Their curry heatness guide ?️?️?️ means nothing. Been there twice in last few months. Thought second time might be better, but disappointed.

Just had an excellent meal in the Megna Indian Restuarant in Chipping Sodbury. I do use TripAdvisor to find out about lots of different things and didn't read very good reviews about this restaurant. However, someone in the area recommend it to us so we thought we would try it out. Very pleased we did, the service was excellent , and so was the good. Fresh, tasty and great value for money. Another fab restaurant to enjoy meals out in the area.

Rip off artists who own a vast array of the local takeaway businesses. Be aware that this formulaic company is not all it portrays! Conn artists trying to fleece you!

I rarely review online but in this case I feel compelled to make an exception. I ordered via the website which was easy, efficient & collected from friendly staff in the restaurant. However the meal itself was awful ...my wife had the prawn jalfrezi which was tasteless and thin. I had the chilli fish, which was ok, as was the aloo gobi but the saag paneer tasted like it was full of sugar, and the tarka dahl was bland and lacking the signature taste so reminiscent of that dish. A huge disappointment, our local pubs do better curries. Oh, and no complementary popadums, (which is a shame as we'd have filled-up on those).

Ordered £31 worth of food through just eat, took over 1 and a half hours and several phone calls to arrive, finally arrived cold so returned with delivery driver, when I phoned them to say It was cold and I wanted a refund they said phone just eat and then hung up on me! Went through just eat for a refund and was informed the day after the manger told them we had accepted the order!! This business is poor in its conduct and also liars.

Probably the worst Chinese I have ever had. Seems likel it had been reheated so many times it had lost flavour and the texture was awful. Just won't be going there again and it was more expensive than most Chinese take away too :(

Absolutely gorgeous food. Full of flavours, very well cooked with tender pieces of lamb. Good vegetarian options (for the Mrs) delivery was spot on and turned up 10 mins earlier than stated. We will definitely order from you again and again. 5 stars but would've given 10

Had a great meal (4 of us) here on Friday night catching up with some good friends who we have not eaten out with for…about 18 months, strangely. We had poppadoms and pickle tray to share and then all ordered from the chef’s recommendations part of the menu (something we also do as these dishes tend to get more attention by the chef). They were all delicious, beautifully cooked and very satisfying. We also had the mushroom rice, pilau rice and a range of the naans (plain, peshwari and garlic) and all were fresh and yummy. A small restaurant with an intimate atmosphere and a family feel. We were made to feel very welcome and are bound to return when we are next in Chipping Sodbury.

I enjoyed my meal here although my wife wasn't overly impressed. There is nothing wrong with the dining room or the service. The meal started well as there was a bit of extra effort with the chutney tray. My Naga was great but unfortunately the wife's karai was a bit bitter and chicken was on the dry side. Interestingly whilst the dishes looked very similar the tastes were completely different. There was nothing wrong with the sides all kept hot on a very effective table warmer. We were a bit disappointed that they had no non alcoholic beer or any kulfi.

An amazing meal, full of flavours with a great ambiance. Highly recommend to come for a nice meal with great service.

Dreadful. Pleasant staff but grubby, as was the restaurant. Poppadoms tastless and collapsible, accompaniments bland. Then came the butter chicken which was those frozen chunks, chewy and tastless so thought I'd stick with the pilau which was okay. But the butter sauce must have had half a pound of sugar tipped in. I gave up, paid and left. It would have been pointless saying anything tbh, they wouldn't have understood and maybe, especially as it wasn't cheap, I expected too much. The loos weren't clean and unfortunately I saw in the kitchen en route. I now know their hygiene rating is only 3. Up to you but I'd swerve and carry on walking.

Polite and friendly restaurant. Not very busy at 7pm on a Friday evening which was reassuring in terms of social distancing. Decor nice and good Indian music playing. Food pleasant, especially the dhall which tasted authentic and had plenty of lentils in it.

Had takeaway via deliveroo. Very disappointing meal. Food lukewarm at best on arrival (I live 1 min drive away), onion bhaji dry and tasteless, curry was average.

Used to love the Sultan before it became the Megna, and small changes made are welcome. Service, ambience and selection still every bit as good as before - however, the food was absolutely wonderful, and possibly our favourite yet. Will def be going again.... regularly. Best to book ahead!

One of our favourite Indian restaurants. We go there regularly. Excellent range of dishes, with many varied tastes. Still working our way through the wide menu. Don't think we have been disappointed. Staff friendly and helpful, with a nice welcome and farewell.

Friendly people and good food.

We absolutely love this place. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, greet you when you come through the door and see you out of it. Food is fantastic one of my faves places to get curry, the other half loves spicey and tanzils special is perfect for him

Food arrived over an half an hour late. Stone cold! Manager argued with me that the food wasn’t cold! Very rude... customer service and food are utterly appalling... wouldn’t waste your money!

We waited half an hour to have our order taken and a further hour for the food to arrive. When it finally did, it was quite pleasant but really not worth the wait. I would not recommend it and wish I had made a different choice.
