Much better before management change, probably the worst chinese takeaway i have had in my life. Save your money. Less than average and I'm not a picky customer usually.

Would NEVER eat here again! After being charged over £40 for 3 rices and 2 mains. The food arrived. To give you an idea of what the issue i had is. £2.40 for 1 sausage. A SAUSAGE! ! And it wasnt even battered! I was charged £11.40 for a chicken fried rice and 2 plain sausages. Absolute joke! How you lot are still in business is beyond me.

If you want a 'house special foo yung' expecting something special don't bother. A container shaped lump of egg with 2 prawns and a piece of onion is by no means special. Shame really food is normally quite good but this was really quite bad

AMAZING FOOD , me and my partner tried other Chinese but they were DISGUSTING so was hesitant to try here due to the reviews but we were extremely surprised because the dishes are delicious!!! Recommend ?

First time to this take away in a couple of years. I see the name has changed again. Just ordered a simple dish. Chips and curry sauce. Fast and friendly service. Chips were fresh and piping hot. Sauce was a little thin but good enough. Simple and tasty . Will go back again 🙂

I have struggled to find a decent Chinese takeaway for years since moving here but all of the orders I've had from Lucky China in the past year have been delicious. Would highly recommend the satay chicken skewers, BBQ spare ribs, any of the rice and chow mein dishes and actually so many more of the main dishes. I haven't tried everything but have not been disappointed with anything from there.

Had many takeaways from here but last night is the last time! Ordered special fried rice that was far from special. Might of well just ordered plain rice

I ordered online and have to say how absolutely disappointed I am with the meal I received. Stodgy overcooked food, some things massively underseasoned and some items so salty it made me vomit.the oil sits on top of the dishes and chips are clearly cooked in oil that shouldve been disposed of weeks prior to my order. The comparison to online to inshop prices are different too. If I could rate this a zero believe me I would. You couldnt pay me to eat at this establishment again. DISGUSTING!! 🤢🤢🤢

This is the second time ive been her since it changed hands had sweet and sour chicken balls they were rock hard and chicken was disgusting. Today we had battered sausages couldn't put knife thru them VERY over cooked. What a shame gave it 2nd chance never again !

Food was ok, hardly any sauce and a bit dry. No free prawn crackers for spending over £20 like other Chinese takeaways. Delivered quickly though.

Very unhappy, obviously problems with the website so called to check I was within delivery area at 2 miles. Told by very offhand woman that I could check on website and could only pay by card via the site. When I tried to explain the problem I was having, was greeted by "look, do you want to order food or not? Oh well, back to Spice 37. Always excelled food and service, just fancied a chinese.

Used to be my favourite! Since they've changed hands everything is vile. The fish is obviously gone off. The sauces have no taste and everything leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Horrible service too, when you have to return as they've given the wrong food, they look and speak to you like a bit of dirt! Kids running around the kitchen gone 9pm isn't great either is it. Avoid and spend your money else where!

First time using Lucky China and definitely will not be using again. My meal was so bland and a complete waste if money!!

3/3/18 now called taste of china. Had a simple meal of chips, chicken balls and curry sauce. Soggy chicken balls, no flavour in the curry sauce. Average chips. Not very friendly just happy to see some cash. They had a paper in there to read from 18the Feb, 15 days old. Not a big deal to most people but to me suggests theyre not too worried about the customers during waiting times.

I've been ordering takeaway here for years brilliant.

Nothing is ever the same taste it's always hit and miss. The delivery people are lovely polite and fast but the actual food it's stressful when you get that craving for the Chinese you had the other day then you get it and you can't eat it. The worst thing they do make it the spring rolls they have strange taste one day great the next last night's spring roll has so much garlic it burnt my mouth

We ordered for delivery. The food was OK but lacked any flavour. The crispy beef was in a slimy sauce, the chowmein was dry and literally tasted of nothing. We’ve had worse but if you like a good Chinese full of flavour, this is not the place for you!

This place is terrible do not waste your money used to great under previous management but now chips taste old and nothing has any flavour

Not the best Chinese takeaway I've used. They were fast and friendly, but I'd rather wait a little longer and get tastier food that looks more appetising!

Improved so much ,can honestly say they are the best Chinese you will find ,super clean , freindly and will work with you for allergy's or diet restrictions , food tastes so good ,meat and chicken was super soft and juicy , and the rice and chow mein had SO SO SO much flavour ,me and my family's go to Chinese and the sizes are really good value for the price

Ordered different boxes for 3 people . Order was delivered before the time given and so please with the portion. Taste really good and really enjoy my meal there. Will definitely order again and more often from this place.

Usually great food, sadly let down this evening. Ok was expecting the long wait , it is saturday, wasnt prepared for STONE cold food when it did eventually arrive. Obnoxious women who answered the phone. Should get someone with a better telephone manner and a delivery driver who knows what hes doing. WONT BE ORDERING AGAIN.

Wrong order asked for battered sausage and chips as well as other food but got 2 spring rolls Insted of a sausage and no pancakes as ordered. Collected in the pooring rain to get home to find order was wrong. Food was nice but wasn't going out in the rain again with a hungry 3 year old. So had to cook even though this was a treat! Also a 30min wait even though it wasn't busy.

Quality of food doesn’t justify the price, chips dry/reheated, chicken balls are processed chicken, slimy and funny smell,dripping in grease. Rice ok but dirty oil, poor standard of meat. Sweet and sour sauce loaded with vinegar, crispy chicken is soggy, in vinegar sauce and no flavour. Will not order again. Would have been disappointed at half what we paid. Website charges more if using cards, paper menu is cheaper. However menu says £1 charge for delivery, website charges £2.50.... steer clear

Disgusting found a long hair in my meal and they denied it do not use hygene issues obviously

Never turned up - Phoned the restaurant to ask what was going on to be told they had received another complaint about not receiving a delivery - Was told the driver must've done a runner with the food, sounded like utter BS.

This place is just as bad as the people who ran it before food is rubbish would not recommend it to anyone

Sadly after a longwait the food was a disappointment...first and last time of ordering from here.
