The food was delicious along with the wine. We got oysters to start off and I got the beef tartare. The server was also very nice. The bathrooms especially were the highlight considering they had fancy bidets and it was very clean.

I love this place! Great food, great drinks. Some of the waiters/waitresses are good but not excellent, and my thought is that this is because the servers are not allowed to accept tips. They would be much more enthusiastic with customers if they could look forward to a reward after the client's experience. Within the last 3 weeks, I've been there 3 or 4 times. I must say that some servers are wonderful. But that's a few of them. I'd love to tip the exceptional servers.

Loved it! It may sound stupid but get a quiche Lorraine - the crust alone makes the dish. Staff was very good, excellent setting, excellent wine choices. Chilean ingredients handled with French sensitivity.

Wine is great, food is great, the guys working behind the bar are friendly and helpful. I actually come here alot. The problem is, all the waitresses, and I mean ALL, were VERY VERY VERY rude. They were dismissive, unfriendly and very difficult, everything was a problem for them, it made you feel guilty for be in there. I actually don't think I've had such rude service in Chile.

The food is good, but if you really pay attention you'll notice it's not very creative at all, somewhat bland and overpriced for what it is. Santiago has more exciting places to eat for less money. What really was disappointing, however, was the service. The waiters forgot things, took a long time to bring stuff and had zero patience to explain the menu. I do not recommend this place.

It's ok. Overpriced for what you get. I ordered a merluza dish, but i was not aware it was going to be so boring. The garnish was dry, white rice with a bit of sautéed veggies that did not add up anything at all. Truly disappointing. The place is nice anyway

Nice restaurante with a great wine collection, you can have Dinner here and also buy a few wine bottles to go. Anything we eat was good (check the pictures). Drinks are very good also, ask for a Pisco, you are not going to feel disappointed for sure. Even dessert was great, we tried several of them.

Fine dining place, with a mediterranean cuisine. The txipirones were exquisite, the octopus tender and flavourful, and the lamb was aslo cooked to perfection! We found the cheese platter to be a bit lacking in flavour, and the Merluza a la Vasca dish a bit bland. A good selection of wines, very attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere.

The food was quite good. The service was great except a bit slower than preferred. Still, the experience was enjoyable.

Had a great meal out on the patio. This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and didn't disappoint. Excellent food and wine selection. Would return if we were in Santiago.

Good service. Great food and drink. But it is almost impossible to book and not recommend to walk in. All in all, very impressive restaurant.

Baco is a very well-known restaurant in Providencia, a perfect place to discover or rediscover French classics and a wide variety of wines from all regions of Chile. Very good service and welcoming waiters. The front terrace is really great in the summer, and I really appreciate that they have a non-smoking terrace area. In my opinion, the oysters, the confit de canard, the steak tartare and raviolis are the tastiest options on the menu. But really I encourage everyone to go dine multiple times so they can taste different dishes. I have been a client for years, and everything always is soooo delicious and well prepared.

What a lovely surprise ! I didn't know what to order and then the waitress showed me that I could click on the name of a dish from the menu and it would open its photo. So I asked for the Squid, which comes with a risotto. Absolutely lovely 😍!

This could become my new favourite place! There's a great selection of wine by the glass that I just haven't found anywhere else in Santiago yet. It's not cheap, but it's good, with attentive service and a nice vibe. The food was lovely too.

Great place. Classy and busy. I came mainly to try wine and it did not disappoint. They have about 15 wines by the glass and they are served at the correct temperature! Prices were pretty fair. About 6000/glass on average, I think. Good service. Lots of wines by the bottle. An attractive crowd. I only wish I'd gone more.

Undoubtedly the best French food in the city. Consistently great food and service. Only the waiting times are long since it is so popular so better to arrive early and not-too-hungry just in case you have to wait. But it is totally worth the wait. Great selection of wine and even the non-alcoholic drinks are so refreshing. Loved the desserts (the portions are so big)!

We went around 6pm on a Weds, and there are still many tables available. We ordered onion soup, grilled beef, arroz con seafood and crème brûlée. Everything is so delicious. The onion soup is the most similar to what we had in Paris, and crème brûlée is just even more delish.

Easily one of the best dining options in Santiago. The food is exquisite, the atmosphere is refined and pleasant, the service is great. All that for a competitive price. Honestly you can't go wrong here, just stop looking and seat down for the perfect meal.

Amazing restaurant, very attentive service Initially put off from reviews about the waiters and waitress, however they were all brilliant. Food was delicious and wine was excellent and they also have a good selection of beers. Great value for money. Would eat here for lunch and dinner if we returned

This is one of those restaurants where whatever you order it is a guaranteed delight. This brasserie has become a must in Santiago. Excellent service under a tip-free policy.

One of my favourite places in Santiago. Honest, unfussy, genuine classic French dishes (with some outside influences) backed up by a broad and absurdly reasonably priced wine list. You can easily lose a whole afternoon here without even trying.

Baco was a really pleasant surprise! Un-fussy dishes with spot on execution and an incredible wine selection. I was very pleased with my Duck Confit and my wife was very happy with her main as well! We had a delicious pile of oysters also! Definitely not the worst meal we’ve had on our trip so far!

They had a nice selection of beers and wines from the region and the Food was wonderful. The portions were perfect and balanced. I don't expect an English menu in every restaurant, but it would have been nice; I got along fine with Google translate.

Food was excellent but the service was a bit poorly. I admit that it was really busy but our waitress was all over the place. Twice she forgot what we ordered and came back to ask again what did we order. 5 star for the food and wine

Probably my favorite restaurant I’ve been to in Santiago. Every dish I’ve had has been flawless, service is quick, wine menu is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. The open atmosphere here makes it a super pleasant dining experience. 10/10 I have recommended it to all my friends and coworkers, and will make a point of coming back here next time I am in Santiago

I could never recomed this place to anyone, the staff is very rude and disrespecfull. I have a medical condition called alopecia that Im very sensitive about, the restaurant managemet refused to served us unless I removed my hat, revealing my hair lost patch condition. I talked to the manager about my condition and she said that they have a very strick dress code policy... mean while, other patrions were served wearing t-shirts and flip flops... I can't say for sure, but I'm darker skin and im not sure if this fact influenced the manager decision to refusing to served us.

Excellent food, atmosphere and service. The sea orchins, abalone and cogotes de merluza were at it's best.

Always is a good experience at Baco. The oysters were fresh and the fish was perfect. The wine selection is very sofisticated. This restaurant is always consistent. Be aware of your belongings when you seat at the terrace.

This restaurant is great value and has a lot of great wines by the glass. The steak tartare is great. I also like that they have a price that is inclusive of service fees.

A friend invited me for a long lunch This means we started at 2pm until late night. This spot is have great ambience, service and the food was amazing. Good options for wine too. I would say on eof my favorite was the meat tartare.

Great place, wonderfully designed and a superb service. You'll find 4 or 5 dishes by category, and a short but great selection of wines in different strains. It's definitely not low end, but also not too overpriced for what you get. We ordered gnocchi with 4 cheese sauce, veggie lasagna and steak, and everything was delicious, for the same price you get a normal quality dish in other restaurants. Special mention to the wall embedded heater outside, is a really nice detail. Also very good restrooms.

Great French onion soup. Amazing duck confit, vegetarian lasagna and hake. Desserts were okay and not impressive. Still a good restaurant nonetheless and I enjoyed the meal thoroughly!
