😠 This place is pathetic. To say the least. I understand the no public restroom policy. But I work for public transportation, and I’m pregnant, I broke down in front of the store. While I waited for my supervisor I asked to use the bathroom, I could no longer wait. And I was told NO. Even after saying... People often mention staff, great, trainer, fitness, friendly, Alex, classes, clean, work, equipment,

This is the first gym I’ve gotten a membership for, and honestly it’s pretty great. The equipment is clean, they have plenty of sanitizing equipment, and there’s a good amount of space to work in. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Their personal trainers are pretty awesome too! My trainer Alexandria is pretty great :) She’s helped me with getting my fitness goals set up with different exercises and even a meal plan. She’s really friendly and supportive and is always making sure I’m doing alright and ready to help with any adjustments to my workouts or meal plans. She’s the real MVP. Without her help I think the gym would be a weird place but now it’s becoming easier to follow through with!

Their guest pass is for local only. They will ask you to sign a monthly membership or $20 daily pass. Why dafug do you even post the free guest pass? That shows how bad they are. AVOID this gym!

The gym itself is solid, I have no problems with the gym itself or staff. The problem is the amount of people present at a time. Masks are not enforced, yet the whole gym feels like a concert due to the amount of people. Good luck getting able to use the squat rack, it will take you about an hour to do so. Either go in the early morning or late at night before closing. If this continues then I’m off somewhere else. It’s not worth not being able to use a si for piece of machinery.

I’ve been working with Alex as my trainer for two months and have nothing but good things to say about her as a trainer..Alex Is knowledgeable, respectful, professional, explains things well, and takes a holistic view of the physical fitness journey. I appreciate Alex’s consistent follow-up after each session with the exercises we worked on and her supportive comments. This information sharing demonstrates her commitment to my goals and empowers me to keep working and learning. If you’re looking to work with a knowledgeable, professional, sincere trainer I HIGHLY recommend Alex.

I've been a member here for almost 2 years now and I have to say it is a good gym for the price compared to other places. I would say it is pretty close to Crunch in experience and the vibe it gives out. All the staffs are really friendly and helpful whenever you need help with anything. They have free weight section, machines, cardio sections, the blue room, bicycle room, and massage room. They also have a lot of promotions here and there so you can bring a friend with. Overall this is a good gym to consider if you want to stay in budget and still get all the benefits of big name gyms

Worst gym I've been to with horrible business practices I'm glad I don't pay then directly. Activeandfit for the win If it weren't for them, I would never come in I don't want to download your app to sign in. Why no key tag or use my phone number Ridiculous Also your gym is extremely small. I don't know why people even bother to go there. You should seriously get a bigger area.

The cleanest gym I've ever been to. Way cleaner than LA fitness. The weights are even in order all the time while most of the members are considerate and clean after themselves.

The gym has great facilities and a friendly atmosphere, and Mark Dureg is a great trainer! Knowledgeable, motivating, and always goes the extra mile to help his clients achieve their fitness goals.

From the perspective of being ethical, (1) star. The reason; they notice when your billing doesn't go through, however, if you let's say sign up for their "trial" for personal training, you better be sure to have a reminder set, otherwise, they will charge $76/m with no end in sight. Then, they force you to go into the gym to cancel it. Why, this can and should be able to be done by phone, and if you need a papertrail, email? or the online account. If they can see that a service is not being utilized, they should call to see if that service should remain active instead of creating obstacles to cancel. $1824 down the drain.

I joined fitness 19 for zumba , but soon decided to challenge myself and take advantage of the premium membership by taking other classes they offer. I am glad I found boot camp . Alex is our trainer Tuesday and Friday morning class and she is amazing. She makes boot camp fun and challenging every week challenging us a little more than before , she also takes the time to make sure where actually positioning ourselves correctly in every workout as that is crucial in our training . I can tell Alex is passionate about fitness and loves her job, thanks for the weekly encouragement. I finally found a gym that cares about their members.

I have been training with Alex for a few months now and I highly recommend her. She is super knowledgeable, professional, explains things really well & really pays attention to your strengths and weaknesses while incorporating them into your workout sessions. Her trainings never feel repetitive or boring and I feel like I am being supported and challenged at the same time. I personally don’t say much during our sessions or give much in person feed back but regardless she always knows exactly what I need to take it to the next level. She definitely elevates my impression of fitness 19 as a whole.

Fitness 19 in Claremont is a great place to workout. The gym is well kept and the staff are real friendly. I mainly do group exercises and all the instructors are great. Greg Telles’s Boot camp and Spin have helped me improve my strength and endurance tremendously.

Clean gym, all equipment works, wonderful staff, no classes offered early mornings, feels like working out outside in Florida lately. Wish they would call someone to fix the ac so it is not muggy while working out. I have gone in am and pm and it is muggy. Gym owner I hope you fix this problem soon.

