Cheruthoni town is the major town in Idukki. Almost all the products are available there. But it's not safe to wait for a bus there in the morning and late at night . Unsafe place for ladies. Be with someone and not go along there in the morning and night.👎

Cheruthoni is a medium type town of getting all services near by the District capital of Painavu. All shops are live and Open till 8.00 PM. The town is located at the foothills of the Cheruthoni Shutters, part of the Idukki Dam. Roads to places like Thodupuzha, Kattappana & Ernakulam form a tri-junction here. It is 2 km from Cheruthoni town to the Medical College and 7 km to the Civil Station. Night view of Cheruthoni town is shown below.

Not satisfied with the fecility available in the Town. No any public toilets. No bus waiting launch.. 😔 Just 4 KM away district headquarters.. People around Munnar, Adimali, Kattapana, Thodupuzha gathering in Cheruthoni are facing the above issue till now is really irritating.😪😢
