The best cake I've had in a long time! Wonderful friendly staff and good coffee and hot chocolate too.

First of all, I should say I got a 'Too Good To Go' surprise bag from here a few weeks ago, this isn't necessarily representative of what this cafe sells, but it is still £4 I will not get back. I have been closely involved in the cafe trade in the past and therefore what I am about to say comes from experience. So here we go: a damp tomato, mozzarella and pesto sandwich was really not good at all (I'd suggest not leaving pesto in there for hours on end as the end result is a soggy mess), a stale croissant I could accept at the end of the day but it was not buttery and was I suspect mass produced, and a not too bad banana cake, a 7/10, was the only redeeming thing here. I understand that this is the 'Too Good To Go' is a system for getting rid of food items but this shouldn't mean the food is not very nice as then there isn't much point in still making a profit in selling this food on...

Food was poor! I've ordered two full English breakfasts and I had two cheapest sausages you can get possibly from Aldi two pieces of bacon with was deep fried possibly together with the sausages. About teaspoon of beans soggy toast and two eggs and the eggs where ok for change. Avoid ordering from there!

Amazing. A really good selection of cakes, all fresh, well made, and great quality. Hands down, the best black forest I've ever tasted (no pictures because it was inhaled. Quickly.) Light, fluffy, and the icing was perfectly balanced. Service was noteably warm and friendly, too. Can't wait to try the brownies.

Great little cafe, went for the first time today after spotting the cakes yesterday. Nice toastie and really nice cakes, bought two as I couldn't decide which to go for due to the wide selection. The first bit was a joy and I have the 2nd saved for later. Will visit again next time I am in Bristol.

The food and service are absolutely amazing. Our company is located just above St Nicolas Market and we are regular customers. Guys never disappointed us. I don't know how guys prepared 25 breakfast rolls at the same time. All warm and delicious.

Loved the Sponge Cake! The frosting was delicious and the cake wasn’t too sweet. It was a perfect balance of a creamy, rich sweetness.

Have ordered cakes from here a few times now and they are absolutely delicious. The coconut lemon sponge, the vegan chocolate and tiramisu cakes are really tasty. My only issue is that portion sizes may vary. I received a decent slice for price on one occasion. Another occasion, relatively small for the price paid.

Took nearly an hour to deliver a sandwich and a coffee to my work place, driver arrived and then dropped my order! Been told to contact Uber. Pack your food and drinks properly so it doesn’t rip! No contact number either to call. AVOID!!

Had the Forest Gateaux, looked amazing, and was well baked. The problem for me was the taste. The filling was (I think) sour cherries with cream cheese frosting (but just tasted of cream cheese?), the sponge was a great texture but didn't taste of chocolate just tasted bitter (and I really like a dark chocolate sponge with lots of cocoa!). The result was sour/cheesey/bitter - 3 flavours that, for me, do not go together. Not a hint of sweetness. Neither my daughter, nor I, managed to finish, and that's highly unusual! :-) Staff were very nice though, and could just be our taste?

Very good customer service and the tiramisu and chocolate and raspberry cakes were great, but I don't recommend the banana walnut cake, not very much flavour

The vegan range here is immense. The cakes are pricey but they're absolutely huge portions and delicious. Nice to be able to have delicious icing and fillings without dairy. The chocolate orange cake was so good.

I love this cafe cos it offers wide selections of cakes. My favourite is tiramisu cake and carrot cake, price is reasonable (3.80£ per piece). It’s located inside St. Nicholas Market close to high street. Good to take a break here after your visit in the market, or take away the cafe as refreshments for your tea time / dessert.

Stumbled across Crafty Beans in St Nicholas Market whilst exploring this area of Bristol and what a find!!! We had a breakfast bap (£4) which was incredible - delicious bacon, sausage, egg, hash brown and cheese in a lovely light bap, all freshly cooked and wrapped in foil to keep it warm. The selection of cakes were amazing too - ‘normal’ and vegan and also delicious. Good coffee too. Excellent friendly service and you can eat there or we took ours away to sit in the nearby park where the sun was shining. Very highly recommend and will definitely go back when I’m next in Bristol.

The nicest team who make the nicest cakes with the most professional service. I ordered a cake with extremely short notice and not only did they throw in delivery for free, they added extra special touches to it and candles! The cake itself was delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone in Bristol!

Great, moist cake. Lovely toasties, which the friendly team were happy to amend to suit my 5 year old. Great place to sit and people watch.
