This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are very spacious and well designed. The room service is also very good and food was awesome with plenty of options in buffet. This is most recommended hotel in Bangalore if you are planning to visit. Location is the most busiest place, hence you may face some traffic to reach this place.

If you want cheap and big room, this hotel could be good choice. But do not expect well maintained furniture, clean water. Facility is very old

It's a 4 star hotel apparently. But can see lack of maintenance in the property. In the toilet water was not draining at all. Smells cigeratte in the corridors. Hotel was spacious and staff were helpful but felt not worth the price due to lack of proper maintenance of building and cleanliness

Spacious rooms. But the rooms were smelling full of cigarette smokes. They should have two charging points near beds. Good for breakfast. Room service is little slow. I once called for plates and spoons. Waited and eventually had to walk till the kitchen to tell them to give in my room. Shower gel tubes are too small. The swimming pool was not clean. Overall I would say an okayish experience. A little expensive for what they should price themselves at.

The first thing that was noticeable was that the staff were not well trained. The housekeeping staff gave me only one towel for shower and nothing else. The bath gel tubes were not replaced on time. The waiters at the restaurant have very poor communication skills and response was poor. As for the room, it was spacious but hardly any openings except for a tiny window that opens inside to a mall. Overall the room in spite of being spacious, felt very claustrophobic. Their is a kitchen space in the room but without a microwave. Hence that space is not much of value. The front desk is pereptually confused and refused to give me office drop and pickup even though it was booked. It took them one day to realize their mistake and they started to offer the service from Day2. Even on Day2, they imposed a restriction that I have to return from office by 6pm. So the return was on Uber 😀. As for the location it seems to be good but in Bangalore there is no good location. Traffic jams everywhere. It's a nightmare to be in Bangalore. Overall pretty bad experience at this hotel and will definitely avoid it for subsequent business travels to Bangalore. Somehow this hotel seems to be very reluctant to provide service just like the city.

I don't know who all has given 4 and 5 star reviews (might be based on service 2 years earlier). We was suppose to stay here for a week but looking at the service of the hotel we checked out on the very next day. House keeping is non Existing , washrooms has huge water blockage (changed my room twice on the same day.Rooms are too dark. Same breakfast provided everyday. Not worth the amount they are charging.

Surprised by other reviewers & ratings. Chose this place based on trip advisor ratings. May be they were all on business trip and didn’t care about family needs. Even while checking in, there were two families quarreling with front desk. Worst experience. Stagnant water in shower floor. Nothing could be done about it, since drain was poorly designed. Dirty floors, doubt if housekeeping is being done regularly or not. We’d booked through a different vendor. Supervisor was rude until we’d to cancel spending 45 mins over phone. Catering place ambience was good but again food supervisor was apologetic due to a rude incident by one of their staff while asking to clear buffet plates from our table. Definitely wouldn’t recommend to any Family staying.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and I must say that I was quite impressed with my experience. The rooms were very spacious and provided ample space for me to move around comfortably. The service was pretty good and the staff was always willing to assist me with any queries I had. One thing that stood out for me was the fantastic breakfast that was served every morning. The spread was quite extensive and had a variety of options to choose from. It definitely gave me a great start to my day. The only drawback, however, was the location of the hotel. It is situated on a very busy street of a vegetable market which can be quite noisy and chaotic at times. However, this did not affect my overall experience at the hotel. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great service and food.

Rooms were good but could be better- lot of water stains on the faucets. Excellent service!! Thanks to the older mustached gentleman who helped me with the luggage, forgot to get his name. The buffet was very good, but not exceptional. The surrounding area leaves much to be desired. The cross street had smell of sewage and my room view was overlooking some lower income housing-not a pretty sight. Also there were dogs in those lower income homes which woke me up one night.

Place was quiet and comfortable. Stayed in the executive room which had an attached kitchenette. Beds...mattress...pillows were comfortable.

It was really a great experience in staying here.completely Clean and Hygienic customer service is extremely good. Rooms are very spacious and unique, all facilities are available as per our requirements. The hotel is worth ,good behaviour from staff side.

