This hospital provides one of the best services in TN. The infrastructure itself is so pleasing to the eyes. The outside is so clean and tidy. You can see automation at most of the places; automatic doors, lifts, payment options and all. Inside the hospital also it is very clean. The staffs are gentle and nice. Services offered are highly recommended. The doctor is also nice and professional. Consultation price is also cheap. Overall, the hospital is a world class one.

I had eye check for the first time with my wife here. All ok except for 2 issues 1) some areas like scanning needs more space to sit comfortably for the patient. It's too small area now & lands in to neck pain when sitting in an uncomfortable posture. 2) There's no information on the no of patients before you & how long it'll take for u to meet the Dr. These 2 need to be improved. Am a 35 years old female under the supervision of Dr.Udhay since 2004. I was diagnosed with some chronic issue and have undergone multiple surgeries. Sir is always calm, decisive, ethical, friendly, gracious,passionate and trustworthy. Since a decade am living in Germany and no wonder that when I consulated the Doctors here, I have been asked to continue the medications given by Dr.Udhay. Happy to express that his treatments are world-class! 'You can do it. No worries' these words from Dr.Udhay drives me since my childhood to overcome all the medical hurdles and helped me so much in pursuing my career as an IT professional. As of my view about this hospital. Cost is low compared with others Infrastructure is good Doctors and staffs are kind and good With my experience Only my concern is management not good. One visit min.1hr to Max. 4 to 5 hrs. Have to wait to see a doctor. Patient will lose their patience. Open O/P is not available. Patient don't know whom back whom. Patient records not sharing to patients. Please try to improve it.

Worst hospital ever. They will keep you waiting without giving you any reason. Unfriendly staff who don't give any damm about giving the information to patients. They will accept as many patients as they can and keeps everyone waiting. Very improper management and so inconsiderate about anyone time. Never visit this hospital.

DRR Eye Care and Oculoplasty Hospital is widely regarded as one of the best -- in my opinion, THE BEST -- eye hospitals in Chennai. Established in 2003 by Dr. Udhay Kumar and Dr. Priti Udhay, DRR has done tens of thousands of eye surgeries, many of them extremely complicated ones with world class facilities, top-notch expertise, and a remarkably caring staff. These include complex eye transplants, oculoplasty, eye tumors and others in addition to cataract procedures. During the last fortnight, I got my cataract surgery in both my eyes, five days apart, with Dr. Udhay performing. Given that I got it much earlier than usual, I was anxious as it has to do with one of the most valuable organs. I am delighted to say that the whole experience has been TERRIFIC, mostly because of the amazing, reassuring skill of Dr. Udhay and the care given by his staff, especially Sr. Nathiya and others. The actual cataract procedure takes about 5-10 minutes and is painless. Dr. Udhay remarkable skills as a surgeon and his calm and reassuring demeanor made it a breeze. Post surgery, I had a patch on for about 20 minutes and then my eyes were checked and I was allowed to return home. I had minor irritation in the eye for a day or so and after that I was able to see clearly and do my normal activities, barring hectic physical activities for a few weeks. The staff gave clear instructions on the eye drops to be administered and they called to check on me a few times post surgery. DRR is a 4-storey world class eye care facility with state-of-the-art equipment (it seemed to me), rigorous processes and procedures, expert doctors and caring staff. I recommend them highly.

Hey.. I am Harish. I came to visit this hospital for an endoscopic brow lift which is to treat droopy eyebrows. I had this problem for over 8 years. Initially I had a consultation with Dr. Priti Uday through a zoom meeting. We had a substantial discussion and the doctor helped me with different solutions. Before that, I had consulted with many doctors. Either they were unsure about the outcome or judged me. Dr. Priti Uday truly understood my problem and didn't judge me in any way. This is what a patient expects in a surgery involving some aesthetics. We planned the surgery post a month after consultation. The hospital is well maintained and premium. The nurses and staffs are truly caring and knowledgeable. On the day of surgery, I was told to take some medical tests. We had another discussion on the markings. Then I was taken to the surgery room. Since I had general anesthesia, I didn't experience the surgery. After 2 hours of surgery , I was finally taken back to the recovery room. I felt no discomfort. I could actually see the result instantly. This was so encouraging to me and it boosted further my confidence in the healing phase. Post op , I had no numbness or pain since the operation involved tiny incisions behind the hairline. This also made sure that there are no visible scars since I was young. After a week, the sutures were removed and I finally got recovered. The results are what I truly expected and I owe my thanks to Dr. Priti Uday and her team. The challenge here was to preserve aesthetics and also it should be safe. It was beautifully tackled by the doctor. With due respect, she is an angel :)

Superb hospital for all eye care , Dr udhyakumar is a genius dr. He cured my sons s. vignesh allergies which was prevailing for more than three year's and dr Udhyakumar solved in no matter of time. Also eye muscle surgery i had done in this hospital but now 2time surgery need for correction. Totally worst Doctors. Also very high demanded Eye care . Why I'm going to this place we have Lv Prasad and Sankara Netralaya. My 2nd surgery done at Sankara Netralaya

Fortunate to get treated my fathers Eye cataract here. I would like to appreciate Dr. Udaykumar for everything he has done.. Such a kind hearted and fab person.. Hospital also seems to be hygienic. I would strongly recommend this hospital for any eye related problems.

My father in law performed cataract laser surgery about an Year before, then still he was not comfortable, hence we per formed minor laser procedures couple of times, as suggested by doctor. At the end doctor said, we can’t expect further improvements. He still not comfortable with it

“Best patient friendly eye clinic” I have been thinking of LASIK for years now and always hesitated! But after visiting Dr. Udhay, DRR eye clinic who is absolutely brilliant in his work gave me confidence, cleared all my doubts and explained me every nuances of the available LASIK procédures. With that confidence I went for SMILE surgery yesterday and as promised within a day i gained a clear vision! My entire experience was way beyond my expectations! Best place to do refractive surgery. I recently had SMILE surgery here and got the results as expected and become free of glasses after wearing them for last 15 years. Though it's a painless procedure I was bit nervous initially but thanks to Dr Udhay who explained the process in detail before starting and also made me feel comfortable throughout the 20 mins procedure. I also need to comment about the hospital which is spacious, well maintained and with well mannered staffs. I strongly recommend this hospital to get treatment for any kind of eye related issues.

Very Poor Patient service. We waited for more than one hour just in the reception area after paying money to go for the initial consultation. Simply making the patient wait and wait without any information at all. Total waste of time.

1. Pls use mosquito repellants. It's the basic sanitary thing to follow but not there. I could see lot of mosquito are roaming. Can't able to sit in waiting hall. This will create bad impact about the environment of the hospital. 2. Provide some toilet facilities in 1st floor. Patients need to go for ground floor for toilet. This will not be good for aged person to stepdown for going to washroom each time.
