One of the best lunches we've had. Didn't make a reservation, but the head staffer put us on the wait-list. Waited maybe 10-15 minutes then we're able to get a seat. Great staff, very friendly, professional, and probably the most efficient I've ever seen. Order the fresh grilled sardines, amazing. The paella de la casa was also very good. We will return.

An excellent personalized service. My friends and I, five, were there last week for the May special menu. It was crowded- lunch time - all the tables were taken except one on the sidewalk facing the beach. Although we would have had to wait because there was a waiting list, a waiter spotted that we had two seniors. He immediately seated us there. In minutes, it started to rain and the wind blowing as we were getting ready to order. Not only one, but several waiters came by and spoke individually with each of the six or seven groups. They were not going to serve us, and they were going to bring us inside as tables became available. Their explanation: we were uncomfortable and cold, and the food was going to get cold, too. They brought us in. We ordered the main dish of the May special - Fritada - and other individual dishes (C/ picture). Our food was served almost immediately. Excellent service and excellent food!!! The best of all my friends's company - ❤️ - como Familia!!!

Seaside restaurant in Benalmadena, competing with many similar places in the area. Rating was above average so we decided to give this one a go. Service was friendly and helpful, although they forgot one of the orders. Food wise, it was good although not outstanding. Orders were served super quickly, which was unexpected given the restaurant was packed.

Well what a disappointment. Food was mediocre. My meal took ages....I think they forgot to cook it or the incompetent waiter didn't press the right button on his ordering gizmo. It was only when i asked where our food was that something seemed to happen. Chips arrived 20 minutes before the other meals. They should have been delivered together. Several attempts to get butter for the stale bread fell on deaf ears and never arrived. Overall very poor.

Nice setting and really fantastic seafood platter - at 78€ with a bottle of house wine it was well worth it! Got really busy but the waiters whizzed around well enough to keep things moving and the waits not too long. Were out of a few things sadly, but gives us another reason to return I suppose!

Delicious food, the paella was really really good. Not to mention the great dessert. This place is full all the time, be prepared to wait or try to book in advance

Recommended for anyone wanting to taste good quality seafood. Quick service despite being fully booked (+/- 20 min wait for paella) Almost always crowded and ppl waiting in line (evenings). A bit pricey but it is a restaurant by the sea so no surprise.

Lovely paella, and sardines! So fresh! Service is a little chaotic but that's part of the charm. Love when the staff shout over the orders to the BBQ pit man. I could watch those fish cook for hours. Don't forget if you order the prawns to start, hold onto some bread, dip it in the red oil, it's to die for!

Food was extremely Basic. The food came at different times, some mains were served at the same time as starters. To Spice up the food we asked for salt, ketchup and mayonnaise several times. Surprisingly enough the restaurant was Full all the time with even a queue outside. I felt sorry for the people queuing up. The overall atmosphere was hectic with waiter's rushing around and shouting. Despite all our waiting for the food, when asking for the check, it came in 58 seconds. We timed it.

The food had absolutely no flavour. The waiter poured red wine all over some lovely ladies. At first we got a couple meals in less than 10minutes, but then waited for an hour to get some shrimp. The whole place was a mess and the waiters were running around and shouting. The waiters didn’t understand english. And while writing this i heard them drop something. If you like red wine on your clothes and loud places and waiting and not forgetting food without any seasoning, highly recommended!

Two stars for the food which was good. Staff very surly and short with customers simply wishing to pay! Got the feeling that we were a burden because they were so busy. I'm glad my fiance speaks Spanish because I'd hate to deal with such rude staff without being able to speak the language

Very quick and impressive service considering how busy this place usually is. Not the best scallops, too much parsley and garlic sauce for my taste. Nice quality fish in general. My personal favourite was the black rice, simply delicious. The seafood paella was too salty but really tasty too.

The atmosphere represents typical Spanish vibe - it's vivid, dynamic and cheerful. The place has lot of guests and is one of the crowdest restaurants on the beach. Food is okay, but what would be good to be added are for example more grilled vegetables or baked/fried potatos along with some dishes (e.g. fried fish). Also, fried potatoes were not salty at all, so it would be good to have them with some salt.
