Excellent little hike and awesome views. You can see not only the Strip but Frenchman Mountain as well. The local Wildlife was nice to see

This is the best park in town. I just found it yesterday. For the last 3 years I’ve been living down the street from this place and I never knew it. I’m excited to come back with my baby girl and do some fossil finding. Then you have the water play. This park has a pretty nice walking trail too. I guess what I’m trying to say is that this park has it All. You have to go to see for yourself. I’m sure I haven’t even scratched the surface.

Exploration Peak Park has a very cute, large playground set up as an old west town. My 3 year old loved it. It also has a decent splash pad, some large statues of lizards and things for the kids to climb on. I saw there is a bit of grass to play on as well, but since I went there with my 3 year old, I did not explore much past the playground. There were a couple broken and closed off spring play features that looked like they have been closed/missing/broken for a while. But from what I could see, 4.5 star park.

This is a really neat and very different park. We had a great day of family fun, beginning with a picnic in the grass. Thank God they have open bathrooms. It's got cool hills built in, a slide that passes through, there's swings including baby swings. Plenty of spots for resting too. There's trails, some longer than others. 2 nice old fashioned teeter totter a covered wagon to play on, lots of things to climb on and plenty of well manicured land for the kids to safely run on. We vowed to go back soon.

Let's talk hiking! Behind the playground and accessed via the paved walkway, you can access the mountain. Take the mild climb up or something more challenging. This is an "unimproved" trail. Proper footwear advised. Paved walking path surrounds the green space and playground. Plenty of green space, water fountain near playground is a three-way: adult level, children, and pets.

Beathtaking! When we went it was alittle windy. Cute western theme play park for kids with a hiking trail. Took a short time to walk up,we did so at sunset. It was alittle steep but we made it! You can truely see the whole city from here!

Beautiful, well maintain family park with lots of free parking. Wide open grassy area with soft rolling terrain. Picnic tables, restrooms, playground, dirt hiking trail to scenic point, and a couple of grass volleyball courts to name a few. Dog friendly also...🐶

This place is always a fun time. My kid always has a blast! It's a nice big park so even at it's busiest times of day it's not as bad as other places. Great huge open spaces, hiking and gigantic play area. Highly recommended.

This park was so extravagant! The exploratory part of it seemed to be the hiking on the little mountain. There are cute jungle gyms with different themes! There are children of all ages that look to be enjoying themselves. Love that this is a dog friendly park. 👍 Great park!

This is an underrated park. It has one of the greatest views of Clark County and features one of the highest natural points in the area. In addition to Exploration Peak, the park hosts a playground and activity spaces which are quite beneficial to the community.

This park was absolutely huge. It definitely gets hot here during the main day, and the playground itself was incredible. The Splash Pad is shaded but on the smaller size out of some of the others I've been to. People here are quite friendly and tons of kids for the littles of the family. The bathroom wasn't as great. Both toilets were clogged and dryer didn't work, overall 9.5 / 10

I'm a person from out of town and I think this park is amazing. In my visit, everything was clean, from the trail to the bench areas. I would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a place to workout a bit and get to know the local ecosystem. I loved that it's right in the middle of a "big" park and a "neighborhood" park, really family oriented. Pet and picnic friendly. If I lived here I would come really often

What a fun park! I can't wait to go again when it gets warmer out but I highly recommend. We didn't even get to try everything like the seesaw, or walk the actual park. This is how parks should be; lots to do, interactive and big!

Fun place for the kids with great playground equipment that are configured to look like an old west town and some to mix in with local Las Vegas/southwest natural habitat. Also some short easy/moderate hiking trails to grab some good views of the valley. (Dog friendly as well)

Wow this park is big, and has so many features! Great for all kinds of fun and for any skill level. It’s hard to go through everything without missing something. One of the best parks in this side of Vegas for sure!

Exploration Peak Park, its an easy hiking trail compared to many in Las Vegas. The weather here in Las Vegas is starting to get better, we are in the 60s, which is the best time to hike many parks Sept - May. This park is wonderful if you want to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet. Had a really good time just getting some fresh air, filming then relaxing. There is also a wonderful family playground at the bottom of the mountain.

Fun park overall nice equipment. Only giving a 4 star review because these types of parks need coverage during summer. It's basically barren with how hot everything gets. But around 5/6pm is the best time to get out an about with your little ones beware though the equipment is still scorching around this timeframe I say around 6:30 on the mid 80 day to go without getting yourself burned. 7pm for anything higher temperature without any bad burns to be afflicted.

A Must! Must! Must! If you have kids, dogs, a friendly get together, a date or just want to get some good exercise, this is the place to go! There is so much to see with views of the city from the hiking trails (that are so easy I usually see toddlers doing it) or if you're not a climber, there is a beautiful trail around the park. I go often and it is my favorite place to work out.

This is a great community park. A lot of Green Space and pavilions. You can rent The pavilions for special occasions. They have a nice bathroom set up in the center of the park. There's a child's playground which is very nice with a lot of variety of obstacles and play areas. The highlight is the hike up the mountain with an overview of not only the valley but Las Vegas, the strip, and all of the surrounding mountains. It's well worth the view.

Great park for kids to play, picnic, walk the trails. There is a paved path to walk and dirt trails up the hill. There are bathrooms and playground equipment for the kids. The park is usually busy and gets alot of use by locals.

We love this park. Every time I bring my kids here, they always had fun. This is a huge park with a huge field for the kids to play, a cute little town theme playground for small and big kids. They also have this area for rock climbing, a tower to climb up, a lot of table and chairs to seat on or sometimes we bring food to have picnic.. They also have two volleyball area to play with which is really nice. And one of my favorites here is is hiking mountain, when you're on top, you could see a nice view of the city.

I love this little park. Great if you have little ones coz of the water park feature. We threw a blanket under a huge shade tree and ate a lunch we made at home. Very pet friendly and it has a great hike up the hill.

Cute little park located in Summerlin. At the bottom of the park, there are trails that you can hike to the peak of the hills. Great place to watch the sunset and overlook the Vegas Valley.

When we were living in Summerlin, we came here a few times when we wanted to get out and do our pandemic walks. :-) These photos are from April, 2020. Love the desert flowers. The view of the strip is great if you walk up the hill and take a look! Lot's of different trails to walk on - dirt and paved - something for everyone. They have a cute park for kids, but it was closed when we were there.
