Went here with a group of friends, around 15-20 of us a couple of weeks back and I have to say the service was exceptional!! Most restaurants I've visited with a large party like this get the food order wrong, slow service or food come out in 'dribs and drabs' and people are finishing there meals as others are starting. NOT HERE!! Food cooked to order, all came out on time for us all and was lovely!! However, there is no bar here as it's "bring your own" which also keeps the cost down!! Have visited at least 4 times. Good portions, very reasonably priced. Booking recommended as it does get busy with locals. .

Had a meal here a couple of weeks ago with the wife. Food and service was fantastic. I have been in hospitality for 40 years now and this place rates very highly. Will be going back next week to celebrate my retirement.

I visit the Balti regularly with friends. Always a friendly greeting & delicious food. Very reasonably priced & a byo! Love it.

Had our first takeaway from here. Won't be last as food was excellent. Not all oil like some other places. I had Frampton Special Balti which I can highly recommend but all 4 of our meals were great. Could do with a bit more info on what the meals actually are on website though as it was pot luck!

Ordered a vegetable curry which sadly was just potatoes and sauce. The passanda and massalla sauce tasted a bit off... Very bland but also a bit like perfume...? Although the peshwari naan was heavenly and portion sizes were nice and big. Very confused on how there are so many 5 star reviews, maybe we just had a bad batch? Or it's better dining in?

Best curry ever, wouldn't go anywhere else. Authentic as I love a Masalla and it's the only place that doesn't throw a load of red food colouring in to make it look toxic lol highly recommended.

Genuinely the best curry I've ever had (and I've had a lot). Lamb tikka dansak cooked to perfection. How lucky are we to have this absolute gem on our doorstep!?

Ordered food one was king prawn tikka massala - plenty of sauce two prawns none of which were king prawns - 11 pounds paid for this told this is standard two prawns per main !

Excellent choice by my son, heard lots of good reports and we weren't disappointed. Ordered takeaway by phone and as promised it was all there for us to collect 30 minutes later. Paid by contactless so no need to use the chefonline. We will be back, maybe next time to eat in when allowed.

The worst takeaway I’ve had since moving here 3 years ago. 2 hours late. Chicken tikka masala flavourless and powdery. Samosas taste like school dinner mince. They do amazing poppadoms though. Wont be ordering from here again.

As a takeaway, its great - they do a huge range of wonderful curries and the portion sizes are good. Super lush and we are lucky to have something like this in Frampton. Recommend calling to book rather then using the online apps. Some limited parking on road and spaces, recommend parking a little further away to avoid the Uber Eats drivers. As a dine-in restaurant, its nice - very friendly, well dressed staff and there is plenty of seating - there can be quite a bit of foot traffic for the takeaway, but otherwise all good.

It’s a shame. We ordered 2 different curries and I could tell they had been frozen and reheated. The texture of the meat and the sauce was a giveaway. The rice was extremely dry, too. Quite disappointing.

Had a meal here with my wife yesterday. The food was nothing short of excellent. It’s fair to say that I have not had a curry that good in a very long time. We went around 17:45 so the place was empty except for quite a few people collecting takeaways. A few people came in to eat around 18:45. There are a couple of things which could be improved though. The place is a bit “dull”. It’s clean but could do with a bit more decorative “life”. Also we were not asked if we would like a drink ( no alcohol on the menu, but we don’t drink anyway) when we sat down which would be normal in any restaurant in my view. The staff are pleasant, but low key. It is minimally staffed so nothing happens quickly. Finally, it isn’t that easy to spot from the road. We passed it twice until my wife pointed it out back from the road. They could do with a prominent sign. All that said, go for the food. In my opinion you won’t get better.

It might have been our unlucky day to order, but both our curries were tasteless and also the bombay aloo had no flavour.

We had high hopes after looking at the reviews, but found it disappointing. The food tasted quite bland and they forgot to apply the 10% discount for ordering over £15.

Nice curry house. Good parking. Food was tasty portions could gave been a bit bigger. There was a very large party in there and it was too loud and people knocking the plates when they walked past. Would try again.

We eat here everything we visit friends in Frampton Cottrell. Food is always nice but not consistent. This wouldn't stop us going back.

Best value and qualiry BYO in area

My local curry house. Very friendly staff and I've always had lovely food here.

Love the place, the food, and the staff. Unfortunately cannot give it any higher because their current online transactions are not secure. Used a card for ordering that hadn't been used before and therefore could only have been taken for fraud from this. If you put your details into this chefonline then you cannot guarantee that someone won't start using your card. £200 worth of transactions went through before the card company caught it. I'm hesitant to order from here again, which is a shame because the food is very good.

Avoid! The curry was dry and bland and tasted like it came from a jar. The “saga loo” was a couple of boiled potatoes with no spinach or sauce. They got our order wrong. The onion Bhaji was rock hard but dripping with grease. All the meats were dry. So disappointed. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Excellent restaurant, great service and fantastic food. Huge menu with lots of choice. We came in with quite a large group and they handled this brilliantly. I would recommend.

Well what a gem of a place. Don't be put off by external appearances. The onion barges and the chicken biryani possibly the best I have had in a long time.

Great local Indian. Visited here on many of occasions. The food is always great aswell as cheap. The service is amazing due to the friendly staff that work there. Highly recommend this Indian due to it being a local business and be able to bring your own alcohol is great!
