I have always loved eating in this place. The view is just amazing and the food is great. The ambience and decor is lovely and spacious. Pls remember to go up to the top /roof top for pictures. Forgot to mention the roasted baby aubergines is awesome.

Service was nice and the food was great. It came with a buffet with seafood, salads and soup. And topped off with a delicious main course. The price was also very reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Honestly speaking foods were quite average. Thankfully I did manage my expectation beforehand. Came here for the view but turned out there are better options nearby also.. good things are 1. It’s easily to secure a seat. 2. There’s a rooftop bar upstairs so you could grab a drink and enjoy the breeze there

Beef wellington is impressive and huge. Crust is crispy while the filet cooked just right. Other side dishes tasted great as well. The quality of bread basket and oyster can be better though. For a brunch set that over $500, I would expect coffee / tea would included to make the meal more satisfying. The view from the restaurant is great as well.

We have only been to the rooftop for drinks. It seems that lots of rooftop bars in HK have closed during the pandemic - this one has survived partly. You have to buy the drinks downstairs at the restaurant and carry them to the terrace yourself. Nevertheless a great place to enjoy the view without breaking the bank. The restaurant itself looks chic but we're not so much into steaks.

On 31st floor, and close to times square, came here for lunch to treat the family to a budget friendly 'tasting' (lunch) menu. Great atmosphere and excellent views of the Harbour, evening here would be fantastic. See attached photo for lunch menu, but the starters were all very tasty, the tartar is french style and the salmon cerviche was good quality. For mains, the stand out was the cod which was the winner between the steak and pork, would reccomend this. For dessert, standard sticky toffee pudding was good. The burnt english crdam is actuallg a creme brulee, ive had better but the portion is huge. Overall a great experience, at a fantastic price, od consoder this cheap for the experience and view, will come again for the ala carte next time as i have my eye on the Wyagu tomahawk.

Recently visited and had pretty bad experience, to start their was long hair in the salad. They claimed no kitchen staff has long hair but it was embedded inside that it couldn't have been dropped over it, but that wasn't the point. mains came very late that we were all just waiting and waiting.... when it finally arrived three T bone steaks that we ordered as medium, only one was medium, the other two were medium rare and medium well.

9/10 won’t recommend, please spend your money wisely elsewhere 0. Nice view of the harbour and friendly staff. 1. Appetiser: took ages to serve; chicken wings and tartare both very mediocre. 2. Mid course: prawn is ok (apparently costs +88 for 3pcs); oyster is mini size. 3. Main course: very disappointing steak and cod. The steak texture is weird esp. the semi-raw part (I usually go for medium rare). Cod is a little fishy but acceptable after all the previous food. Yorkshire pudding barely edible. 4. Dessert: I myself have sweet tooth and I always have a second stomach for desserts, but the dessert here tastes like diabetes to me.

Terrible ambience - super flat, no feeling when inside at all. Extremely unfriendly service both in person as well as online - not one person smiled. Food was really poor - not hot, bland and ordinary. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand which basically say almost the same. Expensive for the food you get and the service from the staff who all look they absolutely despise their job. Stunk of cigarette smoke too. Oh and the worst part, I asked if they provided guests with a platform to review their restaurant - “no”. So, I wasted my time writing this review in an email to them - their reply “we will pass it onto management” which we all know is code for “we don’t care”. The view is great for sure - only redeeming quality.

What an Incredible culinary experience and great service! My family and I came here to celebrate my husband's birthday and we were extremely pleased about the high quality of the dishes of the Set Lunch. I fell in love of the "aged parmesan Risotto with Jerusalem artichoke" is one of the best Risotto that I've ever eaten, the "Tuna yellow finn" was super tasty and the Oyster..the Oyster with the apple mignonette was a mix of sweetness and saltiness, absolutely incredible! Thanks Berrais (Restaurant Manager), Gareth (Head Chef) and all the Staff for your warm welcome and for accompanying us through this beautiful experience. 😊

Wonderful experience at Alto. Went for a birthday celebration and could not have made a better choice. Delicious food, atmosphere and lovely view over the city. Service was great and attentive and chef Gareth made it even more special by coming over to the table and double check that all is good. Really happy and will be back soon. Thank you chef and team 👌

An extra ordinary dining experience. The restaurant itself is elegantly decorated. Situated on the rooftop with a breathtaking view of Victoria Harbour. The dishes are beautifully presented, bursting with unique flavours.

Located on the 31st floor with an amazing night view. Food is French/Italian with an Asian twist. Ordered scallop carpaccio (average), smoked steak tartare (a bit sweet), grilled lamb chops (pre-cut into dice but still juicy), and beef wellington (exceptional!). For dessert we ordered toffee pudding but it’s apparently microwaved before served - some parts were soft while some were weirdly hard. The place has been quite empty compared to the other restaurants on the same street. Only 4 tables for the whole night. Guess it’s due to its less easy-to-access location and the higher price range. Points to note: - The venue is popular among wedding parties or private dinner so do remember to make a reservation to confirm it is open on the day you wish to visit.

