This hotel is super stroller or wheel chair unfriendly. You have to risk your life to get to the front gate by moving along the carriageway with a stroller or wheel chair or else you have to climb steps. The front desk is not helpful and the facilities are old. I have no idea how it can be awarded with 5 stars. 18/10/2022 update Your hotel service is suprisingly poor and you ask me to come again, whats wrong with you?

Without a doubt one of the top notch hotels in Hong Kong. The decor in the lobby is a bit old school, but the rooms have been renovated. Restaurants are also world class.

The hotel is situated near the new MTR Exhibition Station which is very convenient for hotel guests. Hotel room is clean and comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Our harbour view room was just stunning, wake up with this view is just memorable. Staffs were very helpful, they tried their best to assist us. Swimming pool is huge, we enjoyed our stay so much. Dinning in the Grand cafe also a good experience, the food are all in high quality, Only one downside point is that we heard some noise from the construction site next to the hotel in the morning.

I've traveled to many locations around the world and use Hyatt all the time. The Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is by far the best! The staff are amazing and attentive. The Grand Club lounge was superb. The champagne served was top notch, and the food was excellent, including the fresh salmon. They treated us very well and our guest. The room was very clean and the view was fantastic overlooking the bay and city scape. We will definitely be coming here again when we return to Hong Kong.

A Hong Kong classic. The best ballroom with a stage on Hong Kong Island. Unless you want to build your own, there are really no other options. Great backstage area for performers too. Not huge, but rare on the Island.

Wow, what an amazing experience. Felt so taken care of the entire time by these lovely folks. Christy Ho & the rest of the team left me speechless. They really knew how to make us feel special. On top of everything, we (my husband & I) lost our phone. We accidentally left it in the taxi that dropped us off. We had everything in that phone. It was such a scary moment. They were so caring, professional, caring, and exceptional. I would no questions asked always come back to this hotel, if I ever have the pleasure of returning to Hong Kong.

This hotel is exceptional. Get the club room so you have access to the amazing club floor and dining area. Everything from breakfast, afternoon tea to happy hour/apperitivo is complimentary and it’s high quality and all you eat and drink. We only had one night but were also able to pay for an additional half day as we had a midnight flight home. Jon in the club lounge was excellent too. I also celebrated my birthday this stay and the staff kindly had a birthday cake for me in my room with a candle. So special. See you next time.

A true five star! We spent a whole week at the grand Hyatt and have only good things to say about the hotel. The rooms are great and really clean and the service is excellent. We had taken the club option and we're so glad we did. Scott and his team took care of us every morning for breakfast and where always making sure we had all we needed. The food is good and varied and the staff is really one of the best you can find in Hong Kong. We'll definitely come back and enjoy again this outstanding service and facilities of this oasis in the middle of bustling Hong Kong!

High-class hotel and well equipped room but cold with no charm. Very late-90s luxury style. Not far from public transportation but not very convenient to reach the place. Suited for business but not for holidays nor for younger people hence my disappointment.

Gem of a place, good sized rooms. Really nice service from all their staff. Do not miss the breakfast so delicious. Central beaut location easy to get all over.

Perfect location if you are attending exhibitions at the convention centre just across. There is a direct access to the halls from the hotel so you won't have to worry about commuting nor the weather. Rooms are spacious but the toilet is oddly hidden like a closet at one corner. There was a strong smell of ammonia but they cleaned it after feedback. Club room came with welcome fruits. Very decent spread for high tea and food is delicious. Breakfast included, club rooms dine at a different dining area with panoramic view. The Grill beside the pool had mediocre fare but value for money buffet. Nice ambiance until it started raining. The shades were leaking so we were given additional umbrellas.

