We went there for the first time for my husband’s birthday dinner. The old England style interior is great, salad was tasty, steak was so nice. The hospitality of the staff was professional and wonderful. They sang a Bday song for him😊 I definitely recommend chocolate cake with milk source, it is so big and veeeeery nice. It came with strawberry sorbet, which was a perfect combination.

I had high expectations for this restaurant as I had seen quite a few of my friends go there. However after dinner I left feeling a bit disappointed as the food itself was quite bland as well as being expensive. With the price I paid for the steak, I’d expect more flavour and at least a decent side dish (2 cherry tomatoes and 1 tiny onion ain’t gonna cut it). The additional sides I got were fine but I was hoping the star dish would be the steak, not the spinach and fries. Will not be returning to Below Average Polo Club.

Indeed a great place to be; exciting and cozy! Plenty of wine and drinks selection and food is surprisingly good, too! The dining environment is lively and pleasing. Let’s talk about Aj and Kretti who looked after us all through out our lovely dinner. We really appreciate their effort as they made our dining fun and memorable! Their warm and positive personality shines the most! Hats off Buenos Aires Polo Club! We’ll certainly be back!

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT EAT HERE. I would leave zero stars if I could. Sleepy service, poor food quality. I ordered a glass of wine after one of the guys took the wine list away from the table but my friend didn't order yet, even though my friend doesn't drink red wine doesn't mean she won't want to order other types of wine after we ordered some food, Ribeye and Half Chicken. It is a terrible steak, very hard and dry, for the Half Chicken doesn’t taste much and is hard to eat. We asked for the bill after they rush us and we were waiting for a long time for the bill and then suddenly came with an ice- cream with a candle without a spoon and they took an instant picture, but after they didn't give me back the picture and still rushed me to leave but I already asked for the bill. I don’t know what they want. For the quantity of food I think is overpriced I am sure for the same price there are better choices around.

I came in a large group (14 people) for a birthday celebration at lunch. The lunch set included a free flow and a good roast beef. Enjoyed the food, service and setting. The aged wine is something unique, I haven't seen these elsewhere and served with a large pipette. 5-star for the service to satisfy the large group, but would have been nicer if we had a closed room instead of using a screen to seperate the room.

It is inspired by the South American country’s penchant for the distinguished sport and dynamic grilling culture. We visited this place during the Black Series promotion and we were impressed by the quality and variety of the meats, wines and cocktails. The staff were very friendly and helpful, explaining the dishes and the story behind the restaurant. They also gave us a choice of unique knives to cut our steak and told us their history. It was our friend’s birthday and they surprised him with a dessert, a special Argentinean hat and a chorus of happy birthday from most of the staff. The atmosphere was very cheerful and fun. We had a great time and we highly recommend this place.

This post is specifically for the Thanksgiving meal as they generally deliver good meat during their normal operations. The soup came cold, and the table next to us complained about it also to the manager. Everything was served slow. The stuffing, beans, brussel sprouts, carrot, and mashed potatoes were good. The Mac and cheese was kind of bland and the gravy was super tasteless for the turkey and beef which kinda defeats the point. The turkey was dry and stiff and the beef tonight was a bit below their usual standard as it was also a bit cold. All in all, I'll come back for their steak during non special set dinner times, but never again for their Thanksgiving Dinner.

A hidden gem of a steakhouse in Hong Kong and among one of the finer experiences I’ve personally enjoyed among steakhouses in Hong Kong in the past years. The tomahawk steak was well-cooked, medium rare with a nice char that does not overpower, juicy and flavourful given their practice of meticulously slow-cooking the steak, meaning that for larger cuts the wait can be 40+ minutes (but was well worth the wait). Other must try items are the pumpkin soup and the fries. Service was exceptional and the staff takes great care to cater to any special requests. Apart from the steak and fries, the other side dishes and steak accompaniments (roasted tomatoes and garlic) are more austere in portion size, taste and presentation, do leave something to be desired.

Super disappointed service for birthday lunch My friend reserve a table for two to celebrate my birthday and she brought a birthday cake and planned to give me a surprise. She was told to pay the related charge on phone and upon arrival and noticed there SHK upon be arrangement of birthday song, however, nothing happened with the cake when the staff placed the dessert with a hat and candles deserts. My friend is super upset that the waitress even show the box the cake in front of me and mentioned the charge. No doubt we are depressed and disappointed for the birthday lunch arrangement, not to mentioned the waitress was super rude and impatient when noticing we do not order drinks. And she keeeeeeeeept chasing us to finish meals. I am a fans of the black sheep group and picked this as birthday lunch venue and no doubt I am disappointed Such event was told to the manager and he gave us his contact number for further arrangement of next appointment. Hopefully there will be a better service next time

Maybe not a great place to photograph food but the steaks and service are great. Good dating spot, if you are into that sort of thing

One of the best Argentinian steak restaurant in Hong Kong. Food is amazing, service is excellent. Love the mood when everyone singing Happy Birthday. Lobster Salad is fresh but a little bit more lemon juice. Ribeye perfectly cook, all the side is hot and good. Dessert is amazing, you can roasted your own marshmallows that’s fun. Also the whisky vanilla ice cream is fantastic. Overall is a very good dining experience.

