Fantastic place to party. Food was really really good. Great views. Only things that could be better - Rooms are really tiny. But they are functional and the bathroom was nice and clean, with hot water in the shower. The view is great, but since they are expanding and building new rooms/areas, the construction kind of spoils the view a little bit. But still pretty good.

Amazing view and very well maintained rooms and common areas. The canteen is well stocked with a variety of food items and reasonably priced. The host, the team members and the staff are equally amazing! Had a great time here and would recommend to others! There's one small negative that I'd like to mention is that during the summers, since the rooms are built inside shipping containers, I'd recommend the hosts to invest further in adding more layers between the outside and the false ceiling in the roof or at least providing a 1.5-2ton ac inside the rooms. Otherwise although the 1ton ac already provided is sufficient during the late evening and nights, it is not enough during the burning heat of the daytime and we were still sweating despite the AC being cranked to 16°C with the swing mode on and it being set to turbo.

This is one of a kind stay. Location is excellent. It’s a container turned into room so the rooms are going to be really small. Keep that in mind while booking . The mountain view rooms currently don’t have a great view due to the construction going on. I would have given 3 starts if it wasn’t for the food . Food was excellent which is freshly prepared and the vibe in common dining room is great .

Mindfully designed property!! Amazing experience!! We stayed in a private room, it was a bit small but felt cozy. The bathroom was clean and well equipped. The balcony was overlooking the beautiful valley, and a tree with chirping birds. The metal container made the room hot in the afternoon, the AC took some time to cool it off. Food was delicious and reasonably priced too, service was fast. The common areas were clean, well maintained and lively. The staffs were friendly and accommodating. We also went for the evening trek organized by Zostel. It was a very short trek but you get to watch the sunset with wind in your hair (and watching people paragliding) from a secluded and beautiful spot. And one of the best part was, there were 3 pups at the property, extremely chonky with cuteness to die for!!

If you want to experience something different from the typical hotel you always stay in, you must try zostel. It has every premium facility along with a hostel vibe. Went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday & it was worth it. There was a live band performance which completely made our evening. We got to meet and interact with many cool backpackers & travellers like us. They also take you on a night trek for star gazing & bonfire. Seriously, what else do you need? :)

Best place to have a nice getaway. Great view from the rooms. Professional and friendly staff. Plus the food was spot on delicious. If you do plan ti stay over here trust me have the food in house you wont be disappointed.

This is a beautiful place with an amazing view. The staff is very soft spoken and well mannered and the service is excellent. The food is also delicious. The rooms are very clean and hygienic and the place is very well maintained .They had open mic event on Saturday in their common room and it made the experience more delightful. We even went for night hike with bonfire and stargazing and the experience was astonishing.

Great place to stay for the price! The food is good, and available till 3AM, which is amazing! The rooms didn't look as spotless/maintained as shown in the pictures, time has certainly had a toll on the quality of the rooms. You'll see rust and a bit of worn-down interiors. During our stay there was construction going on as they were expanding, and the noise was irritating! But this shouldn't be a problem after December 2023.

Nice stay. Everything was nice.. But They have to improve a food quality in sense of taste. Chefs need to work on the taste...it is not bad..but not satisfactory...and the most important. The tea and the coffee should be hot ..they were always warm and never piping hot. In such a weather it should be hot ...very disappointed with that.

I stayed here for 2 days with my friends during the weekend, most people were youngsters and like-minded, the rooms were clean. A live band was organised on Saturday, it was really good. Everything is nearby. Taking your own vehicle will be best. They have valet and staff is really helpful. If you want a room with a good view, don't choose the dorm. Choose the private room.

It was an amazing stay. It was very beautiful and clean property. The staff was very humble and kind. The food was very tasty. Also all the amenities were there. Will definitely plan to visit it again.

The architecture of the container rooms was perfect and the cafe was phenomenal in price and taste. Staff was really helpful. My single criticism (and the reason for a 4 star rating in lieu of 5 stars) is that the property manager / owner (not sure) had a pretty big group over alongside kids which I feel is flouting the rules that apply to regular customers and is pretty off brand for what zostel is going for.

Most important factor for me while traveling alone is Safety. Hence, I went ahead with Zostel @backpackerspanchgani for my stay and it didn't disappoint me at all. The place is a vibe! Perfect for solo travelers. There is a common area where you can indulge yourself in reading, playing indoor games, music or interacting with strangers. And I was lucky one to experience a stand-up comedy act (1st one for me) and LIVE music. A place where you can be just Yourself!

Took a private room for 2 nights. It was container room and beautifully setup.Minimalistic design covering all amenities. Scenic Mountain View right from the bed. Food quality was actually better than a restaurant. Highly recommended.

