and family to choose because of the staff and the cleanliness of the Hotel. I repeat and would ask to keep continuing the same service and Hospitality to retain your Guest as always! Keep it up Hydel Park Hotel!

Just a 5min walk away from Chennai Central, very hygiene rooms and good reception & service. Multiple hotels to have food nearby according to your taste and budget. Had good time with my family, I would say go for it.

The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. They also were able to recommend places for my 2 y/o son to get any type of meal that we needed as well. Rooms are super comfy and clean. Overall it is a complete package for the value.

They even came for cleaning twice a day - sometimes we got it done twice, sometimes once as it wasn't needed. Our room was 144 sq ft - perfect for two people, Neat & clean, towels & bedsheets got changed daily and the staff also helped us bringing Tea & snacks from outside. The staff was really humble, polite and helpful and were the reason we extended our stay there from 2 days to 1.5 weeks as it was really difficult to give up that vibe and those people and take risk in booking anywhere else. I would rate both the staff and the hotel 10/10 and surely stay here on my next visit.

Stayed 2 days here with family (north Indian) Good side 1. Near to railway station ( you can get 80-100 rupees rickshaw) till here , if you have less luggage , you can probably walk till here. 2. Stay is really courteous , they will make sure to feel you safe and make your stay comfortable. 3. Staff : If you have to order food , they will help you in ordering ( if you are veg , order from Andra Bhavan Canteen nearby , mostly their thali) worth the price. 4. Electric Kettle / Plates : Even if you order from outside , they will provide plates/cups. Negative 1. Location : The surroundings are really shabby and our cab couldn't reach upto here , so if you have lots of luggage you will face difficulty. 2. Restaurant : Since they don't have inhouse restaurant , you have to order from nearby places (they will help you in deciding) and sometimes will get the food for you. It is values for money restaurant and given the location and staff , I would love to stay here again . Please upvote if you have liked this review.

The hotel Provides a clean family room and clean bathroom. Free wifi with average download and upload speed. Near central Chennai, and Municipal corporation of Chennai. Good hotel, nice staff, they understand Hindi also. They have tied up with restaurants and cab services, and you can order these services from the room. The breakfast area was closed.

I have stayed at The Hydel Park, Chennai for two nights in the month of January, 2024. This Hotel is close to Central Railway Station though it is little bit inside from the main road. The rooms of this Hotel are spacious, very clean and their staffs are superb. The behavior of the staffs during our stay at this hotel really touched us. This Hydel Park Hotel has tie ups with two nearby restaurants and we have taken breakfast using this service. Really memorable during our stay is the cleanliness maintained at this Hotel throughout once anyone enters this hotel and their superb hospitality. We have really enjoyed during our stay here for a brief period.

Centrally located near the Rippon Building . Best service . The rooms are so clean and compact . Highly recommended .Food alone is not provided along with the package . But the room service people will help you out , if you are not able to step out for food . Reception people are very active . Bathrooms are soo clean . This place is very near to the metro station , we’re you can easily reach airport in 40 mins . A2B hotel is a bliss for all the vegetarians out there . This hotel is also very near to Sangeetha hotel which is just 10 mins away from the hotel and for good morning South Indian breakfast , I suggest Murugan idly which is 500 metres away from hydel park . All together this hotel is finely located with all great amenities.

Really clean rooms, with ac, and clean bathrooms also. Good for 3 to 4 days stay with family. Location is near the central railway station. And really good restaurants at walking distance too. Service was also good. Staff were really polite and courteous. They do not have any dogs inside but have 2 cute persian cats.

It's a very good hotel in this budget. Rooms are good and well maintained. Staff are polite and helpful. There is no restaurant in hotel, however you can order food with room service or opt for Swiggy. The entrance of the hotel is a bit narrow and Car/Cab entry is not feasible, so you need to walk few steps, but that's ok considering the price paying for this stay.

Ok. Now these guys are threatening by asking to delet the review as I gave one star. This shows how bad they are. I didn't reserve a room. But I came there to take a room straight from the railway station after a long and tiering journey. At first they said they had a room but refused to give the room as we were a male and female they can't give rooms like that. So we asked if they can provide two different rooms. They refused that too. We went there by searching hotels in google and looking at the reviews. But what we experienced was opposite of the review. Very disappointed in it.Actually he was my brother but the address in our id proof were different because i am married and my id proof has my husbands address. We came to the vfs centre as we had an appointment the next day. We travelled 814 kilometers to get there. That is 16 hours approximately. We were so tiered and just wanted to take rest. we felt treated like people who came to do something illegal or unethical things by the staff. We went to another hotel but they provided us with much better service. Like in which time period are these guys living.