I wanted to have steak last night so we came here for a nice steak… food was generally good but service was so so…. After I came here and I read the comments on Google, I can feel the same of how the waitress made the customer felt uncomfortable… Due to health issue, I couldn’t drink cold water, they just said we only have still or sparkling… then I requested the room temperature one… After a while, they asked if we drink wine or not, then I said I can’t and her look doesn’t look good at all but luckily my husband can drink… Then when we order, we just want to have main courses and side dishes, then the waitress asked “you don’t want starters?” Come on, if I want one, I will let you know, right? After the food came, all okay but when it gets to the dessert, she begins again….we were so full so we can only eat the one on the house as it was one of the offer for booking the restaurant, then the waitress asked if we want dessert, then we said we will have the one on the house, then she said “oh I just want to see if you want more”….then her look was…. Well, if I am her, I would say, oh our restaurant did have one dessert on the house, would you like to order extra or would you like to take a look of the menu? Instead of throwing us the dessert menu, not saying anything, then come back and ask if we want any dessert… then we said we have one on the house and gave us the “look” and saying oh just want to see if you want extra… I feel the service here is a bit pushy… Pushing people to get this and that… I am very surprised that would happen in Central…..very interesting… I do like the food but with this service…I will never come back again !!!!

This restaurant got very nice European style interior, and atmosphere is good too. The brunch set is only $588 per head while the content and portion is so generous! The seafood platter is fresh, and the omelet is tasty. And though the ribeye is a bit chewy but the taste is good. The most memorable is the French toast show and the crepe show, the flame is high up to ceiling! Great fun! Thanks

Had a wonderful dining experience, food was tasty. We ordered the wagyu beef tongue for starter, it was fatty but the sauce cuts some of that fattiness. The meat itself was soft and tender almost melting in your mouth. Very different texture to the usual beef tongue I’ve experienced. For the main had the T-bone, the chargrilled crust gave the meat a smoky flavor, the steak was cooked perfectly to order but the cut itself lacks flavor. However my favorite from the whole meal was the fries, the garlic flavor was very tasty. I would come back for just the fries! Overall food was decent, expect around $800-1000/pp. Service could have been more attentive, maybe we were sitting at the corner but several times we tried to wave for a help but weren’t able to get anyone to assist. In our 2.5hours of dining we only had the waitress came to our tables once to ask if everything was alright.

Came to visit for the Black Series menu and was thoroughly disappointed with the wait and the service. Booked for 8:15pm and didn't get to dine until 9:07pm even though we followed up a number of times. There's no point of booking if we had to wait for an hour. It could be understaffed at this moment. It was a well decorated place and could be a better experience. Of course, we followed the tradition to pick our weapons 🔪 and burned some marshmallows

Love this place! Always a great experience here no matter the occasion. The polo club atmosphere and vibes are always a joy to be in. Staff are always super friendly and helpful as well. You can never go wrong with their Chateaubriand, melt in your mouth and perfectly seasoned steak. The empanadas are worth mentioning too.

First visit, likely to re-visit. Authentic food, good portion for sharing with great variety. Very interesting “tradition” towards knife options and birthday cap. Must try the marshmallow dessert, it’s a surprise :)

This restaurant is well decorated and has great service. The waiters made some great recommendations for wines and cocktails for us - the dry Grey Goose vodka martini with a lemon twist was delicious. The food was a bit of a let-down overall. The steak tartare starter in particular was on the dry side and lacked flavour beyond the pure beefy taste. The steaks were fine but could have benefited from being dry aged. At these prices, I would recommend going to the Hyatt steakhouse instead, or if you particularly fancy Argentinian steak then Asado is a good-value option nearby.

Very classic, cozy, Argentinian steak house in LKF. This restaurant has been around for long time now. Excellent service from all the staff from the bar tender to sommelier. Very friendly and made good recommendations for us. We ordered couple starters and then 2 steaks to share. Both were very very nice. Full of flavor, cooked perfectly, tender, juicy. The crepe was a show! They cook it right in front of your table and the smell just fills the entire room, is a must try. Definitely pricey, but it's a given with the quality of service, food, location, etc.
