First visit, excellent service spotless and food of a good standard. Front of house efficiency find you a table and get you seated, food took a little while to arrive but it was fine as the place was full. Nice coffee and good sized portions, service was very polite and friendly. We will be back.

This is a independent cafe place located in a quiet suberb of Bristol. All food is freshly made from the scratch and you can order here the best coffee in the town. I tried many dishes and I never got disappointed. Freshly made cakes and smoothies will satisfy the most sophisticated pallet.

We love coming for lunch at the avenue cafe, such fantastic food, great coffee and amazing service. They are also so very accommodating for my children. My daughter had a smaller chocolate milkshake in a takeaway cup so she didn't spill it. We will definitely be back.

Favourite place for brunch or lunch in BS16! Beautifully decorated and set out. Always super busy because of how great it is! Staff are efficient and super friendly. Food is reasonably priced and delicious! Evening sessions are also great for a local independent restaurant experience! Couldn't fault this place, you must visit!!

Great outside seating when the weather is good, pleasant indoors too. The staff are very competent and well-trained. Food was delicious, my bagel and cream cheese had loads of smoked salmon. If definitely go there again. Plenty of parking opposite in the retail parking area.

The Supervisor was lovely. The breakfast was ok and the cakes are great. We went there to eat breakfast, study and drink for a few hours but we're not allowed to sit at a table big enough for us to study with books and I pads (Didn't happen last time). Sadly this meant we had to leave. It's not a place to study and chill out sadly anymore. Business is business so understand them not letting us on a big table but it does mean we won't be coming here often. **Additional comment after staff response** Your suggestion to go somewhere else is duely noted, which we did and loved the atmosphere so likely won't come back, not to worry. The 3 star after further consideration was a little high. Although your poached eggs were perfect the potatos had no crisp to them and seemed as though they had been unintentionally steamed after roasting, hense "the breakfast was ok". ** Not all feedback will be what you would desire to get, but justified none the less**

Marvellous coffee and amazing croissants. The place is very well decorated and comfortable. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Also there is an outside parking spaces, not very big, only for 5-6 cars but it is very handful. Recommend place for a coffee, a meeting, or just to have an amazing coffee.

Love their Breakfast/Brunch menu! We ordered a small breakfast and also the bubble & squeak, both meals were lovely! Good atmosphere in there, friendly staff and served a good latte. Defo recommend this place

Some coworkers took me here for lunch today as I was down from Manchester for a few days. I had the eggs benedict and some fresh orange juice. Absolutely delicious and a lovely atmosphere inside.

My favourite cafe when I'm visiting family nearby. Food is great, staff are lovely, it gets a bit noisy cos it's so popular but I can live with that. Hubby likes the cakes too. 😁

We love coming here for coffee and lunch. The conservatory is dog friendly and a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the sun or rain. The food is excellent, can't fault it.

Absolutely wonderful independent cafe serving the community and we are very lucky to have it! I've visited a couple of times now and the service at Avenue Cafe is top notch, the staff are super friendly and hardworking, coffee is excellent and the food menu is fantastic with lots of quality fresh food. Also the homemade 'two of a kind' cake was unreal! Just moved to Lyde Green and thrilled to have this fantastic place on my doorstep.

Very welcoming, food cooked fresh to order. The tea and coffee were lovely and hot with great flavour. We visited with our two year old granddaughter and whilst they don't offer a children's menu they were happy to accommodate our choice from a great choice on the menu. Given the great quality of the food it was well priced.

Had eggs florentine and asked for granary bread instead of a muffin, they were very obliging. As usual was delicious. Lots mums & babies which is because it's a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Always a nice experience ☺️

Excellent brunch @ Avenue cafe. It was busy on the Sunday we visited (mid-March) with around a 35min wait for food. Friendly staff, good coffee with food cooked to order.

I’ve started coming here more regular these days as I really enjoy the food quality and lovely staff. Food is delicious❤️ Visited with my daughters today, we was starving upon arrival and ordered too much food so we decided to take the rest home, the lovely lady got us containers to take home, poured the rest of our milkshake into a plastic take out cup. Thank you and I see from all my visits how hard you all work as part of a team, you all do amazing and deserve credit. Should be proud! Such a lovely cafe, beautiful place to sit outside in the sunshine. And enjoy your morning beverage. Staff are friendly and helpful. Gets quite busy at 10am so make sure you are there early. Definitely recommend.

Thanks Avenue Cafe for baking us a lovely lemon curd sponge at such late notice. We were having some light lunch and instead of buying a cake from across the road we asked and they agreed to bake us a cake which we needed for the next day for a joint Birthday celebration. Yum Yum!!

First time at Avenue Cafe today and I was very impressed. Great service with lots of professional staff on so I was served quickly and the tables cleared quickly. Yummy panini and really classy surroundings. They were also more than happy to give me some extra cucumber slices for my 7month old to chew on. I'll be going back :)

I visited last week and it happened to be their 20th Birthday. Congratulations Avenue Café. There was a lovely atmosphere, topped off with a fabulous cappuccino and delicious slice of Lemon Drizzle cake made by the owner Flora I was told. Despite being in he midst of a global pandemic, the team here are doing an excellent job with distancing and cleaning tables throughly before sittings. Nice to see the staff wearing visors, it made me feel more comfortable. Thanks, I’ll be back soon. J

Can't beat a trip to Avenue Cafe, no other "competitors" are in its league! We visited just before Christmas and have been back most weekends since. The best thing about this place is how it's a local independent and is actually run by its owners which is lovely to see and makes a real difference. Saturdays are very busy and it can be hard securing a table, but this just goes to show how excellent the reputation of the business is. The service is very friendly, efficient and the food is lovely. No.1 place for a weekend cooked breakfast and good quality tasty coffee. Keep up the good work Avenue!

Lovely cafe - very reasonably priced with exceptional service from staff. The food, coffee and baked goods were tasty, fresh and well presented. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