I stayed in room 2121 last week. We upgraded the room to harbour/sea view so the view from the room was fantastic. Room service was fast too when we requested for items such as bottled water, towels etc. The only reason why I rated a 2 star was because on the last night, we had someone trying to open our door at night. The person tried a few times until my partner went to the door and shouted that they (one man and one woman) were at the wrong room. We called room service to inform them of this incident. I found out from room service that they were guests from another floor. When I asked if the staff checked with the guests, they replied no. 1. It's a big surprise that the key cards can access any guest levels. 2. Grand Hyatt did not check with the guests their intention for going to another room. This is a serious security breach and I urge Grand Hyatt to take a serious view to this.

We had a vacation with the whole family pass weekend. (16 of us) All the staff was wonderful and helpful; especially attentive to our 93 years old in a wheelchair. I would highly recommend booking the Victoria Harbour Suits; it has extra space with a breathtaking view of Hong Kong.

We enjoyed the friendly service, location of hotel, magnificent views of the harbour day and night. Most of all, we enjoyed the warm and welcoming service from Johnny Fung at the Chinese restaurant, 8th floor of the hotel, all dishes were clearly explained and served beautifully. We even had a good chat with the head chef, Mr Chan, about his culinary journey, a very talented top chef indeed. We felt very special eating good food served by such a professional team and enjoying the colourful night view of the harbour in a clear night. Thank you Johnny for making our evening so special. Well above 5 star experience.

I stay in this hotel nearly since it got opened. It has been always the feeling of coming home... also now after the Covid break the same.... in a positive way nothing changed! A good selection of restaurants, the pool on the 11th floor is the best I know for a city hotel all around the world. The only negative is that also they seems to face the problem of not enough available staff. But is it really a good idea to use QR codes at the sun beds at the pool to order food and drinks (which did not work for us and all other guests) and is it really a good idea to ask guess at the great little cigar bar at the Steak restaurant to get drinks yourself at the bar? I don't want to complain about the prices but a hotel like the Grand Hyatt should still offer excellent service and not self service or online order at the pool. Anyway still for me the best hotel in Hong Kong, I looking forward to come back (hopefully with the "old" service at the pool and cigar bar).....

There're 2 hotels occupy the building of HK Expo center, one's GH the other's Renaissance. When I first stayed in HK, I booked Renaissance, since then been wanted to upgrade to GH to see what's the difference. 10 years after my first visit, I finally stayed in GH, got to say it's brilliant! Most of the staffs are nice and professional, the room's sound proofing is particularly excellent! During my stay, HK was undergoing several major construction work around Wancai, but I believe the surrounding will be nice and convenient after all of those being finished.

Super super fabulous hotel experience in Hong Kong. No one should miss its all round hospitality experience in this city. The room with harbour view is super remarkable and its ultimate cleanliness also made us impressed. The steakhouse options were also geogerous too. Super highlyrics recommend.

Had a wonderful lunch here last year, a magnificent time. The buffet food here is delicious I can ensure. Looking at the swimming pool while eating is really calming, terrific environment. But what was the most remarkable is definitely the DJ here, I was at a seat right next to the booth and I was just vibing the whole time, extremely friendly staff too!

Staycationing here for one night only (unfortunately). Very nice and very clean room. Club Lounge is lovely, excellent service, beautiful view of the Hong Kong harbour, lots of food in the lounge, really nice ambiance. Cannot wish for more! Highly recommended!

Hard to beat. A beautiful, spacious hotel with excellent service. The pool area is one of the nicest in Hong Kong, although it does get crowded because it shares space with the nearby Renaissance hotel. The club level is excellent, with outstanding good and drink options.

A very warm greeting, care and attention paid throughout our stay with them. The club rooms are well worth the extra expense and the service at breakfast was great with such a wide variety of food. The pool is excellent if not busy but it really feels like you’re away from the hustle of the city.

Superb. Stayed in an Ambassador Suite and the harbour views were spectacular. The lounge / dining area and bedroom both overlook the harbour. There is a generous bathroom with a big bathtub, rain and standard shower, twin sinks, two separate toilets, walk-in closet and a small kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was made even better by the exemplary staff. Will definitely return.

