My
wife
and
I
had
lunch
at
YZK
during
our
brief
one-week
stopover
in
Santiago.
We
would
definitely
have
returned
many
times
if
we
were
staying
here
longer.
I
had
the
Italia
Vurger
that
was
a
Not
Co
patty
smothered
in
creamy
avocado
and
topped
with
perfectly
ripe
tomatoes
on
a
vegan
bun
from
a
local
bakery.
It
was
hard
getting
my
mouth
around
it
and
it
was
REALLY
messy
to
eat,
but
it
was
well
worth
the
effort.
Brenda
had
the
mushroom
and
avocado
arepa
that
she
found
quite
delicious
and
very
filling,
particularly
as
we
also
shared
a
serving
of
the
Papas
Supremas,
a
mountain
of
french
fries
covered
in
melted
vegan
cheddar,
diced
tomatoes
chives
and
Not
Co
ground
meat.
We
washed
everything
down
with
a
liter
of
a
homemade
concotion
of
cane
sugar
juice
and
lemon
juice
that
was
delicious
and
refreshing.
We
also
had
an
opportunity
to
chat
with
Ronald,
the
owner,
who
speaks
perfect
English
and
gave
us
the
backround
on
the
restaurant
and
explained
how
many
of
the
dishes,
and
the
restaurant,
are
named
after
his
childern.
He
was
delightful.
The
restaurant
is
a
little
hard
to
spot
as
it
shares
a
common
space
with
three
other
eating
establishments,
but
if
you
look
for
the
address
and
keep
your
eyes
peeled,
you'll
be
rewarded
with
some
of
the
best
vegan
fast
food
you'll
ever
eat.
