A
charming
little
cafe
in
a
nice
area.
We
booked
3
of
their
4
outdoor
tables,
then
inadvertently
gave
them
a
"too
much
of
a
good
thing"
problem,
when
two
other
people
joined
us,
causing
them
to
run
out
of
spare
chairs.
They
do
have
indoor
seating
too
(I
checked)
-
we
were
just
crazy
enough
to
test
if
it
would
work
on
the
first
warm
&
sunny
day
of
2023.
Venue
overloading
aside,
although
they
excel
in
drinks
and
little
cakes,
their
surprisingly
comprehensive
menu
lists
alcohol,
meals
and
a
kids
menu
too.
It
was
nice
that
their
menus
were
all
in
one
booklet
too,
and
that
they
had
plenty
of
copies
out.
Their
outdoor
seating
is
tucked
away
round
the
back,
which
gives
brilliant
acoustics
for
conversion:
Being
outdoors
means
no
sound
bouncing
off
the
walls,
and
being
at
the
back
eliminates
street
noise.
Their
lemon
drizzle
cakes
looked
particularly
appetising,
and
these
were
popular
with
our
group.
Another
twee
thing
about
this
place,
was
their
eclectic
china
collection:
They
say
they
look
out
for
individual
pieces
and
small
sets
secondhand,
which
is
something
a
franchise
wouldn't
do,
and
the
effect
is
cosier
-
more
like
being
round
someone's
house.
The
service
was
very
rapid
for
the
teashop
aspect.
-I
can't
speak
for
if
there
were
meals,
which
can't
be
pre-prepared
to
the
same
degree.
