(Translated by Google) Beautiful place, special to disconnect from the city, we stayed in the refuge and did the trekking to the glacier, approximately 16.5 km round trip, all good but because of the number of people who are arriving I think that the refuge's baths are done guys, but it's just a detail. Simply a place to enjoy nature and the majesty of the Andes mountain range.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful place with exquisite very fresh wind. The walk to the glacier is 9km one way of low difficulty, the last km is up but not very steep. La Vega and the glacier are the best of the way. Please do not litter and respect the flora and fauna (Original) Hermoso lugar con exquisito viento muy fresco.

Great place for a day hike that is moderate. We did not make it to the glacier which was 5 miles from the trailhead. The stewards at the entrance were very informative and quite concerned for our safety. We received a walk-in-talkie from the for emergencies. There was a 7ooo peso fee, not the 5000 advertised.

👍👍 To get to the Cascada el Peñón you must pass the toll and say that you are going towards the waterfall or another sector so that they are not charged. You can park the vehicle on the road or go up to the parking lot (suitable for tall vehicles) Once at the parking lot, you must follow the trail fo...