Great gym and if your looking for an awesome trainer Alex is the best. She has helped me a lot with my fitness journey. She takes the time to show me the proper movements and correct way to use equipment. She always takes the time to answer all my questions and concerns and helps give me encouragement and motivation along the way. Alex is the best so make sure to book your training with her👍🏻

I had a year contract and if I terminated early they would charge me $50. I terminated after a year and they charged me a $50 annual fee. Either way they are getting $50 out of you even if you comply to the contract. Kind of shady a way to do business.

Fitness 19 is the first gym I've gone to regularly. I chose fitness 19 because of the large class schedule and cleanliness. The boot camp and cycling instructors are great, particularly Greg and Jodi. I've attended many classes with Greg over the last couple of months. I've lost about 20 pounds doing the classes and with his recommendation lifting. The few classes I've attended with Jodi were also good. The only item missing is early morning yoga.

I've been a member here since May 2021 - my first time back in a gym since the pandemic began. At first I was really excited to have access to weights/equipment again, but at this point, the gym is so overcrowded that I rarely am able to use the equipment I need. On top of that, they always blare the music so loud that I can't even hear my own music in my headphones. Masks are also not strictly enforced - even the staff usually have them pulled down. With such an overcrowded space, you would think public health/safety would be of higher priority. Cancelling this membership bc its not even worth the $20/month anymore.

I've had a wonderful experience here. I always look forward to the friendly staff members, Nick behind the counter is funny and very friendly. The gym is kept very clean and all the staff are very active and responsive. They make it a very easy environment to look forward to your work outs. The gym itself gets pretty busy during peak hours (5-8ish), but I still always find there is enough equipment and machines to work whatever muscle group I'm targeting. A little creativity is sometimes required. There's more than enough cardio too. I've never seen all the machines used. I also used one of their personal trainers, Justin, for around 4-5 months. He's a super great guy and fun to train with. He did an excellent job pushing my limits and teaching me about exercises, proper form, hypertrophy vs. strength, etc. He's also very flexible with rescheduling and overall a really nice guy. The price for the service he offers is unbeatable. Don't be late, though!

I would not recommend this gym. These guys continued to charge us after we canceled our account and would not refund us after we brought them evidence. Please stay far away. Take your money somewhere else !!! Customer service and email service is not useful at all. Go get your gains at another gym. Their abcfinancial number is a Google number. Very bad experience. I would give them zero stars.

The Claremont location of Fitness 19 is the best! Super clean, great equipment, very friendly and helpful staff (Marie who works at the front desk is the sweetest), not to mention this locations’ amazing trainers! My trainer Alex has helped me exponentially on my fitness journey and I am so grateful for her expertise; she really goes above and beyond as a trainer sending me the written version of the workouts I’ve completed and diet/nutrition information! 11/10 recommend!!!

This gym has by far exceeded my gym expectations. • From the front desk staff…. Who are always going above and beyond. No one walks in without being greeted and most of the host take the initiative to learn the guest(s) names. •To the level of workouts you get from the inclusive classes offered …. at this location the free classes are way above what any local gym offer. Greg instructs some of the Bootcamps and cycling classes throughout the week and he has me be in best shape I have ever been.

I moved here from planet fitness & I can say its been a really good experience with new equipment, such as the hack squat & dumbells going higher in weight, and what i love the most are the free weight bench presses!!

Club is dirty. Rats from donut shop. People walking around parking lot coming from motel 6. Claremont won't report crime due to it look bad for college and city

  • 4/5 Alexander L. 2 years ago on Google
This a great little gym for the immediate community. Claremont is not a big city so it’s not like there are many places to have built anything bigger. They do over sell or over market sometimes making the gym too crowded for my liking. Overall the gym is great for those trying to keep in shape or get in shape. Staff is extremely friendly but they could do a little better at cleaning throughout the day

  • 2/5 Alex L. 2 years ago on Google
The equipment here is new/nice enough, but good luck ever getting to use what you actually want. There are so many people, and so little equipment that it’s not uncommon to have to wait nearly 20 minutes just for a squat rack. Add to that all the people unwilling to wear masks, and incompetent trainers and this place just isn’t worth the $23 a month. I canceled my membership and went elsewhere.

Professionally run gym. Very clean and friendly staff. Check out Anita for a trainer. She knows how to get results and puts a serious effort into customizing the workout for each person including changing it up so it’s always interesting. I’m over 60 and have built muscle in the three months I have been w her. Highly recommend.

I recently joined this gym and so far it’s been great! Staff is friendly and helpful, the gym is super clean, and they offer fun workout classes. Rebecca us my trainer and she is awesome!!! She’s flexible and understanding when I have to reschedule my sessions, she is very encouraging during workouts, and she targets all my fitness goals. Her Saturday workout classes are super fun and such a great workout (you’ll definitely be sweating).