Very nice hotel. Helpful staff and very good service. Staff at restaurant spill a whole glass of ice water to my child at our dinner. Bit disappointed as the staff only gave us a big towel to dry our child but then did not give any other support..... We even had to fix our wet table and chair all by ourselves. We had a child with me and so we stayed clam to fix the situation. But that doesn't mean there should be no helping hands required.

You need really higher floors to have a reasonable seaview (20 floor up). Restaurants and facilities are 5-star. However I always think the main entrance is not grand enough and can get really congested.

Just realised there are no premier sports channels …. If you are on staycation might be better equipped or watch elsewhere. Other hotels we stayed in had better. Quite disappointed…

Best family staycation in Hong Kong. Make sure to book a room/suite with Club access. Great F&B outlets. Favourites: steakhouse, grill/waterfall.

A legendary hotel in Wanchai area. I have stayed at this hotel in the last 10 years. The staff always make me feel like returning home. Highlight for their head concierge and Front Office Manager, their hospitality and knowledge always make my trip smooth and productive.

It was a great experience staying there. The staff were very helpful especially when my partner had stomach problems at 3am. They were able to get me medication. The rooms were a bit old and the tv system was oudated compared to other 5 star hotels. As alot of the movies still need to be paid for and unable to connect your phone to play anything. The design of the room is quite unique as the bath can be accessed directly from the bed area without going into the bathroom which was quite nice. The view is quite nice looking over the harbour if you paid the extra dime. Definitely worth going but a bit pricey for what its worth.

Can't imagine how attractive and competitive it is. In the adverse market, there is no arrangement better sea view rooms, no scenery, no delicious food, no swimming pool, nothing, I do not know why the purpose of stay. Decoration is very old, old-fashioned. No more. Room service was terrible.

This hotel has always been a favorite for our family to staycation. With the current issues in HK, it’s a breath of fresh air to not only enjoy the facilities but partake in the exceptional service. As always, well done GH HK!

Seeing the excellent reviews, I was really looking forward to our staycation here but unfortunately it wasn't for us. The service was great, I have no complaints about that and thank the staff for their kindness. The room was decent, but we only had views of the opposite building and playground from the 20th floor. The main perk that came with the package was a poolside BBQ, which we were anticipating but deeply disappointed about. There was little variety of foods: the taste of most dishes were okay, but some were bad. It was the worst buffet we've tried at a 5 star hotel in hk. To top it off, the pool was on maintenance, so we were seated beside an empty, barricaded pool. We couldn't experience poolside dining or take photos, which was the main reason we chose this hotel and I didn't see any notice of pool maintenance on the website when booking. For nearly $3000 on a Thursday/non-holiday night, I've had much better buffets/perks at a number of other hotels in HK. Even at hotels of lower prices, we got a decent view from our room and great buffets, so we never thought the buffet would be of this quality. Overall, the experience wasn't comparable to other hotels we've stayed at, despite the price being on the higher end. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Thank you Grand Hyatt Hong Kong - the Steak House which I remember as JJ's Jazz Bar & club. The Hyatt maintains extreme Covid protection right now - all staff are testing daily, this is important to Me. The ambience is elegant, the music is perfect. The Manager Joyce personally came to my table, thank you Joyce, attention is in the detail, it makes a venue choice perfect in my opinion. The drinks Manager Don also came several times to explain their extensive Drinks menu, Louis Roederer was my choice. My waitress was Tatania, professional, explained every dish, helped me chose the steak according to my taste. The lobster bisque was one of the Best I've had. The prawn cocktail was the most elegant I've had, the Argentinian Steak was perfect & I opted for the Key Lime Pie. Highly recommend the Hyatt the quality and the staff .

Stayed at the Harbour View Room. The room is very spacious and the bed is comfortable. Love the blinds that can block all lights. The service is great. Very relaxing to stay in.