I stayed here to attend my friend's wedding. This hotel is nearby Chennai Central metro, Chennai Central Railway station and Chennai Egmore Railway Station. The rooms are clean and neat. The hotel staff are very polite and helpful. They helped with my trolley bags and also helped with travel within the city.

If I could, I’d rate it half star. Don’t be fooled by the pictures of their property. It’s pathetic, with no parking available and narrow,dingy approach roads. They don’t have cutlery, if you ask for 4 spoons, they say they have only 3! If you ask for a couple extra glasses, they say you already have 2, why do you need extra?! We had to go park our car at some other hotel every night despite being reassured that they’ll arrange for it. Communication is pretty bad. The only positive thing that merits this one star is the food- which they get from another restaurant, but they get nevertheless! Never gonna stay or even come close to this place again! Waste of money.

Fantastic Experience.. I stayed with my family during our visit to Chennai.. Location is great.. Both Metro & Central railway railway is within the walking distance.. Management is very friendly.. Great Hospitality.. Entrance is of the hotel is bit back-sided through a lane but that shouldn't be a issue..

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was very courteous and always ready to help. We stayed here for 1 night to visit Apollo Hospital and the manager was kind enough to let us stay for an additional 3 hours after check-out time. They even helped to manage lunch from outside upon requesting even if they had staff shortage during festival timing. There is only one problem with this hotel and that being there entry gate. It's facing is completely opposite to the main road and reaching there via cab is some-what problematic considering the thin connecting lane. However their manager helped me a lot for connecting with cab drivers and requesting them to come to the entrance which is highly commendable.

We were provided with good room, staff service and hygiene. We were given good guidance and helped us in local language. We suggest you to put up the food and beverages from your hotel itself. Thank you for your great service and Cooperation.

This is my 3rd stay at Hydel park and it's awesome. I have known Sophiya madam from last two years, her behavior is very good,so that you don't feel like you are away from family. She take care about all things. Hot water is available 24 hours and it's really hot enough, boys who working there will bring you the things you want immediately without any delay , they smile every time and that make a day. The staff there is very good. All you have to do is make a phone call and the person will appear. Room is big enough for me.. nit and clean every time , They send housekeeping persons two time in day for cleaning. I made a new frnd there.. Brownie 😍 Be sure to meet her after visit , she is very friendly in nature and cute.

Place was decent.. staff was over worked... No parking , staff was very kind and apologetic about parking issues..but it's not in their hands...the hotel should have some one designated and manage the parking problem...the pics and the hotel don't match... It's quite misleading. Stay was comfortable , good shower , peaceful room... Decent overal.

Good service, located very close to the Central Station. Rooms are decent. They don’t have their own restaurant which is a bummer but they provide food from 2 nearby places. The Location is a little shady. There is a cute cat Brownie to make the place better. Would recommend for a short stay for the price.

Great place, well maintained rooms, the staff are very helpful. Food is not available though from wherever you order it, it's delivered to your room. The service staff even fetch the food from nearby restaurants. The hygiene is well maintained as rooms are cleaned everyday. We as a family had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is located in an alley opposite to the Ripon building. The reception was extremely supportive and well behaved. The room allotted to us was spacious with excellent ambient lighting. Bed linen, bathroom, etc were well maintained, neat and tidy. Parking lot is available. They arranged airport drop at 3am in the morning. The only problem that I noticed was the narrow alley. I would surely recommend stay in Green Suite

Had 8 night stay in Hydel Park. Might feel as flattering in wot am saying, but its a fact that we wont have a feeling like we are away from our home. Every person working over there were very much friendly to me. They provided a feel like home atmosphere. From the receptionist till room boys, every one are attentive. Its a feel like home place. Special mentioning to Sophia, Raj n many more whose names am not aware. Thnx a lot.

It is very nice hotel. Staff is polite and supportive. Service is quick. Best part is that MGR central metro is in front of hotel. Price range is also very affordable. Only breakfast quantity is very less and not buffet system as they order from outside. They do offer breakfast and water bottles as complimentary Overall nice.