One of the best gyms I have ever been to. Small but really spacious. Super clean even before covid! Shout out to Alva for being such a helpful and amazing employee! 🤙

I go to the classes mostly, but have worked on trying all available tools that will get me back in shape. They had someone guide me to InBody scanner thing that gave me a breakdown of my muscle and fat weight. The staff was encouraging and motivated me to get my goals started. As for the classes: Yoga - Brisma is a tremendous instructor who notices who is struggling and gives alternatives for her exercises. Boot Camp - Alexandra Morales uses 9-10 stations that she sets up so members can rotate every 30 seconds almost non-stop. She keeps you busy, and from time to time exercises with you so you know she's got your back. Cycle - Both Jodi and Sierra are fun instructors to take. Positive, and always pushes you to do your best. Overall, the club staff and it's instructors are there to support you. Good deal.

I’ve been training at fitness 19 in Claremont for about 5 months I love everything about it! Quick drive from my home friendly staff not to mention Alexandria is a awesome personal trainer & teaches a awesome fitness class Tuesday & Fridays! Keep up the good job!

I love this gym! It has everything I need! The staff is friendly, and my trainer is teaching me to build and sculpt my body with confidence. She has technical knowledge about the body, the various machines, and exercises to isolate and build my new temple! I've only trained with her for about 2 weeks, and I'm already seeing literal growth in the areas we are working on! She worked out a strategic and personalized workout program for me, and dietary plan, which is working beyond expectations! I am very pleased, with my amazing personal trainer, Alex, and happy that I joined Fitness 19. I highly recommend!!

The music is way to loud. This makes no sense because everyone comes to the gym with their own headset. The music is so loud I refuse to play my own music. Even with noise cancelling headset the volume has to be turned up way past safe to be able to hear my own music.

  • 5/5 Kathryn R. 2 years ago on Google
I've been working with one of their personal trainers, Alex, and she is amazing! She's incredibly knowledgeable, sets me up with a lot of great workouts, and holds me accountable. Would highly recommend her if you're looking to work with a personal trainer :)

Alex is a shining star and an amazing trainer!! She’s super proactive about her communications, has unparalleled patience, and is kind but will make sure you work hard. She also gives great advice (re working out but also just in general) and really encourages you to try new things. These 5 stars are mostly for her (though the spin and boot camp classes, regardless of who’s teaching, are all great too)

I LOVE having Alex as my personal trainer! She is enthusiastic, friendly, and caring. Alex provides me with meal plants, change workouts around and helps me stay in track. She is also very flexible with my schedule. Alex also does HIIT Bootcamp that I and my hubby enjoy. Best one yet!!

I joined this gym a couple months ago and I really like it. It’s very clean and people are respectful and nice. The workers always greet you and say bye which I didn’t expect it’s cool. This is my first gym I’ve ever been a part of and I’m impressed and wish I had joined this place earlier.

  • 5/5 Daniel L. 2 years ago on Google
I love this gym. It’s always nice and clean. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and supportive. The personal trainers are great as well, I’ve been working out with Alex and she’s been more than helpful with workouts and how to do them properly, my nutrition and what kind of foods I should be eating, she has gone above and beyond to help me with my fitness goals. I couldn’t think of a better gym or better trainers than this place

If I had a chance to give this gym more than 5 stars, I'll do. Kind staff. Also, if you want to have a personal trainer always choose (ALEX) 😍 she is amazing and lovely and helps you find your self to achieve your goals. Don't ever miss classes, boot camp with Alex, power yoga with Rebecca and Zumba with Alma.

I have been going to this fitness center about a year now, wonderful to workout at. Super friendly staff, Ryan is always at the front desk and is super helpful in answering any questions I have and kind upon entering the building. The fitness center is also always kept clean and creates a comfortable atmosphere to workout in ( great music )!

June 2023 I went to Fitness19 to try a spin class, not expecting a lot, however the moment I finished the class with Greg Telles I got my membership that exact day, the class was the best one I have ever had. It has been 7 months already and his classes (boot camp and spin) have changed my life, not only physically but mentally, he doesn't just teach, he changes you! The motivation, energy, professionalism, knowledge and vibes are immaculate. You feel unstoppable and also safe, he makes sure we are doing the exercises right and we keep getting better and better. (Also the playlists? AMAZING lol). Cannot be more happy and thankful for our coach Greg! I have also found an amazing community at this gym, we all cheer each other and it's a free-judgment zone. Nice front desk people as well, they are always welcoming! I would like to see more improvements in the spin room, some bikes don't work at 100% and it would be nice to have more since classes are always packed! Other than that, love fitness19!!! Lastly, everyone should have a coach like Greg in their lives because if it's easy, it's wrong.
