First
time
camping
since
I
was
a
teen
in
the
90's.
Now
my
lad
is
5,
camping
is
something
we
were
keen
to
start
to
do.
We
arrived
and
checked
in
with
the
owners,
and
they
were
both
very
friendly
and
welcoming,
you
knew
that
nothing
would
be
any
trouble.
Emma
and
James
(owners)
were
on
hand
daily.
We
had
forgotten
to
bring
gas,
but
they
helped
us
with
that
and
that
allowed
us
to
get
to
the
camping
store
they
had
recommended
to
get
what
we
needed.
The
pitches
are
very
big
10x10
plus.
which
was
sufficient
for
our
very
large
tent
that
I
had
never
put
up
before.
The
pitches
have
a
free
custom-made
fire
pit
to
use
that
was
perfect
for
a
few
hours
in
the
evening
for
the
marshmallows,
and
they
also
had
a
picnic
bench
with
them.
There
was
some
traffic
noise,
but
nothing
to
keep
you
awake
though.
The
park,
although
basic
was
perfect
for
the
little
ones,
as
it
pulls
all
the
children
to
one
area
to
play
with
each
other
as
a
group.
facilities
were
clean
and
tidy,
would
have
liked
a
longer
timer
on
the
showers,
again
though,
they
were
fine.
There
is
one
family
bathroom
with
a
bath,
which
we
had
no
issue
getting
into
the
two
times
we
wanted
to
use
it.
there
is
a
kitchen
washing
area
that
has
sinks,
a
freezer,
and
fridges,
also
pay-as-you-go
washing
machines
and
tumble
dryers.
We
camped
for
5
nights
and
would
have
stayed
longer
if
the
weather
had
been
better
over
the
weekend.
There
is
plenty
to
do
in
the
area
that
you
would
need
a
few
weeks
to
see,
so
we
will
definitely
come
here
again.
If
like
us,
you
have
never
camped
before,
this
is
a
perfect
1st
site
for
sure
and
I
would
recommend
it.
Had
a
lovely
neighbour,
met
some
lovely
people
and
a
local
camper.