Recently stayed here. They got an amazing view from their cafe which makes it worth staying. Rooms are super amzing and they have maintained the property so clean which makes your experience great. Food is awesome best turn around time i came across. Super friendly staff sply Vikram Sir who served us well through out our stay.

Had a great stay at Zostel Panchgani, the entire property is well planned and well maintained. A different and unique experience staying in container roomswith a perfect view. The cafe and the restaurant has a good variety of food and overall food was awesome. The staff is extremely friendly and cooperative. The entire place has a great vibe and you wont even feel like stepping out of the location if you are there for a short stay. We booked private rooms, the rooms were neat & clean, just felt like the rooms were a little bit less spacious. But regardless of that it was an awesome experience and would definitely a place to come back to!!

We stayed in the deluxe double container. Has everything you need, clean, comfortable and with great views. Staff very friendly and helpful and there is a great value kitchen for evening meals. You can order delivery of beer and wine for your meals. 25 min walk into town. Most of the guests are a young crowd and although you will get some noise and music, it stops by 11.00 and the containers are well insulated. I'm 68 and was comfortable there. Highly recommended and great value to get away from some of the hustle and bustle of Mumbai and Pune and to experience a cool Hill Station and its lovely environment.

Welcome, Madam. How has your journey been so far? I was pleasantly surprised by the warm reception from the staff, which provided some solace after a long and adventurous trip. The dormitory rooms deserve high commendation for their impeccable cleanliness and incredible coziness, making for an awesome experience. Moreover, the property features a beautiful and well-maintained garden, which perfectly complements its container rooms. One of the highlights for me was the food. The menu offered a delicious and diverse selection of dishes, and the service time was exceptionally fast. The staff members served the meals with great enthusiasm and joy. The welcome kit included a small booklet about the zostel and a brochure on local tours. I relied greatly on the brochure and, as a result, found myself spending an excessive amount of time exploring less significant places. In hindsight, I discovered that the information in the brochure needed an update. Despite that, the future of this place looks promising, with significant expansion plans underway. The hostel is currently undergoing substantial growth, adding numerous private container rooms. Furthermore, there are plans to construct a grand café that will provide a picturesque view of the hills. A member of the staff mentioned that they will soon update the sightseeing brochure. They also suggested that hiring a cab or bringing your own vehicle would be a better option for sightseeing, as the local transportation system is yet to improve. There is much more to discover here, but I'll pause for now and let the place surprise you upon your arrival.

Location is the USP of this Zostel. And of course the stay in the containers is a unique experience. Rest everything else is pretty cool. Food is delicious with variety in the menu, Common area is big enough, service is great, and the location is greatest. Have fun!

One word to explain this place is VIBE ( all happy and positive). Concept of rooms inside shipping containers is really cool, Chilled out environment. In house Kitchen is open till 3AM. Understanding managers and staffs. Common room for the indoor games, Socialize with strangers over drinks (BYOB). Music hits you along with the view of mountains.

Visited recently and loved the vibe. It's cute, staff is really cordial and helpful. Has a great party vibe! They organise treks/trails and do not miss it. Their Indian food is great. Some construction work going on for new rooms. Container rooms are novel, but little small. But not bad for the price point

Best place to visit. If you travel with friend ls make sure you are not more then 3 people. Night treks are the best!! Food is amazing too. Service is great. Overall experience 5/5. Must visit

This is one of the best zostel I have visited ever so far. I reached here at 10.30 pm without prior booking. The host were so heartwarming and welcoming they went out of the place and arranged a tent for me for the night. Grateful for that. The dorm are neat and clean the washrooms are clean. Private rooms are also available. The Mountain View are amazing 😍

Amazing place, the view is just out of the world! We stayed for only one day in the private room but the view and the privacy made up for it. The food was great and the portion size was adequate we ordered chicken Tikka pizza and red sauce pasta. The folks at the reception and the kitchen were all very friendly and spoke well. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely time. Kind and helpful staff. Ideally the breakfast should be complimentary for this price and offer. Room was cosy and with a view, just as expected. Some on-site construction went on late into the evening.

This is the first time I’ve stayed at a Zostel. The experience was definitely the best I’ve had till date. If your aim is to meet new people, chill and have an overall positive vibe, look no further. Would definitely visit again!

It was my first time staying in Zostel and I had a lovely experience. I loved the vibe, the staff is very warm, the rooms are clean, the food is tasty. They even organise night and evening treks. I went for night trek for stargazing and bonfire and I had too much fun. It’s a great community for travellers. One should experience it once for sure!!