Very spacious rooms, has a rooftop swimming lane, the in room dining has all type of cuisines and if you don't have any extravagant in mind the food is decent, zomato and swiggy are allowed, and hotel provides cab drops to office if you converse in advance

An amazing hotel with a very spacious room. They have a beautiful restaurant adjacent to the hotel lobby at the 4th level. Staffs are very caring and I recommend this hotel to every one to come and stay. I got a very good deal in their weekend offer. Love to come back again

Rooms are very nice but only one disadvantage we have to leave since we didn’t know smoking was not allowed in Rooms and could invite our friends for party so we have to switch to another hotel and hope we get our return from Make my Trip , in Make My Trip the rules were not mentioned correctly. Anyway its sad to go from this play after paying so much money.

Manager Dushant is not customer friendly. Rude to customers in a hospitality business. Hotel staff is not customer friendly. Would not recommend this hotel to anybody. Have had good experience in the past but since this manager has got bad attitude. Would not come back for sure.

Ambience of the hotel is good, and the rooms are spacious too and well maintained. Food was good, and surprisingly was very reasonably priced, similar to any regular restaurant and not a hotel. Only reason for the 4 Star review is the power cut management. They did not have an online generator, and power cuts resulted in 30 sec to a min of darkness everytime. Also, showers were not having pressure motors, or having very low pressure.

I stayed here from 7th Sept to 8th and my experience was pathetic. The hotel is not maintained at all and very pricey for what they are offering. The rooms we were given were very far off, we had requested for 2 rooms together but were not given so. The rooms were terrible- dark, dodgy and services below 0. There are no windows or any sight of outside world from rooms. The services are also bad. Specially, do not take room 727. The drainage in our room didn't work and when we complained, the front desk person said, I will give you a good room next time you book with us. What kind of resolution is that? I am definitely not going back there and wouldn't recommend anyone else too. Also, the pics of the hotel you see online are very old and deceiving. There were no amenities and the pool was dirty beyond usage with garbage floating in the pool.

The rooms were nice, breakfast is good, welcome staff at the entrance were good, but the service and the basic needs were missing. The rooms didn’t have hot water, the management says lukewarm water is hot water. The manager understood the issue kept assuring me that it will be resolved we waited for 2 nights and had to cancel the rest of the nights and leave. Issue resolution is very bad at this hotel.

Breakfast buffet has good variety and qualiy is good. Rooms could do with a TON of extreme makeover . Staff could be more courteous and well mannered. Rooms are big, but again, could do with some spoons, plates and spoons , forks etc placed in the suites( no point having a whole kitchenette with NOTHING in the way of spoons , knives and plates.. 🙄!) Staff should be able to deliver online food to rooms - especially considering the endless "inception" like corridors to get to the elevator and also considering the hotel room service food sucks big-time and we had to rely on Zomato !

These people looted in the name of new year party.. while booking they have shown that it's roof top but it's inside the hall and they mentioned food coupons where they gave only 1 coupon for 2 entries and said other one is cut as a entry charge.

We went for private pool side dinner... It was the worst... The food is pukish... Definitely spoiled, uncooked, road side food.. when we complained the food served ws cold, The butler John throw attitude and said food comes from 4th floor and this is what we give. The overall experience was depressing, spoiled the mood of birthday. I don't encourage anyone for that. Please improve the service. The whole point of booking a private dinner is for the good food and service. Felt 😞 awful

The suites are well appointed and spacious though the bedroom area could have been allocated more space. The hotel is above a mall - fourth floor onwards. Mobile network is certainly an issue here. And the Wi-Fi provided by the hotel was not good enough. Five star to the restaurant and it's staff. Good was good. Staff very helpful and courteous.

Was there as a guest (for two hours) to visit the person who stayed there for a week. The room he stayed had stench of cigarette ( he is a non smoker too), but absolutely no noise despite the fact that the property is at one of the busiest junctions in the city. The staff seem courteous and the buffer options were great. For a non smoker, this place may not impress much. Wish the management takes this feedback seriously and do something about it.

One of the good hotels for business. I was upgraded from a normal to this and it was amazing. Staff was helpful and courtious, rooms were clean, location is good & being next to the mall helps. The breakfast options need work and there was a stench of cigarette smell in the corridor.