We were at the roof top bar. It is an OK place. Just another roof top bar. The drinks are OK, the view of the city light is OK, the food is OK, the service is better than OK. I am sorry, it is just another roof top bar. Nothing exciting or special.

We reserved half of the rooftop for a corporate event last night, the reservation process was easy and fast, lots of food and drinks options, fair prices, did all via email with Kristal and the experience was perfect. Once there we enjoyed an amazing evening, the view is fantastic, the place is great, super tasty food, very good quality, and Chester, the manager, and the whole staff went above and beyond to make our whole experience unforgettable! No wonder why my colleagues from the HK office say this is their place to go for drinks

One of my favorite rooftop bar in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, there was no available seats outside because it was Friday night. So our team stayed inside. But still atmosphere with wonderful scenery make us satisfied. One thing that make me shocked was that kitchen is closed at 10pm so food cannot be served even small peanuts after that. it is the only thing I was disappointed. If somebody asked me about re-visiting? Then my answer is definitely YES. And wish I will not miss the table outside next time.

Booked our Anniversary dinner here. Was pleasantly surprised by the Tasting Menu (HKD688) or what we also call as Degustacion. Bisque was flavorful without tasting just salty or fishy. Salad was ok. Scallop Carpacio had the right amount of tang. Beef Wellington with Mashed Potato bed was huge for a tasting set. Raspberry Sorbet cleansed the palate and was followed by Chocolate Cremeux with Coconut Sorbet. So, worth it. View was of course fantastic. Service attentive but not obtrusive. Our date night was perfect but was a bit spoiled by the super noisy corporate dinner guests.

We don't take Amex. Apart from that (incorrect) statement, everything was hunky-dory. The meat was very tasty, the sides excellent and the mocktails also. The view, of course, is a big seller. Staff is friendly and polite. Prices are okay (for Hong Kong). I just wish the waiting staff knew that they actually do take Amex....

Semi lunch buffet is good value. Spread is adequate. Mains is Optional instead of mandatory. Steak is prepared well. Try to book early to get window seat to have a view of the harbor.

The restaurant environment and the view are excellent. However, I just suggest you come on weekdays and enjoy the set lunch meal only. If you want to have dinner here or order many add-on items, you need to prepare the bill to come up to 500-800hkd per head.

Excellent customer service, and nice view from their rooftop bar. Nice food. The low quality wine was priced up a bit too much though.

The view is beautiful and the food in general are all good. The butter here that comes with bread is to die for. Scallops and risotto are so good.

Great food quality, loved the duck, fondue, and gnocchi. Very intimate and calm atmosphere with a very clear view of the harbour. Staff were excellent and very helpful all the time as well as attentive. Not too crowded. Has a rooftop for shisha and drinks which I had not tried yet.

Tried the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing, must say it's nothing much to shout about. The ceviche lacked acidity, was just drenched in the sauce, not quite sure what I was eating. The duck salad was on the sweet side, perhaps due to the bonito or fruits in the salad. The scallop was overdone and pork collar was chewy not crispy. Also ordered other items to share, the mains were better (beef wellington and tomahawk), cheesy cauliflower was a great addition. Risotto was just alright. I would say the wine pairing didn't work at all, portions were small too. Started with prosecco was ok, but the ceviche was a downer. Both whites were flat, very average. Maybe also because I'm not a fan of sweet wines that it felt overpowering for the Moscato and port. Overall, paying for the view, service was kind but standard.

Beautiful decor and ambiance. The service was very fast and friendly. The salmon and lobster leg were good but the highlight was definitely the sticky toffee pudding.

Very nice place with astonishing views to have the perfect dinner eating some tapas and having drinks while enjoying the skyline of kowloon region and the skycrappers of the city. Very recommendable terrace with nice music never to be missed if you stop by in HK.

Incredibly disorganized staff. It took over 3 hours to serve all our food

Cocktail, taste like water down medicine. Grill octopus, one leg with source, but taste not bad. Rib-eye, very chewy, the source that come with, sour. Service, good and polite.

I had a fantastic experience from the booking till actually spending an amazing company dinner at Alto. The private dinning room has incredible views over Hong Kong, the service of the restaurant manager Berrais and his team was excellent. Already in the planning phase the Alto team was very accommodating (regarding special food menu for vegetarian, drinks, etc.) to our requirements. For each of the six courses the chef (who worked for Gordon Ramsay before) came out of the kitchen to tell us more details about the served dish. Berrais and the chef kept on joking which was great entertainment as well. The food was absolutely delicious and nicely presented! We finished the evening at Alto's rooftop bar just one floor up from the restaurant. I can totally recommend this place for such a company events! Thank you Team Alto!