An excellent hotel indeed. I don't know what people are complaining about this hotel? A very very cordial management, a very welcoming staff. Full 5 star behaviour with great Interior and business outlook. And the best part? Their restaurant! I dont know how a restaurant manages to cook every dish to the same perfect standard. Before booking this hotel i saw some google reviews and was sceptical about this particular stay. But my my was i surprised. I saw someone complaining about the room service. Well,to be true there is some miscommunication within the service desk and the actual service providers. But nothing major as it happened only once and i called in room service for over 10 times . And in room dining was swift. The restaurant is excellent. The food is excellent. Only thing they should focus on is maintaining their lavish interior. The rooms need modern grooming. Fix these and this hotel will become unbeatable!!! Best wishes for the portico team. The management is eager for feedback and they keep improving. And no this is not a paid review. This is a honest review from a person coming into Bangalore for treatment. Overall satisfactory experience.

It's a really nice hotel, with a nice view of the city from the terrace. The rooms are awesome, with all amenities there including refrigerator, microwave, kettle, TV. They have pool, gym and halls on terrace. The only con i felt was that the service does takes a little more time than it should.

Nice rooms, nice food quality and service is also superb. The only problem is hotel does not provide their own cab facility. They have some third party vendors for cabs but that is just too costly.

Amazing Hotel. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are spacious and you will get an infinity pool on the top floor. This place offers everything right from conf rooms to gym and swimming pool. The rates are on a bit expensive side but apart from this, everything was on point.

A little disappointed with the overall experience. Was travelling solo. Friendly staff. The room that was given to me was decent. Spacious and clean. On the other hand, dim lights, faded linen, ultra slow draining wash basin, no slippers and a closed pool. Was it worth the money? I don’t think so. I have had great experience at Sarovar Portico but this wasn’t one among them.

An excellent hotel. Great interiors, a proper executive suite with good lighting, very comfy furniture and very spacious rooms in a well-designed room plan. I truly felt at home during my stay here in August '22. Great room service and restaurant food as well. Swimming pool and rooftop view looked fantastic. Would highly recommend a visit here for a stay in Bangalore.

Rooms are the best big in size compiled with kitchen and fridge, good for long stay, staff start from reception to Housekeeping and restaurant are very polite and always smiling The food was delicious and the buffet is always fresh even if you are the last guest of the day. They have a pool at the top floor where you can chill in the evening the city view from there will mesmerize you.

It was quite a good one with four star status and the hospitality is also good. The ambience was almost well with a good lift facility . Reception is in the fourth floor. Parking- good Over all: 4/5

A day stay with my family. A very memorable stay. The room is spacious with all amenities like a refrigerator, oven, electric kettle and kitchen cabinet. I really liked the ambience and hospitality of the people. The pool on the terrace is very well maintained and the gym is fully equipped. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The bar has exotic drinks. The most memorable was my birthday cake prepared by an in-house chef and my 11 month old son relished the taste of it

A very nice ambience for a good meal.. Must try is fish starter and prawn starter.. Service was really impressive as they have you on the top of their priority. They have valet parking available here so there is no hassle of finding a parking slot in the crowded area of Madivala. You can try this place for a happy buffet spread.

I went there for an event and found the food to be just about decent. Didn't stay overnight so cannot comment on rooms or staying experience. Overall, came across to be an average place - nothing special good or bad.

I'm from malaysia... stayed here a couple of days... very warm welcoming..at the front desk.. staffs were very helpful... food was good... breakfast a variety was served rooms were kept very clean.. room service was very prompt n staffs were very pleasant and approachable. should consider staying here again with family and friends.

The hotel rooms are really Good. Very spacious and clean. Housekeeping should be more careful in cleaning as there were 2 used soaps were left in the shower area. The buffet is decent. I could have give 4-5 star but the front desk lady mrunali need to learn how to speak politely. Don't put people on the front desk if they cannot handle group check out. Rest all is good. It's surely in the list of recommendations.

This is my home most of the time when I come to Bangalore. The rooms are quiet, spacious, clean, and the staff is always helpful. The breakfast buffet is always good (get the masala dosa with coconut chutney!) and they do great ice cream and sandwiches / burgers as well.

I have attended our last conference on behalf of visionnet and I enjoyed the food and service thoroughly. Nijo and Partha from the hotel were very efficient. They managed almost 500 people crowd so efficiently. Meeting facilities were absolutely great 👍 Best wishes to Davanam hotel team

I stayed so lone time in this hotel but we fell like our house, the hotel staff are too helpful and friendly, food is also good and and room is clean and comfortable, all housekeeping staff is very good.
